For more than a year now, the media’s been trying to unseat President Trump by craftily insinuating that he colluded with Russia to win the White House. They’ve been at it without success, like Einstein’s definition of insanity – doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. In Trump’s case, the result remains the same, nada, no collusion, which raises the question – who you calling crazy? That point addresses all the hoopla sparked by former Trump aide Steve Bannon who colluded with author Michael Wolff to accuse Trump of being mentally unfit for office in the book
Like I said the Hollywood snowflakes are so desperate for a leader they would have picked the Golden Cow if it were on the Golden Globe stage. Oprah don´t feel so flattered these people are desperate they lost their God Harvey, right Meryl.
What actually WAS her message? She´s been smoozing up to Weinstein for decades!!!!!! All of a sudden she´s dissing him. So she was for him before she was against him?. I guess she has two sets of mouths!!! I never liked her from the get go years ago and I REALLY don´t like her now.
I don´t know why Oprah would diminish herself by being the President of Hollywood when she clearly is already its Pope. They hang on her every word like she is some divine seer or prophet, the perfect symbolic head for a Religion of Shamelessness or a Church of Dunces.
Donald Trump was elected with no government experience but was smart enough to hire some really savvy people. If he had hired Meryl Streep and Gayle King we would be in trouble. We don´t want to have anyone from Hollywood anywhere near the WH.
TSUNAMI warnings issued after a huge 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Alaska this morning have since been downgraded to advisories after the entire US west coast was put on alert. The quake struck 157 miles (256km) south-east of Chiniak, Alaska, at 9.31am GMT (12.31am local time) on Tuesday. People on Kodiak Island have been urged to stay away from the coast after the quake struck just 175 miles away. The quake prompted a tsunami warning for parts of Alaska and Canada and a tsunami watch for the entire US west coast, the US Tsunami Warning System said. A tsunami watch
President Donald Trump has said that he wants a ´big win for everyone´ at the negotiating table just hours after signing a bill to end the government shutdown. ´Big win for Republicans as Democrats cave on Shutdown. Now I want a big win for everyone, including Republicans, Democrats and DACA, but especially for our Great Military and Border Security,´ Trump tweeted Monday night. ´Should be able to get there. See you at the negotiating table!´ he added. The government shutdown ended earlier on Monday after the president signed a short-term spending bill that will fund the government through February 8.
A group of 16 Senate Democrats – including some with potential presidential ambitions – voted against a resolution that ended the three-day government shutdown. Many of the holdouts said they did not trust President Donald Trump to come up with a deal to help DREAMers who came to the country illegally as children. Others weren´t satisfied by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell´s statement of his intention to bring up immigration legislation within 18 weeks – in a statement that included plenty of wiggle room for the Republican. ´My concern with the three-week extension adopted today is that the Republican leadership will fail to
The 24-year-old recent college graduated appointed to a top position in the White House drug policy office has come under scrutiny after it was revealed he fudged details on the resume he submitted for the position. Taylor Weyeneth´s scanty resume was published by the Washington Post, who noted that it was not only riddled with inaccuracies, but that he was fired from his last job due to his inability to show up to work. Weyeneth was appointed as deputy chief of staff at the Office of National Drug Policy. He was appointed about a year after receiving his undergraduate degree from St
We’re not all like that, Mr. Trump Democrats proved again on Friday that they “don’t play well with others,” so like typical spoiled brats they took their marbles and went home—and shut down the United States Government. Republicans refused to play their game of Immigration Chicken. For Democrats, it’s Our Way or the Highway. They want illegals in. They want Trump out. That’s the game. We shouldn’t pick on anyone in particular, but… Dick Durbin is the kid you hated in school. When the teacher asked who threw that spitball, young Durbin raised his arm and pointed at you. Now he’s grown up. He’s
Three people have been shot in midtown Manhattan, according to officials. The victims - who have not been identified - were shot on 31st Street between 5th Avenue and Broadway at 4.45pm Sunday, according to PIX11. The shooting reportedly followed an argument and the three have non-life-threatening injuries, NBC New York reports. They were taken to Bellevue Hospital. Cops are hunting for more than one person in connection with the shooting but no one has yet been arrested.
