NY Times sides with Iranian

Washington Times, by Larry O´Connor

We have an early front-runner for the 2018 Walter Duranty Award for propping up evil regimes by repeating authoritarian propaganda. Fittingly, the dubious distinction belongs to a writer for Duranty’s alma mater, the New York Times. After a dozen protesters were murdered in Tehran by the Iran’s authoritarian regime the Times filed an on-the-scene report from their man in Tehran, Thomas Erdbrink. The article’s lede and accompanying tweet read like a press release from the Ayatollah’s publicist: (Tweet- New York Times) Ignoring pleas for calm from President Hassan Rouhani, Iranian protesters took to the streets in several

Once again, the Old Gray Lady sides with what is EVIL in the world and a clear and present danger to Israel and the Middle East. I´m referring to those currently in power in Iran. as I predicted earlier, our "fake news" media is joining Iran in making the "protesters" the bad guys. That makes it easier for them to be murdered, like China did in Tienanmen Square and Venezuela does when they occur.

What is it with these Leftists? They must be just about the most evil people on the face of this planet. In some circles, that makes them demons. Anyone who thinks of themselves as Liberal or left of center has got to have a serious mental condition that is so self destructive they are not only a danger to themselves, but also a danger to others. These people would not be tolerated in civil society only 75 years ago.

When things hit the fan, reporters on the ground have to toe the party line. Therefore, we need to read between the lines to see what they are actually reporting, while ignoring the pro-regime garbage.

I would follow my own advice, but I don´t read the NY Times any more.

I think the New York Times is still in love with Barack Obama. It´s the only explanation I have for agreeing one hundred percent with what someone does or has done even though the actions defy everything logical, decent and good in the world. I hope they get over the affair soon or they will soon die of grief.

Trump stands for freedom loving people in the US so the NYT and fellow socialist travelers stand against him.

Trump stands for the freedom seeking people of Iran so the NYT stands against that.

They care not who gets killed in the crossfire, they just stand against Trump and the people who elected him.

These people stood by while thousands of Christians and Jews were murdered the eight years of Obama.

Thousands of eager fans flocked to Windsor Castle this morning to witness the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. On Saturday morning, during the highly-anticipated wedding of the year, the "Harry Potter" author tweeted out a picture of the Windsor wedding crowd and placed it beside a photo of the crowd at Donald Trump´s inauguration in Washington, D.C. The images of royal weddings are some of the most glamorous in our history books. But the events also have a real sticking power, be it in the memories of those who watched a day unfold or as an opulent footnote to an otherwise dreary history lesson. (Snip) There is one unifying factor: In each case, excited crowds watch two people whose personalities have been deliberately obscured, hidden behind a veil of pomp and propriety. What is it about these fairy tale occasions, filled with pageantry and splendor, that so captures the modern imagination? Perhaps it’s those very ingredients. Here are some images of royal weddings

Octopuses are aliens. That’s the claim being made by a team of 33 researchers published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. They are not referring to aliens in a metaphorical sense, but literal aliens from outer space. Since the paper was released on Sunday, a trickle of news coverage has turned into a torrent, with increasingly alarming headlines about octopuses and their extra-terrestrial origins. It will not come as a surprise to many to learn that these claims have been roundly mocked by the scientific community, who have branded the paper – published in Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology – as ridiculous and unscientific.

House conservatives killed a farm subsidy bill that would have imposed work requirements on food stamp recipients because they didn’t get their way on tough immigration reform. The House Freedom Caucus’ fit of pique was a huge embarrassment to House Speaker Paul Ryan and a bitter pill for other GOP lawmakers who hail from agricultural states. The 213-198 vote killed the work and job training requirements, which were popular with President Trump’s base. But it also delayed farm subsidies, pork barrel cash that Republican lawmakers crave. Ryan took steps to call for a revote in the future but it’s not clear when the measure

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.
