A Danish bomb squad has surrounded the US embassy in Copenhagen this afternoon after a ´suspicious object´ was found by police. The building has been cordoned off and people have been told to stay away from the area. The embassy tweeted: ´The Copenhagen Police is investigating a suspicious item near the Embassy. Please follow @KobenhavnPoliti for latest updates. We advise people to stay away from area near the Embassy.´ It is not yet clear if any explosives have been found. Europe remains on high alert after a wave of terror attacks over the last three years. In February 2015, Denmark was rocked by three
White House Chief of Staff John Kelly acknowledged Wednesday that President Donald Trump has ´changed´ his position on major campaign pledges like the border wall that was supposed to stretch from sea to shining sea. At a meeting on Wednesday with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Capitol Hill Kelly reportedly said that some of Trump´s views were ´uninformed´ and and admitted that Mexico will not pay for a border structure. ´As we talked about things, where this president is and how much he wants to deal with this DACA issue and take it away,´ Kelly told Fox News later, ´I told them
AN explosion has rocked a police station in Malmo, Sweden forcing officers to lock down the area after a suspected hand grenade detonated. The explosion was caused by a hand grenade according to local news reports. The police have released a statement to say they were called by several people due to a loud bang. Police spokeswoman Anna Goransson said to the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet: “The place is locked off and the bombing group is on its way. President Trump spends a chunk of each day on the phone, whether it´s a White House landline or ´Trump One´ or ´Trump Two,´ the nicknames his aides have given to his two cell phones. CNN divulged more details about Trump´s habits during so-called ´executive time,´ a term used on the president´s schedule to indicate he´s doing work, but often from the Yellow Oval room, located in the residence. Axios first reported that ´executive time´ was taking up more and more of Trump´s ´shrinking´ schedule, suggesting it was time spent on Twitter and watching TV, and not in the Oval Office being productive.
White House staff planning to assist President Donald Trump in his delayed ´Fake News Awards´ may risk running afoul of ethics laws, according to ethics experts. President Trump has repeatedly touted the awards, scheduled for January 17, after some delays, hyping the otherwise unexplained event on his Twitter account. As president, he is free to engage in uninhibited political activity – but the same may not hold true for aides working on the government dime. ´WARNING to White House staff: the president may be exempt from the rules ... on misuse of position BUT YOU ARE NOT,´ wrote Obama ethics czar Norm Eisen,
Somebody needs to tell Mahmoud Abbas that the jig is up, the game is over. Wait. My mistake. President Trump did that already but Abbas still fails to get the message. Ditto the Democrats who can’t get it through their thick skulls that they lost, Trump won. He won even as Liberals try every Dirty Trick to unseat him from one false charge to another; last month’s Russia collusion, last week’s mental unfitness, and today’s accusation that he’s a racist. Trump is no racist, quite the opposite if the Mar-a-Lago story ever gets told…which we’ll do in a moment. Nor can Liberals, from
President Trump seemed delighted to crash a women´s event held on the White House campus Tuesday, which was also attended by his daughter Ivanka Trump and top aide Kellyanne Conway. ´I really appreciate you all being here, it´s an honor,´ said the president during brief remarks at the Conversations with Women in America event, which wasn´t on Trump´s official schedule. ´Again, when I heard I ran across the street and ... now I´m going to run back to the Oval Office.´ Trump used the opportunity to tout the economic gains women have made during his almost one-year tenure. We are making incredible

Several law enforcement agencies then banded together to search for McCall. At 1:07am, shots rang out and a York police officer was found injured. He was driven to the Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill in another officer´s car.
Thousands of people put at risk by a volcanic eruption in Papua New Guinea have been evacuated by the authorities. Eruptions on Kadovar Island in the East Sepik region of the South Pacific island led to Prime Minister Peter O´Neill orchestrating the evacuation. It is feared further eruptions might occur in the nation´s north, the government said on Monday. Mr O´Neill also warned northern coastal communities to be alert for possible tsunamis resulting from volcanic activity. ´Volcanoes are very unpredictable. We are hearing various reports that activity has been building up and we need to take all precautions to keep
This is the shocking moment a massive brawl broke out in a California pizza restaurant over a missing iPhone that turned out to have been in the lost and found the whole time. Police were called to John´s Incredible Pizza Company in Newark´s NewPark Mall on Saturday night after violence erupted. It broke out after a girl missing her phone had approached a group to see if they´d seen it but quickly descended into chaos, with video showing two large groups of people exchanging blows and screaming at each other. RAF Typhoon fighter jets have been scrambled to intercept Russian planes as they approached UK airspace this morning - the latest in a series of provocations by Moscow. Royal Air Force Typhoons took off from the Lossiemouth airbase, north east Scotland, just before 9.30am. A spokesman said: “We can confirm that quick reaction alert Typhoon aircraft from RAF Lossiemouth scrambled this morning, this is a live operation and therefore we will not be providing any additional information until the mission is complete.” The operation is currently "ongoing" and the type of Russian plane has not yet been confirmed. It comes

NBC plans to televise any players who refuse to stand for “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl, but there may be nothing to show. It appears that NFL players are no longer taking a knee during the national anthem, namely because none of the teams with still-active protesters has qualified for the postseason. By the end of the regular season, only five teams featured at least one player regularly sitting or kneeling on the sidelines for the anthem: the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers, the Miami Dolphins, the New York Giants and the Oakland Raiders. None of those franchises made the
Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), no doubt gearing up to run for president in 2020, became unhinged during Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday.Booker glared crazily at Nielsen as he smashed his fists in protest of President Trump’s alleged “S***hole,” comments made during a meeting with Democrats on DACA. (Photo/Tweet/Video) Daily Caller published a partial transcript of Booker’s tirade: “I hurt,” Booker cried. “When Dick Durbin called me I had tears of rage when I heard about this experience in this meeting. “For you not to feel that hurt and that pain and to dismiss
On Monday’s broadcast of CBS’ “Late Show,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) stated that President Trump can begin to prove he’s not racist or bigoted by supporting the bipartisan immigration compromise. Schumer said Trump’s comments “over and over and over again can be described as nothing but racist and obnoxious. He says he’s not a racist. Well, … I have a challenge for Donald Trump. Okay, actions speak louder than words, if you want to begin, just begin that long road back to proving you’re not a racist, you’re not bigoted, support the bipartisan compromise that three Republicans and
Ever since Donald Trump entered the political arena, his intelligence has been viciously attacked and his supporters have been labeled as moronic deplorables. In a recent Trump tweet, the president responded to the most recent attack by saying he is a stable genius. The mainstream media never bothered checking evidence of Obama´s intelligence before one historian declared him "the smartest man with the highest IQ ever to be elected to the presidency", even though his academic records were sealed. What these attacks do prove is who the real brains are and who are the dummies: Alan Dershowitz may be for real
A crazed, bug-eyed Cory Booker, junior senator from New Jersey, blasted Department of Homeland Security secretary Kristjen Nielsen during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday on immigration. Booker became so unhinged in his staged outrage that he repeatedly threatened Nielsen, with clenched fists pointed in her direction. Equal to Booker´s overt violation of Nielsen´s right to be treated without hostility and intimidation was the deranged content of his tirade. Nielsen had stated earlier she did not hear the president say the "s-hole" word at last week´s White House meeting on DACA. Booker went ballistic and accused Nielsen of covering up
From his perch in the Ohio governor’s mansion, Republican John Kasich is keeping a keen eye on President Trump’s every move and showing a willingness — some say eagerness — to hurl rotten tomatoes toward the leader of his party when he gets upset with the act.He has become a go-to anti-Trump source for the media and often doesn’t even wait for the press to call. Instead, he leaps in to pile on after presidential missteps. While insisting he wants Mr. Trump to succeed, Mr. Kasich has pointedly refused to rule out mounting a primary challenge against the president in 2020.
WASHINGTON- President Donald Trump relentlessly congratulates himself for the healthy state of the U.S. economy, with its steady growth, low unemployment, busier factories and confident consumers. But in the year since Trump´s inauguration, most analysts tend to agree on this: The economy remains essentially the same sturdy one he inherited from Barack Obama.Growth has picked up, but it´s not yet clear if it can sustain a faster expansion. Hiring and wage growth actually slowed slightly from Obama´s last year in office. Consumers and businesses are much more optimistic, but their spending has yet to move meaningfully higher. "I don´t see any
Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day,” Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the network’s chief medical correspondent, proclaimed that based on President Donald Trump’s coronary calcium scores going back to the previous decade, Trump has heart disease. Gupta’s diagnosis came a day after Trump’s doctor, Navy Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson, offered his assessment of Trump’s health at a White House press briefing. “When you look at the findings you just put up there, Alisyn — this coronary calcium score is a score a lot of cardiologists use to try and be predictive and be proactive,” Gupta said. “And if the number gets up
Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) on Monday threw his support behind former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who is reportedly weighing a Senate run in Utah. Mitt would make a phenomenal addition to the U.S. Senate. I hope he runs. https://t.co/3Vcg6txQmN — Jeb Bush (@JebBush) January 15, 2018 Bush´s endorsement on Twitter comes shortly after Romney criticized President Trump for reportedly describing African nations, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole countries" during a meeting with lawmakers on immigration reform last week.
Three-quarters of the members of a federally chartered board advising the National Park Service abruptly quit Monday night out of frustration that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke had refused to meet with them or convene a single meeting last year. The resignation of nine out of 12 National Park System Advisory Board members leaves the federal government without a functioning body to designate national historic or natural landmarks. It also underscores the extent to which federal advisory bodies have become marginalized under the Trump administration. In May 2017, Zinke suspended all outside committees while his staff reviewed their composition and work. In a
CNN´s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said Wednesday that he believes tests reveal that President Trump has heart disease. Gupta said dating back to 2009, President Trump started to have "these tests that are actually looking for the presence of calcium in the blood vessels that lead to the heart." "Steadily, up until just this past week when he had it performed again, those numbers have gone up," he said. "When they get to a certain range ... that means he has heart disease." Gupta then talked about his interaction Tuesday with President Trump´s doctor, Navy Rear Adm. Dr.
The sign at Costco explaining the jacked up price of a case of Gatorade has gone viral. (Photo/Tweet) On January 1, Seattle had several new progressive laws go into effect. Along with mandatory paid sick leave, mandates for employers to post work schedules 14 days in advance, and severe restrictions on short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.), Seattle imposed a massive new soda tax — 1.75 cents per OUNCE on sugary drinks. In response, at least one major retailer advertised in detail the reason for the significant increase in prices. Costco, famous for selling products in bulk quantities, faces especially stiff
