Streep says scrutiny over her Weinstein
silence should be turned on Melania Trump

Washington Times, by Douglas Ernst

Actress Meryl Streep says curiosity over her silence regarding disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein should be directed at other women: First Lady Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump. The New York Times interviewed actor Tom Hanks and Ms. Streep for their upcoming movie “The Post,” but the conversation soon turned to Hollywood’s sexual misconduct scandals and the #MeToo movement. The Academy Award winning actress said that scrutiny over her muted early response is misguided. “I don’t want to hear about the silence of me,” Ms. Streep told the newspaper for an interview published Wednesday.

This movie is about the Pentagon Papers and Nixon´s "plumbers" who went out of their way to discredit Daniel Ellsberg and the Watergate "Scandal." The dRATS sycophants can´t seem to get enough of this time, when currently, we are all staring at more than one worst scandal needing immediate criminal & treasonous consideration joining the 0bamaNation and Hillary Clinton. History is written by the "winners", and the GOP seems to never want to be cast in that light. Streep doesn´t know about Weinstein misconduct in Hollyweird. Is she tone deaf to actors and film crews?

Why is that actors, Streep and DeNiro, come to mind when they have made their way to stardom based upon their unique craft and iconic films ruin it all by getting political and speak that of which they know nothing. Streep, with her earlier films was a very unique actor. She did not have the starlet looks and she could morph into any character along with her myriad of pitch perfect accents. With DeNiro, he has a striking resemblance to my own father, only my father is actually from Italy with that lyrical true Italian accent and his politics are polar opposite of DeNiro. DeNiro´s Italian/ Sicilian in the GII was a disaster (couldn´t Coppola afford a speech coach?). Again, when he was younger he performed in iconic films. With DeNiro, not so much Streep, later in life he could just ride on his name and do absolutely dreadful films. Two skills he has zero talent is comedy and crying realistically on film - method actor my back side.

With the current in the East River between Manhattan and Queens running south at about three knots and the downed helicopter lashed to a tugboat, rescue divers on Sunday night had only one option. They told the tugboat captain to cut the propellers and resigned themselves to drifting with the current as they tried to cut five passengers out of the helicopter, their bodies underwater and cinched with harnesses heavy enough to let them lean over and snap photographs of the New York City skyline. By the time the divers plucked them out, it was too late. By the time the divers plucked them out, it was too late. The five passengers —
