Get a pencil: California marijuana-
tracking system not used

Associated Press, by Brian Melley and Kathleen Ronayne

LOS ANGELES — California´s legal pot economy was supposed to operate under the umbrella of a vast computerized system to track marijuana from seed to storefronts, ensuring that plants are followed throughout the supply chain and don´t drift into the black market. But recreational cannabis sales began this week without the computer system in use for pot businesses. Instead, they are being asked to document sales and transfers of pot manually, using paper invoices or shipping manifests. That raises the potential that an unknown amount of weed will continue slipping into the illicit market, as it has for years. For the

All the red tape, regulations, taxes, and confusion by CA´s government may just turn pot users into conservative Republicans.

I will guess it will be September 2018 when the cartels have effectively taken over California - and the criminal influence will begin toppling neighboring states like dominoes. There will be no real law or law enforcement effort in California - all cartel directed crime including illegal alien smuggling to other states, drug running and theft rings will metastasize. To win more supporters to the cartel "cause" Black Lives Matters, La Raza, and Mexican Mafia will be embraced, property will be seized under color of law. Sounds bad, eh? Just watch.

It will never be a source of any substantial tax collection by the government,dude....

In 30000000 years, Los Angeles will be where San Francisco currently squats.

Meanwhile, there´s what´s happening now.

You must always check the date on news stories popping up on Facebook. It’s embarrassing to register shock — James Garner dead? Oh no! — only to be informed that he passed away in 2014. So a week ago, when I noticed a CNN report headlined “Nation of Islam leader Farrakhan delivers anti-Semitic speech,” the first thing I did was see whether he delivered the speech in 2012 or 2002. I mean, talk about an evergreen headline, right? Feb. 25, 2018. Nation of Islam Saviours’ Day. In Chicago. Prompting me to then wonder if the local papers covered it. Nope.

The latest reminder came this week as party leaders failed to agree on how to reduce the influence of so-called "superdelegates" in picking Democrats´ next White House nominee. That class of party leaders — Democratic National Committee members, elected officials and others — overwhelmingly favored Clinton two years ago, inflaming Sanders backers who accused Democratic power players of stacking the deck.
