The only thing worse than Senator Elizabeth Warren having to pretend she likes the tax cuts she vehemently opposed in Congress is wealthy House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi look down her nose in disdain at the millions of Americans celebrating their tax bonuses. She actually called the specter ´pathetic´ and the bonuses ´crumbs.´ According to Fox News, which has a video of the sorry performance: “In terms of the bonus that corporate America receives versus the crumbs they are giving to workers to put the schmooze on is so pathetic. This rich b*itch´s crumbs would have been 1/3 of my gross annual income when I was a student working to put myself through engineering graduate school.

For most of us, $1000 is three or four month´s car payments, a house payment or a large part of one, or a good chunk of the cost of a semester of college.

Because they can no longer deduct mortgage amounts beyond the threshold for their mega mansions, or their state income tax or property tax over $10,000. Back in 1982, I watched my first Mexican presidential election. It included rallies, TV ads, lots of placards, and even a little space for the opposition. However, the result was known before election day. Everybody knew that the PRI´s candidate would win easily. And Mr. De La Madrid did exactly that. Today, no one really knows who will win. There are three major candidates: Mr. López Obrador, from the leftist Morena party; Mr. Meade from the incumbent PRI; and Mr. Anaya from the center-right PAN. The polls show Mr. López Obrador leading, but I am not ready to tell you he is
