Former President Barack Obama said during a just-released interview that people who watch Fox News are living on a "different planet" than those who listen to National Public Radio (NPR). Obama joined David Letterman in the first episode of the former late-night host´s new Netflix show "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction." In the interview, which was released Friday but recorded in the fall, Obama talked about his personal life as well recent political and social issues. Letterman asked the former president about "hypothetical" situations in the United States, asking which circumstance would be most damaging to democracy. "Let´s just

I think Donald Trump’s recently used expletive to describe certain countries could certainly be repurposed to describe the “planet” Obama is currently living on based on his comments. I’ll stay on the planet I’m at, thank you.

How did you pay for college? The complete, real, story. It´s OK, no one will change their opinion of you and after your successful con of 2 terms in the WH, you won´t face charges. So a muslim activist or a communist footed the bill, big deal. Just tell the world the story.

Norristown, Pa. -- Bill Cosby was convicted Thursday of drugging and molesting a woman in the first big celebrity trial of the #MeToo era, completing the spectacular late-life downfall of a comedian who broke racial barriers in Hollywood on his way to TV superstardom as America´s Dad. Cosby, 80, could end up spending his final years in prison after a jury concluded he sexually violated Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. He claimed the encounter was consensual. Cosby stared straight ahead as the verdict was read, but moments later lashed out loudly at District Attorney Kevin

The election is over and Republican Debbie Lesko has won a West Valley congressional special election in a district that has leaned right for decades. Here’s what else we learned from the unexpectedly competitive race to replace Trent Franks, the veteran Republican who resigned in December amid a sexual-misconduct scandal. The unofficial results show a dramatic underperformance by a Republican in the solidly GOP district. That’s a problem for Republicans, who now need to sort through the results to determine how problematic the landscape will be for them in November. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) will vote to confirm Ric Grenell as the next U.S. ambassador to Germany, ensuring the confirmation of what will be the highest-ranking ever openly gay person to serve the United States government. Grenell was nominated last year to the position by President Donald Trump. Grenell, who will be confirmed on the floor of the U.S. Senate on Thursday, will report directly to the Secretary of State. The previously highest-ranking openly gay official in government was Barack Obama-era Army Secretary Eric Fanning—who reported directly to the Secretary of Defense. WASHINGTON – Former Vice President Al Gore labeled Fox News a “propaganda machine,” calling for America to “restore the integrity of the conversation of democracy.” “Fox News is an example of, essentially, a propaganda operation. Now, I don’t want to tar all of them. You have people like Shep Smith and some of the others and – who was it who did that powerful interview with Scott Pruitt? Ed Henry,” Gore said during a discussion today sponsored by Axios. “There are a number of really fine journalists at Fox News who are doing an outstanding job, but the primetime shows
