Washington state’s Democratic Governor Jay Inslee warned there was “just 59 days” to save future generations from “an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next.” Inslee went on a lengthy Twitter rant in efforts to convince the state legislature to pass legislation to tax carbon dioxide emissions. Washington residents voted down Inslee’s last carbon tax plan by a wide margin in 2016. (Tweet) The state legislature’s session ends in 59 days, on March 8. Democrats have a slim majority in both state legislative chambers. Inslee wants lawmakers to pass a tax on carbon

How dare the peasants not give their Demon-RAT overlords exactly what they want?!?!?!? They must be punished (with higher taxes), and the Politburo (I mean Demon-RAT controlled legislature) must do whatever they want since the peasants are clearly too stupid to do the "right thing"...

I am so glad this article has appeared here on Lucianne .Now the world and his wife can understand how frustrating politics are in WA state. If Inslee gets the go ahead he plans to pile a 20 cents a gallon super tax on gasoline which is going to hurt a lot of residents who don´t live in the public transportation core of Seattle/King County. Inslee has never met a tax he doesn´t like, he is a lazy governor totally lacking in inspiration to improve people´s lives. Fortune smiled on this state when the Boeing Company flourished here, but taxes have since sent them scurrying to South Carolina, Wichita and new HQ in Chicago. Bill Gates hit pay dirt with Microsoft, Bezos brought Amazon to town and of course the ubiquitous Starbucks coffee started in Seattle. As long as they prosper life is hunky dory for the core but the grim Agenda 21 lurks behind all the regressive liberal political decision making designed to control our lives. WA will always be the poster child for voter fraud. We cannot have it all, great scenic beauty goes hand in hand with ugly politics.

College students marched against the Vietnam War. Whether Democrats realize it or not, the names being tossed as potential 2020 challengers to President Trump are weak. It’s milquetoast. All far too left for the American voter, and all with rigid regional appeal. Who knows who Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is outside of New Jersey? The same could be said for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) doesn’t resonate outside of the Boston suburbs. And Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), well, she’s working hard to boost her profile, but she’s running aground with the Bernie crowd. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) could run again, but his age—and the

Michelle Obama has been spotted letting loose at Beyonce and Jay-Z´s concert in Paris with the former First Lady dancing up a storm. Mrs Obama and her 17-year-old daughter Sasha were among the famous faces in the crowd as they watched the power couple take to the stage for their On the Run II tour on Sunday night. Michelle and Sasha were snapped in the stands at the Stade de France by several excited fans before Beyonce and Jay-Z took to the stage. But when the duo´s concert kicked off, Sasha was no where to be seen and Michelle was spotted mingling with

President Donald Trump’s comments during a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday were “treasonous,” former CIA Director John Brennan asserted. “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors,’” Brennan, a vocal Trump critic, wrote on Twitter. “It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???” Trump and Putin fielded questions from reporters at a joint summit in Helsinki following a one-on-one meeting earlier in the day. Trump praised Putin during

Democratic Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen on Monday called for the “military folks” to save America from President Donald Trump after Trump’s much-criticized press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Where are our military folks? The Commander in Chief is in the hands of our enemy!” Cohen wrote on Twitter, using language suggestive of a military coup. (Tweet) Cohen later said that he was in no way calling for a coup. “No coup called for,” he wrote, claiming it unlikely that someone would call for a coup on Twitter. Cohen’s bizarre tweet was similar to one from former Obama CIA Director

Watching FBI agent Peter Strzok battle with Congress, my initial reaction was pure anger. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad. Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted. Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of

Citing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh´s record on privacy issues, Sen. Rand Paul (R–Ky.) said Sunday that he has yet to decide if he´ll vote to confirm the judge. "I´m concerned about Kavanaugh," Paul said on Fox & Friends, alluding to the judge´s views on the Fourth Amendment, which protects American citizens from "unreasonable searches and seizures." Paul explained that since President Donald Trump "did such a great job" with his first Supreme Court pick, Neil Gorsuch, he is keeping an "open mind" regarding Kavanaugh. But the Kentucky Republican is "worried" and "perhaps disappointed" that Kavanaugh may "cancel out Gorsuch´s
