Former Attorney General Eric Holder says Justice Department leaders should “push back” against President Trump, who contends he has an “absolute right” to run the nation’s law and order agency. Holder called Trump´s statement “dangerous” and “irresponsible,” adding that it “flies in the face" of American history. “It flies in the face of the way in which every American president, Republican and Democrat, has viewed the Justice Department,” Holder told several reporters in a Senate“It is dangerous, it is irresponsible, and it is something that I hope the people who are in the Justice Department now will push back on

Comments: As if they haven´t been pushing back and trying to stop Trump at every turn. Holder is a disgraceful lawless hack who should keep his filthy mouth shut. It´s really rich coming from him since he and his buddy Obama weaponized every agency in the government. Talk about dangerous and irresponsible!! I´m really sick of the Democrats and their contentiousness and BS.

There is one thing it does not fly in the face of, the Constitution of the United States. Something which cannot be said of Mr Holder´s viewpoint as expressed here.

This is hot stuff coming from the man who delivered the pardon to Marc Rich. Some of us have a very long memory. Eric Holder is a smug, conniving, corrupt individual: Perhaps the most dishonest AG the nation has ever had in its entire history. That´s quite an honor for the history books.

If they are "resisting" doing their jobs, they should be fired! They work for all Americans, not the president.
Holder is so partisan he doesn´t even pretend to understand what reality is.

From what? Or from where?
Trump has a hell of a lot more right to run the justice department than you do, Holder. You and Hillary should count yourselves LUCKY not to be wearing orange jumpsuits, or worse.

Holder and zero crafted the Fast & Furious "program" running guns into Mexico. Did they keep a list of the serial numbers? Put a tracker on them? Nope! Dropped that stitch in the knitting. His prez was as hands on as he could get with the Cabinet departments and agencies...all to undermine our Constitution and promote socialism. Together, they almost ruined our Republic.

The Justice Department inspector general referred its finding that former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe repeatedly misled investigators who were examining a media disclosure to the top federal prosecutor in D.C. to determine whether McCabe should be charged with a crime, according to people familiar with the matter. The referral to the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office occurred some time ago, after the inspector general concluded McCabe had lied to investigators or his own boss, then-FBI Director James B. Comey, on four occasions, three of them under oath. It was not immediately clear how the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office responded to

Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, introduced legislation Wednesday aimed at dissuading President Trump from pardoning people involved in the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. The bill, called the Abuse of Pardon Prevention Act, comes on the heels of Trump’s pardon for Scooter Libby, the former chief of staff to former Vice President Dick Cheney who was convicted of lying to the FBI and obstruction of justice. Schiff’s legislation discourages the president from pardoning a person in connection to an investigation in which the president or a family member is a target,

Journalist Mike Allen of Axios recently said that one word described Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and that word was “unafraid.” The context for his remarks on Fox News’ “Special Report” was that Mueller had just spun off to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York a bit of his limitless investigation into President Donald J. Trump. Allen’s comment was like so many others from media and pundit types since the special counsel was launched. If there’s one word to describe the media’s relationship to Mueller, it’s “unquestioning.” Pundits and politicians have said, repeatedly, that he is

Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee are pushing for a bill to protect special counsel Robert Mueller, despite a vow from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell that it won’t reach the floor for a full vote. Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley decided Thursday to delay mark up on the legislation — the Special Counsel Independence and Integrity Act — until next week. And he defended the legislation despite McConnell´s pledge to kill it. (Snip) The bill is bipartisan, co-authored by Republican Sens. Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said America owes special counsel Robert Mueller “incalculable thanks” for agreeing to lead the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Bharara, who served as the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York until Trump fired him in 2017, penned Mueller’s blurb for the annual “Time 100” list and praised his long commitment to public service. “Mueller’s buttoned-down discretion has made him an enigmatic vessel into which polarized sides pour their hopes and fears. To millions, the special counsel is either a political savior or berserk villain. He is neither,” Bharara wrote. “He’s a

He has been a lifelong Republican and said that in today’s party, the only Republican he does respect is former 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Washington - Dozens of Democratic U.S. Senators on Wednesday introduced a resolution calling for Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt to resign on allegations of ethics lapses. Those relate to the agency’s purchase of a $43,000 sound booth for his office and spending on travel and security. The resolution was signed by 39 senators in the 100-member Senate, which is controlled by Pruitt’s fellow Republicans. Although Republicans can defeat it, the resolution is symbolically important because it represents the most senators ever to call for a Cabinet member’s ouster in resolution, its sponsors said.

As president of S.F. Travel, the city’s visitors bureau, Joe D’Alessandro’s job is to promote San Francisco. You’d think he’d be hyping the city’s gorgeous vistas, top-notch restaurants and glorious museums. Instead, he’s getting honest. People injecting themselves with drugs in broad daylight, their dirty needles and other garbage strewn on the sidewalks. Tent camps. Human feces. The threatening behavior of some people who appear either mentally ill or high. Petty theft. “The streets are

Originally highlighted by the Twitter account New Real Peer Review, Ensor’s journal article explores the field of “ecosexuality,” a term which means the sexual relationship between humans and plants. Advocates in the field argue that the Earth needs to be treated with love. In addition to reducing harmful environmental practices, ecosexuals believe that humans should physically make love to the Earth.
