Exclusive: Bill Clinton sought ´solace´ in
Monica Lewinsky because he could ´no longer

healthcare reform failure, new book reveals

Bill Clinton may have cheated on his wife with Monica Lewinsky because he had lost confidence in her when she failed to pass healthcare reform, a new book suggests. (Snip) Author and former senior adviser to Congress K. Ward Cummings paints a scathing portrait of a president and a first lady who failed because ´compromise was not part of their vocabulary.´ Cummings writes that they were hampered by characteristics that would later haunt Hillary´s presidential run; their ´intense secrecy, the unhealthy nature of their personal power sharing, and their insistence on treating healthcare reform like a war in which everyone

Comments:
Of course this will not get the coverage of the latest Bannon allegations. If there is any credence in that headline it appears that Hillary has spent most of her life in a depressed state. She is always depressed about something. How many different excuses have we heard about why Clinton messed around with Lewinsky? No one other than us will say that he is just a dirty old philandering horn dog. This book is not only about Clinton but other presidents as well. Cummings also speaks negatively about Bush and Cheney.

Contd. What I find amazing is that I can´t find ANY information on the author of this book other than in the link below from Penguin books. There is no Wikipedia posting for him. I find it rather odd and disturbing that there is information anywhere that states when he served as an adviser in congress and with whom. That is certainly unusual these days. Just who is this guy? Is he a Democrat? A Republican?

Seriously? All the more despicable if he abandoned her when she was down. However, I strongly suspect there was no relationship to abandon but rather an expedient political partnership masquerading as a marriage with the obligatory flying ashtray to appear to be a normal reaction to a cheating spouse.

Baloney! He was running out on her in Arkansas. He used his state troopers to take him to his women. He was accused of rape at Oxford University and was kicked out. He was accused of sexual assault at Yale. What´s his excuse there? She knew all of that and married him anyway. Birds of a feather... We are lucky America survived those two crooks.

Their "marriage" was never about love. It was about power and ambition. If the country found out in the 80´s that the Hildebeast preferred women, she never would have made it to 2016. Bill was just cover. He needed a smart and wily "wife" to further his own ambitions while still maintaining his alley cat ways.
Gotta hand it to them. It worked for him and almost worked for her.
Poor Chelsea. She has to know all this, and that she was just a prop.

That excuse is one for the Books! Bill went after Monica because she made him feel like a Big Shot. She no doubt told him how wonderful he was (while Hillary was telling him he was a stupid, no good, Alley cat). She told him how Handsome and built up his Ego (while Hillary was tearing him down). He loved Monica because she was adventurous and willing. Hillary wasn´t! This story is as old as they come. Yes, it probably was Hillary, and her screaming at Bill that drove him out of the House, but it was BILL who made the decision to put his presidency at risk by his dalliance with an Intern! No excuse for that at all!!

It´s a good thing she didn´t get depressed over failure this time! She should have written a book and gone on a book tour last time. The nation could have been spared an impeachment, because Bill would have never dreamed of being unfaithful...were it not for Hillary´s depression.

Andrew McCabe responded to the criminal referral through a spokesman. McCabe’s spokesman said in response to the criminal referral from IG Horowitz: “We were advised of the referral within the past few weeks. Two sheriff’s deputies have been killed in Florida Thursday— gunned down in broad daylight — during a suspected ambush, according to authorities. The cops were eating at a Chinese restaurant in the city of Trenton, about 35 miles west of Gainesville, when the shooter walked up and started blasting through a window, officials said in a statement. The gunman shot both deputies dead and then took his own life. Officials said no one else was injured. The incident happened around 3 p.m. The cops involved were deputies with the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office. “As fellow deputies responded to the scene, they found the shooter

President Donald Trump is clearly James Comey’s No. 1 target in his new book, but the fired FBI director also paints a highly unflattering picture of another of his previous bosses, Rudy Giuliani. In “A Higher Loyalty,” Comey repeatedly invokes Giuliani’s craving for publicity during his tenure as New York’s most famous federal prosecutor in the 1980s, before he became mayor, and paints his flaws almost as a biblical allegory about the dangers of excessive pride and ego. “There was something of an unwritten code about working in the office of Rudy Giuliani,” Comey observed. “In his case, the message was that

Washington - Dozens of Democratic U.S. Senators on Wednesday introduced a resolution calling for Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt to resign on allegations of ethics lapses. The resolution was signed by 39 senators in the 100-member Senate, which is controlled by Pruitt’s fellow Republicans. Although Republicans can defeat it, the resolution is symbolically important because it represents the most senators ever to call for a Cabinet member’s ouster in resolution, its sponsors said.

Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama are building a swimming pool at their home in an exclusive neighborhood of Washington DC. The 44th president and his family purchased the the 8,200 sq ft mansion in the Kalorama area of the capital in 2017 for $8.1million having initially rented the property. Plans are now afoot for a new swimming pool in the grounds, according to TMZ, which says it has seen building permits. The permit application process started in January, the website reports, and there have been a number of reviews about electrics and plumbing in recent months. Last year, it

“If the Trumps were Democrats,” conservative actor James Woods tweeted earlier this month, “Melania would be on every cover of every chic women’s magazine in the world every month.” Woods may be exaggerating a little bit — only Oprah can put herself on the cover of a magazine every month, and it’s her own magazine — but he does make an interesting point. First Lady Melania Trump has not graced the cover of a single magazine in the United States since her husband took office over a year ago. Michelle Obama, on the other hand, was featured on at least thirty

University of Michigan Professor Sarah Ensor published an academic journal article this month that argues that humans should establish erotic relationships with plants. Originally highlighted by the Twitter account New Real Peer Review, Ensor’s journal article explores the field of “ecosexuality,” a term which means the sexual relationship between humans and plants. Advocates in the field argue that the Earth needs to be treated with love. In addition to reducing harmful environmental practices, ecosexuals believe that humans should physically make love to the Earth. Ensor, an English professor at the University of Michigan, begins by citing the “Ecosex Manifesto,” which

Congress may ban the slaughter of cats and dogs to sell as meat or for human consumption and punish offenses with a year in prison and a $2,500 fine. The House Committee on Agriculture approved by voice vote an amendment to the farm bill Wednesday that would make all sales of domesticated canines and felines illegal, Politico reported. “Adopting this policy signals that the United States will not tolerate the disturbing practice in our country,” California Republican Rep. Jeff Denham said in a statement as he introduced the amendment. Some believed the ban unnecessary, as eating dogs and cats is rare in the

Trump ally Roger Stone has doubled down on his criticism of Barbara Bush after calling the former first lady "a nasty drunk" following news she had died Tuesday at the age of 92. President Donald Trump’s tax cuts will be anything but for about 1 million California taxpayers who will owe Uncle Sam more money a year from now. They’re the Californians who will lose a collective $12 billion because the new law caps a deduction they have been able to take for paying their state and local taxes, according to a new analysis by the Franchise Tax Board.
