Judge blocks Trump administration
plan to roll back DACA

CNN, by Ariane de Vogue, Dan Berman*

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 1/10/2018 7:06:12 AM

A federal judge in California late Tuesday temporarily blocked the Trump administration´s efforts to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Judge William Alsup also said the administration must resume receiving DACA renewal applications. But the ruling is limited -- the administration does not need to process applications for those who have never before received DACA protections, he said.

Given another federal judge ruled DACA was an unconstitutional abuse of power and Obama ignored him, I presume the same response is in order.

Another effort to ignore the Constitution.

Another effort to try to make Mr. Trump´s lawful authority in these matters seemingly worthless by judges with an agenda not following the law.

The Supremes will have a look and rescind this.

The Rats are experts at many things:

Stealing taxpayer money, lying, ignoring the Constitution and any laws they choose, just for a few. And...Judge shopping. Lots of loony, leftwing judges out there to chose from, especially in California.

Since there are competing judge decisions, Trump should just choose the one he wants to listen to. If the DACA program has already been ruled unconstitutional, I don´t believe that another judge can force it to be continued.

Isn´t it grand when a chief executive usurps congressional authority, the next POTUS correctly hands the issue back to congress, and now the Judicial branch steps in to once again usurp the rule of law.

Where the heck do we live?

Tell the judge to pound sand. Ignore the irrelevent, out of bounds ruling, see what happens, it will be -- NOTHING. The judge has no authority to tell the Executive how to run something that is a pure, illegal overreach by the previous Executive.

Tough rocks, judge. You have zippo authority over what the Executive branch does within it´s perview. There is absolutely no law to be interpreted here, so no authority of the judiciary. One purely (illegal) Executive action cancelled by another Executive action. This overreach by idiot judges drunk on power needs to end. Now would be a good time.

a) FIRE this low-down-no-good-creep. Should be a done deal before lunch today
b) TERM LIMITS on all federal employees, judges included
c) time to stop treating a judicial role as being equivalent to title of nobility, something forbidden by the Constitution.
d) annual performance reviews for all judges, so bad performance (as here) means "You´re FIRED!"

These wannabe judicial dictators will keep doing this until someone has the cajones to stand up and defy them. I would like to see the confrontation between the Secret Service, US Marshals, possibly the military - and whatever posse or SWAT team this dufus sends to enforce his order. What Andrew Jackson said on the ´matter´.

Sorry, but leaving it to SCOTUS and judicial review is not an acceptable remedy. Marbury v Madison was unConstitutional, too.

If you have been paying attention there is no way that you could continue to believe that the federal courts have not been highly politicized. It is clear that there are a cabal of Clinton and Obama nominated liberal Democrat federal judges who at every turn will issue court decisions designed to sabotage or delay the Trump political agenda. Something is wrong with the system when anyone of over 650 federal judges around the country can stop the President of the USA from carrying out government operations nationwide at anytime for obvious political purposes. In this case there is a long term political aspect, directly having the potential to eventually provide the Democrats with over 800,000 future Democrat voters once the current crop of “Dreamer” illegal aliens are legalized and are eventually granted US voting rights which is the Democrat long term game plan. Then indirectly the Democrats eventually stand to pick up another couple of million additional foreign born voters, in the years ahead, after the legalized “Dreamer” illegal aliens bring millions of their foreign relatives into the USA by way of chain migration provisions that the Democrats have already inserted into the immigration laws. An amnesty for “Dreamer” illegal aliens will set a precedent for future such DACA amnesties as there has never been anything like a DACA amnesty in the past.

Senate Democrats said Thursday they had enough votes to block a GOP short-term budget deal — increasing the likelihood of a government shutdown as Friday’s midnight deadline loomed. A senior Senate Democratic aide told The Washington Post it was “almost certain” that a spending extension does not have the votes to pass the upper chamber. The Democrats want the bill to include relief for the Dreamers — immigrants brought here illegally as children and who were protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown. The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown. It’s a stunning display of political leverage for a group that, at most, numbers several million, can’t vote now, and even under the most generous proposals wouldn’t be able to cast ballots for another decade.
