Republicans unveil harder-line
fix for DACA

The Hill, by Melanie Zanona

A group of House Republicans unveiled their own solution to an Obama-era immigration program on Wednesday as questions persist over how congressional leadership and the White House will work out a deal on the issue. The bill, backed by the chairmen of the House Judiciary and Homeland Security committees, would call for more aggressive enforcement measures in exchange for addressing the thousands of young undocumented immigrants whose fate has been in limbo for months. Backers of the bill are hoping to rally GOP support in the coming days, seizing on the concerns of their House colleagues that they could find

Every DACA member should start at the end of the current line of LEGAL immigrants going through the normal LEGAL process for immigrating into the United States.

I heard it´s about 10 years wait, or more, so that shouldn´t be a problem with the Democrats, right?

NO!
Deport all DACA illegals, ASAP. Zero amnesty.
They have already been stealing for decades, end their theft, send them HOME.

85% of "illegal households" use welfare, frequently multiple kinds. This needs to STOP!

Politics is the art of the possible. Ronald Maximus knew that. The Teflon Don knows that.

This is a good and doable package, hardliners on either side (who live in worlds that do not and never will exist) notwithstanding.

The last time republicans dealt with this issue, they proved naive if not downright stupid. The dems proved themselves devious liars to pubbies and President Reagan.. Trump will be smart to not approve anything until the wall money is in the bank, their toady judges are quelled, and his other issues are dealt with. Most democrats have taquiya down to a science.

To those who´s first reaction is to accept compromise, remember that President Reagan thought he too could trust Congress.

Another point is our current activist Judicial branch. All that has to happen it the law gets passed exactly the way you want it and the 9th or some random judge in Hawaii announces that 1/2 the law is unconstitutional and cannot be implemented. PLEASE open your eyes.

I heard PT state that he would accept a "clean" DACA bill. I understand he walked it back.
I don´t want a "clean" bill I want something, much, in return. I want an end to chain immigration, anchor babies, I want those who are not productive, committed crimes, can´t speak the language, to be deported. I want stringent vetting procedures. I wall funding for the wall. I want the March 5 date to be held. Hoyer said that there were DACA medical students that can´t get residence because of there status. Then agree to get rid of the bums. And I want a express line for deportation of all not covered by the new DACA. The dems did this down and dirty and now they want President Trump to save them.

Can anyone tell me why we have to accept CACA in the first place??

So many act like the President is going to end up getting the upper hand on some sort of "deal", but agreeing to ANYTHING on this is selling out the sovereignty of US citizens.

There is already a huge rush on the borders up to Nobama levels now that it looks like the President is making a deal with the devil socialists.....

Giving in to both sides of the cheap labor undercutting AMERICANS and creating a new wave or progency NOT loyal to this country as an permanent underclass is lacking integrity, and allowing this is going to ruin any change for upending socialism.

The House has been keeing the nuts in the Senate at bay, but when the President agrees to this, its going to create problems with the Deplorable "forgotten" AMERICANS....

Hitlery would have done this in a heartbeat--why is Mr. Trump losing his fortitude against this???

Under the Goodlatte bill what happens when the DACA recipients have anchor babies?

While we´re at it, why don´t we e-Verify the vote? If you fail e-Verify your ballot is treated as a provisional ballot.

The DACA group is full of the less than intelligent portion of criminal alien invaders...the more intelligent ones contacted an immigration attorney and began working on citizenship when they reached the age of majority.

I wish they would E-verify all welfare programs...and not just new hires/new applicants, check all the current one within 90 days, too!

If you compare the "crime" of illegal entry to other crimes, criminals are not supposed to keep the profits from their crimes, rob a bank and when you are caught you give the money back. So why should a trespasser be given anything for hiding within the place they trespassed into??

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) declared on Tuesday that legislation designed to bar President Trump from firing special counsel Robert Mueller is unconstitutional. Lee argued in a USA Today op-ed that Trump alone holds the power to determine Mueller´s future as special counsel, and that any effort by the Senate to curb that power would violate the separation of powers doctrine. "Supporters of the legislation argue it is necessary to ensure no one is above the law, but the Constitution is the highest law of the land, and the Constitution provides that only the president can exercise executive power," Lee wrote. Washington’s self-righteous establishmentarians talk of professionalism when they act unprofessionally. They refer at length to their intellectual and professional pedigrees when they prove incompetent. And they cite their morality and ethics when they possess neither. And then, adding insult to injury, when the public expresses abhorrence at their behavior, they accuse critics of unprofessionalism, a lack of patriotism, or reckless demagoguery.
