Barack Obama has shared his ´dad´ dancing tips and recalled the time he showed off his awkward moves on stage with Prince - just a few months before the music icon passed away. The former president, who has always considered himself a typical father, jokingly talked about his skills during During a clip of ´My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman´ The former Commander-in-Chief remembers when the Kiss singer asked first daughter Sasha on stage during one of his very last performances. ´This was probably three or four months before he died, and Prince asked Sasha to come up and dance,´

Insufferable. Letterman´s beard is probably intended to make him look like some nineteenth-century sage, Leo Tolstoy revisited.
Letterman wants to be taken seriously, Obama wants to be all self-effacing as a "dad" figure, and they are both phony. They should take this act on the road and call it "Fake and Faker." Prince might have called himself a "prince" but at least he had talent, and could back up the pretense.

We now know two things Obama can´t do, play golf and dance. Letterman with that ´Bother Where Ar´t Thou´ hobo beard looks stupid. Who would take all of this serious? Not me!

I was wondering about that "KISS singer" thing, too! (But, they DID wear that makeup - was Prince the one with the long tongue?)

Paraphrasing Sethi from the film Moses:
"Let the name of Buraq Obama be stricken from every book and tablet, stricken from all pylons and obelisks, stricken from every monument of America. Let the name of Buraq Obama be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of men for all time."

COLUMBIA, SC Inside an S.C. state prison, it is possible for an inmate using an illegal cellphone to get on the internet´s "dark web," run a thriving drug ring and plot to send a bomb by the U.S. mail. In U.S. District Court in Columbia this week, witness after witness — including FBI domestic terrorism and internet and explosives experts — testified just how easy it was for convicted killer Michael Young, 32, to do all those things from his cell at the Broad River Road complex near Irmo. The FBI´s investigation of Young — dubbed "Operation Boom Box" — involved more than

WASHINGTON - A long-awaited U.S. Justice Department internal watchdog report on former FBI chief James Comey’s public disclosures on Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state and whether FBI employees leaked information to try to hurt her 2016 presidential bid is expected to be issued next month. The report from Michael Horowitz, the department’s inspector general, arises from an investigation he launched about a week before Republican President Donald Trump, who defeated Democrat Clinton in the election, took office in January 2017. In a letter last week to Republican Representative Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House

WASHINGTON - The Trump administration rolled out a long-awaited overhaul of U.S. arms export policy on Thursday aimed at expanding sales to allies, saying it will bolster the American defense industry and create jobs at home. The White House aims to speed up arms deal approvals and increase the role of senior U.S. officials, including President Donald Trump, in closing foreign sales, while giving greater weight to business interests in sales decisions that have long prioritized human rights. The initiative, as first reported by Reuters, adds the full weight of government to Trump’s direct personal role in pushing arms sales during

Plastic straws, drinks stirrers and cotton buds could be banned from sale in England under plans being set out by Theresa May. The prime minister said plastic waste was "one of the greatest environmental challenges facing the world" and said the UK was taking a lead in tackling the problem. A consultation on banning the disposable plastic products will launch later this year in an effort to cut the amount of waste which ends up in rivers and oceans. Mrs May urged Commonwealth leaders gathered in London to follow the UK’s example in tackling the problem. She said: “Plastic waste is one of

COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina lawmakers have given key approval to a sanctuary cities bill backed by Gov. Henry McMaster, but not without some changes. After hours of debate Wednesday, the House gave second reading approval to the bill penalizing local governments for not reporting people in the country without legal permission. But lawmakers also changed the proposal to allow courts and not the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to determine if local governments aren´t reporting people in the country illegally. Critics say sanctuary cities are already illegal in South Carolina and the bill would solve a problem that does

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently told the White House he might have to leave his job if President Trump fired his deputy, Rod J. Rosenstein, who oversees the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the exchange. Sessions made his position known in a phone call to White House counsel Donald McGahn last weekend, as Trump’s fury at Rosenstein peaked after the deputy attorney general approved the FBI’s raid April 9 on the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen. Sessions’s message to the White House, which has not previously been reported, underscores the political firestorm

“If the Trumps were Democrats,” conservative actor James Woods tweeted earlier this month, “Melania would be on every cover of every chic women’s magazine in the world every month.” Woods may be exaggerating a little bit — only Oprah can put herself on the cover of a magazine every month, and it’s her own magazine — but he does make an interesting point. First Lady Melania Trump has not graced the cover of a single magazine in the United States since her husband took office over a year ago. Michelle Obama, on the other hand, was featured on at least thirty

The past 12 hours brought two very big revelations involving former FBI director James B. Comey, President Trump and the Russia investigation, and they must be looked at side by side to fully grasp their collective importance. Comey’s memos of his conversations with Trump have leaked in full. This came after Republicans threatened to subpoena them from Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, leading him to release them to Congress. Comey confirmed to Rachel Maddow that before getting fired, he ordered an internal investigation into whether Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani had been privately tipped off by people in the FBI two weeks

New York set aside $10 million for the legal defense of immigrants targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement just days after ICE announced the arrest of hundreds of people in the state. The Liberty Defense Project will ensure legal rights are being represented, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. It was launched last year, but it needs the additional funds in light of what state officials described as “overly aggressive tactics” from ICE. “ICE’s hyper-aggressive raids on hardworking New Yorkers are immoral and un-New York, and we stand more determined than ever to support the rights of all immigrants in the Empire State

Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, introduced legislation Wednesday aimed at dissuading President Trump from pardoning people involved in the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. The bill, called the Abuse of Pardon Prevention Act, comes on the heels of Trump’s pardon for Scooter Libby, the former chief of staff to former Vice President Dick Cheney who was convicted of lying to the FBI and obstruction of justice. Schiff’s legislation discourages the president from pardoning a person in connection to an investigation in which the president or a family member is a target,
