Trump Says Bannon ‘Lost His Mind’

President Donald Trump denounced his former top strategist, Steve Bannon, on Wednesday, saying that he ‘lost his mind’ after leaving the White House last summer. “When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind,” Trump said of Bannon in a statement the White House issued. “Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look.” The statement represented an emphatic break from the person considered the architect of Trump’s presidential campaign. Bannon continued to enjoy access to the president after he left the White House, but that has ended, one person familiar with the

Assuming this is not fake news...

Dana Loesch is telling Trump, I told you so.

Dana used to be the face of Breitbart before she fell out with Bannon.

I guess there is nothing to misunderstand about Trump´s statement. For the life of me I don´t know what is wrong with Bannon. It sure is mystifying. His statements are absolutely shocking and inappropriate. At one point I was impressed with his work when he was in the White House.. That is sure no longer the case.

There are many varieties of fake news. Perhaps this is the variety of a false feud to mislead somebody about something.

Doesn’t really look like it. Bannon’s statements seem irrational, Trump’s seem accurate and laser sharp. I think one would most likely be a fool to attack Trump without a REALLY good reason including a rational hope for a favorable outcome.

This quote has been picked up by all of the major news outlets, it is very likely not fake news.

Something is very wrong with Steve Bannon, my personal hunch is drugs. Drudge hates Bannon however because Bannon is very homophobic. Matt Drudge is gay. Republicans need to drop the homophobic, bible thumping rhetoric before it tears us apart.

I´m skeptical of all of this.

First, I didn´t know that Bannon had been fired. I thought it was an amicable split.

Second, I listen to Bannon every morning and evening when he is on Breitbart News Daily and Tonight. He sounds more rational and generally in good spirits than any of the Dems or their enemedia.

I´ll wait for this to play out before jumping to any conclusions. Could very well be fake news.

Everyone seems to be buying Michael Wolff´s account. Wolff needs to produce tape of the Bannon interview, for forensic analysis and scrutiny.

We are swimming in a sea of fake news, especially from never-Trump sources. Note how Roy Moore´s accusers have ´evaporated´ since the election. None of their stories withstood scrutiny. Not one of them, including Beverly Nelson´s yearbook and Leigh Corfman´s bedroom telephone. Where are they now?

We should be hearing from the principals - not third party hearsay - within the next day or two. Then let´s see where we are.

Americans can travel to North Korea, if they wish -- but it may just be a death wish, the U.S. State Department cautioned. The State Department last week issued a stark warning to people setting out for the Hermit Kingdom, cautioning that anyone heading to the dangerous dictatorship should prepare for the possibility of not returning. “The U.S. government is unable to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens in North Korea as it does not have diplomatic or consular relations with North Korea,” the State Department published Wednesday on its website. The “Gang of Six” amnesty for millions of illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program should be rolled “straight into the trash can,” Sen. Participants in a 20-nation summit on the North Korean nuclear threat have called for continued sanctions on the country, in an effort to pressure the regime to give up its rapidly advancing nuclear programme. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who participated in the one-day meeting in Vancouver, Canada, said the event sent a simple message: "We will not accept a nuclear-armed North Korea." The protests were staged in the run-up to the seventh anniversary of the ousting of President Zine El Abiding Ben Ali in 2011, an event that signaled the beginning to the Arab Spring. Most in the region are not looking back at those momentous events. Instead they are dealing with the aftereffects and many governments appear to hope that not discussing the Arab spring will mean the causes of the frustration that led to it will go away.