Boris Johnson has launched a scathing attack on ´puerile and backward-looking´ Labour protesters trying to stop Donald Trump from visiting the UK. Writing in his Sunday Telegraph column, he argued it is in Britain´s national interest to welcome the leader of the world´s greatest and most powerful democracy. Johnson emphasised America is our greatest trading partner whose companies have invested £250billion and provided 1.2million jobs in the UK. He wrote: ´In 2016 the people of the United States not only elected Donald Trump; they bought £100 billion of British goods and services. That is more than twice what we sold to Germany –
A major winter storm has taken aim at the Rockies and Midwest, even as the East Coast is set to enjoy usually warm weather. Dubbed Winter Storm Jaxon by the Weather Channel, the storm had already dumped a foot of snow on Salt Lake City by noon on Saturday, and was expected to pummel Denver on Sunday. In Park City, 30 miles east of Salt Lake City, nine inches of snow fell on the Sundance Film Festival, where demonstrators huddled in the cold to protest President Donald Trump and hip hop performer Common was spotted hurling a snowball. It was not all fun
Military bosses may have deemed a £2 million hotline too costly – but they have no qualms about blowing £1.5 million on specialist consultants to advise them how to cut costs. MoD chiefs wrestling with a £20 billion budget black hole are now so concerned about balancing the books they plan to spend the much needed cash on expert advice about slashing the Armed Forces’ budget. According to plans for an MoD Efficiency Assurance Review, seen by The Mail on Sunday: ‘The MoD has undertaken significant assurance work internally over the summer of 2017 over its efficiency savings. However, the financial challenge
THE FBI and emergency services have rushed to the scene of a ‘suspicious package’ after it was discovered in a US Federal Courthouse in Wisconsin’s capital Milwaukee, it has been reported. Officials have confirmed the incident in Milwaukee where federal officers are investigating. Emergency services have also arrived at the scene with several fire service vehicles having been pictured outside. A local news helicopter has reported seeing employees standing outside of the building. It has not yet been confirmed whether the building was completely evacuated. There have also been reports of a “suspicious substance” at the scene.
AN in-depth study into the impact of Brexit has revealed that even the most basic trade deal with the EU would see the £35billion divorce bill look "like a bargain". The UK struck a "bargain" when they agreed to the £35billion divorce bill with the EU - as the economic boom after Brexit will see "the bill pay for itself". According to top-level Bloomberg economists, even the most basic free trade deal with the EU would bring in over £40billion in just three years. Brexit Secretary David Davis has been pursuing a "Canada-plus-plus-plus" deal, which would see Britain replicate the Canada-style

Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown. The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown. It’s a stunning display of political leverage for a group that, at most, numbers several million, can’t vote now, and even under the most generous proposals wouldn’t be able to cast ballots for another decade. Yet they have amassed an extraordinary amount of
It´s no secret that Mitt Romney is, in all likelihood, going to run for a Senate seat in Utah. What´s less clear, however, is why the man who was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee and is now retired and occupying an elder-statesman role in a party torn into warring factions would want to serve as a junior senator. Once elected, Romney would find himself embroiled in day-to-day congressional fights and less free to voice his criticisms of the White House, while losing some of the deference he´s been shown by members of his own party. But listen to any number of Republicans and
Malia Obama, who is studying at Harvard University, has boyfriend! But some black people on Twitter have questioned her choice in men, because Malia´s new homey, Rory Farquharson, is white. (5 tweets) This racism on the part of some in the black community, who are bruddas and sistas to us all, is very sad. Most white people want us to grow together as a community. I just wish everyone of all races felt the same way. Questions for discussion: After years of Obama´s race baiting, President Trump is the first "post-racial" president to follow him. What do you think President Trump
Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) questioned President Donald Trump’s new campaign ad saying Democrats “will be complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants” if they continued the shutdown. Ryan said, “They are certainly not helping us keep the government open. They are certainly not helping us get to a solution on immigration. When you shut down the government you stop negotiating on immigration reform. They’re complicity with not getting things done.” He added, “I’m not going to comment. I just saw that. I don’t know if that’s necessarily productive. It’s no
