All of Hillary’s Foreigners
American Spectator, by George Neumayr

Original Article

The media’s cheerleaders for the investigation into the Trump-Russia fable claim that its importance lies in keeping American elections pure of foreign interference. They have been posturing as great defenders of American sovereignty, a stance that normally makes them uneasy. But even as they pretend to worry about foreign interference, they seek to sanitize an investigation that is the product of foreign interference: the Obama administration, according to increasingly desperate reports, relied on the “intelligence” of a shifting array of foreign spies and diplomats to launch its probe into Trumpworld. Such reliance is supposed to make the investigation sound more

This column makes some great points. Even better is comment from Spectator 2018. The interference with a free 2016 election by the obummer-PIAPS cabal amounted to treason. There should be scores of arrests and incarcerations, and at least 2 executions.

I also recommend the reply to Spectator 2018 by Neo Concious.

Speaking of foreign interference, does anyone else remember all of those odd amount credit card donations to Smidgen’s campaigns? Like a donation for $113.29? Which was obviously a foreign contribution where the amount reflected a currency exchange.

When Hillary and Hussein are marched to Leavenworth, I will pay any price, use any means of transportation in any weather to watch them being led to the cell block. I will periodically send her cookies and send him a generous portion of crow.

Bombshell: Simpson Admits Fusion GPS Went

As Scott noted earlier today, the House Intelligence Committee has released transcripts of its interviews with Glenn Simpson, founder of Fusion GPS and the source of the Democrats’ smear campaign against Donald Trump. I have spent considerable time reviewing the two transcripts, found here and here. I will have more to say about Simpson’s testimony tomorrow, but for the moment I want to make the following points: 1) Simpson appeared before the House Intelligence Committee, in response to a subpoena, on November 8, 2017. At that time, his lawyer indicated that he would not answer questions, but rather would invoke his

What fools (and hypocrites) these mortals be. Two decades have passed since Linda Tripp blew the whistle on sexual hijinks in high places with her tapes of Monica Lewinsky, the young intern who described to her confidant and colleague the passionate ordeal of a sexual liaison with the president of the United States. She blew the whistle, she says, to protect her friend. Twenty years on, she´s still a villain for many women who remember those times. But history´s on her side. Tripp withdrew to a private life after the scandal, and now she comes in from the cold to reappear on

Trump´s tendency to move Republicans off

President Trump reminded Republicans on Thursday how easily he could explode his party’s carefully crafted messaging strategy, signaling how difficult it will be to stay unified in the face of Democratic attacks in a challenging midterm election environment. The House ultimately approved a short-term spending package in an evening vote after Republicans fell in line. The legislation advanced to the Senate, where it faced an uncertain fate because of opposition from both parties; passage requires a supermajority of 60 votes and Democrats are vowing to filibuster. But Trump nearly upended the GOP´s whole strategy. Republicans in Congress were set to blame Democrats

It speaks volumes about the times we live in, that President Donald J. Trump is viewed as being in trouble. We have a stellar Supreme Court justice, and a record dozen judges confirmed (thanks, Mitch) to the federal appeals courts. America’s economy is roaring for the first time in a decade. Congress enacted the biggest tax reform and cuts in 31 years. Corporations responded by dispensing Christmas bonuses within days of passage, relocating plant and migrating capital back home. Business and consumer confidence has skyrocketed since Election 2016, as has the stock market. An epic repeal of burdensome regulations without

Murphy’s Law was written to describe how governments work. It was proved yet again on January 13 when an employee of the Hawaii Emergency Management System sent a cellphone alert that said, “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.” The alert was false but until it was corrected almost 40 minutes later it terrified millions of residents and tourists. Hawaii’s liberal state government didn’t fire the still unidentified employee who so richly deserved firing. Instead, it reassigned him (her?) to different duties. The left — immediately and instinctively — politicized the incident and, of

Sara Carter reports on a classified document that was released to all members of the House today. The document seems to be a compilation of information, prepared by House intelligence committee staff, relating to the anti-Trump dossier, the FBI, the warrant to conduct surveillance on members of the Trump campaign, and the use of that warrant. Carter calls the document a bombshell. Her sources say its revelations might lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, and perhaps even the criminal prosecution of some. They also say, less plausibly, that the revelations could lead to

The Los Angeles Times has given prominent coverage to recent revelations of sexual harassment of women by prominent men, particularly in entertainment and media. Yet a review by NPR finds that the newspaper´s own CEO and publisher, Ross Levinsohn, has been a defendant in two sexual harassment lawsuits and that his conduct in work settings over the past two decades has been called into question repeatedly by female colleagues. This story is based on a review of court documents, financial filings and fresh interviews with 26 former colleagues and associates. One of the most vexing problems of the Trump dossier probe has been that much of the evidence involved is classified and thus hidden from public view. House and Senate investigators are tightly constrained from revealing key aspects of the dossier affair. There is, for example, the question of whether the FBI and Justice Department used the unverified allegations in the dossier as evidence to win a secret court warrant to spy on Americans. Members and staff in both House and Senate know the answer. But it is classified, and they can´t talk. Now, the House Intelligence Committee has taken a

Negotiations over the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program are complicated, but at their most basic level involve Democrats asking Republicans to codify protections for Dreamers and Republicans asking Democrats to allocate more resources to border security in exchange for those protections. In a midterm election year where Democrats, especially in the Senate, are defending key seats in states the Republican president won last cycle, you would think funding border security — or supporting provisions on chain migration and the diversity lottery — would be a common-sense decision. But not for today´s Democratic Party. A loud and influential coalition of grassroots progressives has

Apple announced today that they plan to invest heavily in their US infrastructure, in large part because of the tax reform bill that Democrats claimed would kill people: Apple to create 20,000 jobs over the next 5 years from CNBC. The headline from Apple is that it will “contribute” $350 billion to the U.S. economy over the next five years, although it’s unclear exactly how the company came to that number. An increasing number of observers argue that President Trump is orchestrating fundamental changes to US grand strategy, dismantling the US-led international order and relinquishing America’s overseas commitments. It’s not true. Joe Scarborough recently lamented “America’s dangerous retreat from the world,” drawing a parallel to the isolationism of the inter-war period. “Under the banner of ‘America First,’?” reports Evan Osnos in The New Yorker, “President Trump is reducing US commitments abroad.” Misplaced as it is, this criticism isn’t cut from whole cloth. Last year the Trump administration abruptly withdrew from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal and the Paris Climate Accord, and has also approved

Microwaves are as damaging to the environment as cars and users must be taught how to cook more efficiently, scientists say. Researchers say they are fueling global warming with consumers overcooking food to blame. Microwaves account for the largest percentage of sales of all types of oven in the EU, with numbers set to reach 135 million by 2020.
