Washington state’s Democratic Governor Jay Inslee warned there was “just 59 days” to save future generations from “an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next.” Inslee went on a lengthy Twitter rant in efforts to convince the state legislature to pass legislation to tax carbon dioxide emissions. Washington residents voted down Inslee’s last carbon tax plan by a wide margin in 2016. (Tweet) The state legislature’s session ends in 59 days, on March 8. Democrats have a slim majority in both state legislative chambers. Inslee wants lawmakers to pass a tax on carbon

What the dimwit Guv means by only 59 days left is this. In 59 days if taxes are not raised and other stuff enacted then it is too late and therefore it could take 50, 100, 200 or even 300 hundred years for the earth to destruct. Lordy, don´t any of you understand science?

But this says that "the people" soundly defeated this nonsense in 2016.

How dare the peasants not give their Demon-RAT overlords exactly what they want?!?!?!? They must be punished (with higher taxes), and the Politburo (I mean Demon-RAT controlled legislature) must do whatever they want since the peasants are clearly too stupid to do the "right thing"...

I am so glad this article has appeared here on Lucianne .Now the world and his wife can understand how frustrating politics are in WA state. If Inslee gets the go ahead he plans to pile a 20 cents a gallon super tax on gasoline which is going to hurt a lot of residents who don´t live in the public transportation core of Seattle/King County. Inslee has never met a tax he doesn´t like, he is a lazy governor totally lacking in inspiration to improve people´s lives. Fortune smiled on this state when the Boeing Company flourished here, but taxes have since sent them scurrying to South Carolina, Wichita and new HQ in Chicago. Bill Gates hit pay dirt with Microsoft, Bezos brought Amazon to town and of course the ubiquitous Starbucks coffee started in Seattle. As long as they prosper life is hunky dory for the core but the grim Agenda 21 lurks behind all the regressive liberal political decision making designed to control our lives. WA will always be the poster child for voter fraud. We cannot have it all, great scenic beauty goes hand in hand with ugly politics.

YORK, Pa. -- One of five black women golfers who were told to leave a Pennsylvania club said Tuesday it felt like they were playing "with targets on our backs." Representatives of the Grandview Golf Club in York told the group at the second hole they were playing too slowly Saturday, said Sandra Harrison. After the ninth hole, an hour-and-a-half later, the group of white men told them they took too long a break and needed to leave. Harrison said she and two other women left because they were so rattled by the treatment. "It was like we were playing

GOP control of the Senate is narrow, and with the upcoming Senate races, the power balance could tip in favor of Democrat, pro-abortion advocates. Planned Parenthood knows this, of course, and will be pouring a reported $30 million into abortion advocacy through its political arm. This money will be spent on Senate and gubernatorial races in a number of states, including Arizona, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and will be used to fund TV and digital ads, direct-mail campaigns, and even advocacy in the public square. Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman Bob Corker (R-TN) said President Donald Trump could not “charm” North Korea’s Kim Jong-un into giving up its nuclear weapons. (Snip) SENATOR BOB CORKER: Look, I’m glad they’re meeting. I think all of us look at this with great caution and skepticism. This has been going on for 25 years and obviously Kim Jong-un has learned about public relations (ph) and is setting it up well for him. But I think everyone that’s been around this looks at this as just the beginning. It may lead to something, may not. Let’s