The Daily Caller journalist Chuck Ross has some extremely interesting information released today surrounding former top FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok and DOJ/FBI liaison attorney Lisa Page which includes a disclosure by top FBI officials that text messages between Strzok and Page have gone missing. (Snip) According to information relayed to Senator Ron Johnson, the period of time the FBI has “lost” is from December 14th, 2016 to May 17th, 2017, the exact day that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was assigned to lead the Russia collusion probe. As CTH has previously outlined the same “small group” inside the DOJ and FBI,
Investigators in both House and Senate were stunned late Friday when, receiving a batch of newly-released texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, they also received notice from the bureau that the FBI "failed to preserve" Strzok-Page messages from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017. Given the amount of texting that went on between Strzok and Page, who were having an extramarital affair, that probably meant thousands of missing documents. A number of critical events in the Trump-Russia affair occurred between December 2016 and May 2017, including: Conversations between Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey
Adam Schiff, reputedly a champion leaker from the House Intelligence Committee when it came to Russiagate material, suddenly thinks Ignorance is Bliss when it comes to the FISA warrant used to spy on the Trump campaign. Appearing on CNN, he tried to justify keep the 4 page memo that reportedly exposes the individuals who acted as part of a cabal to undermine the Trump campaign with help from NSA spying, and then pushed the “Russia collusion” conspiracy theory as part of the “insurance policy.” Americans are too ignorant, you see. Do you think Democrats are starting to panic? (Video) Rush
WASHINGTON – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called the government shutdown a “manufactured crisis” created by Democrats who want a permanent Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) fix, which he referred to as a “non-emergency” issue that does not belong in the short-term spending bill to continue federal government operations. “The one non-emergency issue our friends on the other side of the aisle are trying to shoehorn into this discussion doesn’t reach that status of emergency until March. This is pure folly. The American people know so, that´s why in a recent survey a majority said keeping the government open
You’ve got to feel for Robert Mueller. The man overseeing the special investigation into Russian election meddling is by all accounts a non-partisan straight shooter, the model image of a public-minded civil servant. Drafted to lead politically polarizing investigation, working under the beady eyes of distrustful congressional Republicans, Mueller has striven to keep his team’s conduct as unimpeachable as possible by bringing on some of America’s sharpest legal minds to check his own work and keeping public comments to a minimum. Imagine how Mueller feels, then, to have to answer so frequently for the partisans and incompetents surrounding him. The special counsel’s biggest
Calling the Trump administration’s tax reform plan a “middle-class tax increase,” two California lawmakers introduced a bill that would force large companies to fork over half of their expected savings to the state. Assemblymen Kevin McCarty and Phil Ting, both Democrats, introduced Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22, which calls for a 10 percent surcharge on companies with a net earnings over $1 million. The plan could potentially raise billions for the state´s social services programs. “It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals,” Ting said in a statement,
The Senate on Monday was set to hold a successful vote to reopen the federal government, after Senate Democrats agreed to let the bill through even though it doesn´t include immigration language they are seeking. "We will vote today to reopen the government to continue negotiating a global agreement," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on the floor. Under the bill up to be called up, the government would be fully funded through Feb. 8, and it would fund the Children´s Health Insurance Program for six years. It would also reopen the government, which has been partially closed since midnight
It has been four months since Megyn Kelly earned the wrath and ire of Jane Fonda for asking the 80-year-old actress about her plastic surgery, and the NBC host is now responding to the backlash. That moment occurred during Kelly´s third episode when she asked the Oscar-winner about what work she had done in the past, which prompted a steely Fonda to stare Kelly down and ask: ´We really want to talk about that now?´ Since then Fonda has complained about the question to a number of outlets, and even mocked Kelly´s question on Today last week during an interview
