Michele Bachmann Considering
Running For Minnesota Senate
Seat To Replace Al Franken…

Conservative Treehouse, by Sundance

Former Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann appeared on Jim Baker’s broadcast last week and indicated she might possibly enter the 2018 special election Senate race open due to Al Franken’s resignation. [Video Here]Mrs. Bachmann was known as a deficit hawk and previously represented Minesota’s 6th District from 2007 to 2015. In addition to founding the Tea Party Caucus in the House of Representatives, she also ran for the 2012 presidential nomination. She is now 61-years-old. Interesting consideration. During her previous time in office she was often a target of severe sexist attacks from left-wing media pundits and Democrat opposition.

Tina Smith only sworn in to replace Franken for the remainder of his present term. Dare we hope for an elected Republican to follow?

Bachmann blew her chance when she crowed about accepting Swiss "citizenship" through her husband´s eligibility...and then backtracked when no one else thought it was cute for a "presidential candidate". IIRC, the Swiss refused to tear up her papers.

The Swiss citizenship blunder hardly disqualifies this very dedicated Godly conservative woman to run for high office again. She and her amazing family will pray about it and if she runs, Minnesota will elect her. I know Michele personally so I am prejudiced. She also supports President Trump. Minnesota is so blessed to have her.

Did Prince William call upon his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II for help smoothing things over between his father Prince Charles and his parents-in-law, Michael and Carole Middleton? That’s what Tom Bower says in his new unauthorized biography of the Prince of Wales, Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles — pages of which were excerpted in The Daily Mail on Saturday. The British investigative journalist claims that Prince Charles’ felt “usurped” by the Middeltons and “isolated” from grandchildren Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, with William and wife Kate Middleton choosing to spend Christmas with her parents rather

John Bailey, the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is under investigation for allegations of sexual harassment. The Academy received three harassment claims on Wednesday and immediately opened a probe, according to sources familiar with the situation. Bailey was elected president of the institution in August. If he were forced to step down, he would be temporarily replaced by Lois Burwell, a veteran makeup artist who is the Academy’s vice president, until the next election in July. Some House Democrats wanted Nancy Pelosi out as their leader after they failed to win a string of 2017 special elections.
