CDC: Black men better
fathers than white men

American Thinker, by Ed Straker

Original Article

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which I affectionately refer to as the Diseased Centers of Control, have conducted a study showing that black men make better parents than white men. The study, conducted in 2013, came to light in a recent Washington Post article on the Post´s favorite topic – you guessed it! – of racism. The study was conducted by the CDC´s Division of Vital Statistics, centering on how involved fathers are in the lives of their children. It found the following: 1) Thirty-five percent of white fathers who don´t live with their children do not eat meals

After enumerating in bullet point fashion the points the CDC comes up with, Straker plants his tongue firmly in his cheek and lists, in similar fashion, how these deficiencies in white fathering might be mitigated.

The saving grace of the report could be that black mothers work, sometimes 2 jobs while the fathers do not work even one. Maybe this is only evident where I live.

Well there goes any credibility the CDC had.

You can believe what you see and experience daily or the CDC issued ´report´.

Maybe it´s from one of those over-educated (no common sense) academics that doesn´t know April Fools Day is April 1st - Not Jan 1st.

#10 makes a good point.

The methodology the CDC used is suspect because the universe of black men not in prison and agree to be polled may be VERY small.

CDC defines ´better fathers´ as males who fertilize a female, then leave.

Example: Desmond Hatchett, 33, of Knoxville, Tennessee (photo shows he is black) who fathered 30 kids with 11 different women...... then asked the Courts for relief from having to pay so much child support.

link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2146545/Man-fathered-30-kids-11-different-women-says-needs-break--child-support.html

.....Or the article about the Desmond and two others of his ilk (not mentioned in the article, but photos show they are all blacks) whose sperm produced EIGHTY ONE children with FORTY SIX different women..... and are paying NO child support to ANY of them.

Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2159476/Tennessees-deadbeat-dads-The-men-81-children-46-different-women--theyre-paying-child-support-them.html

Overall the black rate of illegitimacy is what.... 77%?

I would guess that Black men don´t beat their children as much as White men. Mainly because if they started to hit one of their kids, a prison guard would stop them.

The CDC´s racially tagged conclusions may be based on self-selecting "polls" that are the complete opposite of randomly sampled polls. As such, they are not worth the paper they´re written on.

In any case, why is the CDC engaging in identity politics? Diseases don´t know identity.

The good news for us conservatives and Republicans -- even in California -- is that the progressive Democrats are not anywhere near as smart as they tell us they are. Some learned and accomplished folks, who deservedly command a great deal of respect and admiration, view the Trump presidency in an entirely different light from what millions of Americans see. To these sage and wizened critics, the president´s persona outweighs his achievements; his flaws overwhelm his strengths and, by extension, hamstring his ability to move an agenda forward. I believe that those harboring an anti-Trump mindset would do well to consider that the election of Trump was never about the man – it was not the "cult of personality" that the major media and the establishment Republicans portrayed it to be, but

According to Representative Dave Joyce (R-OH14) the House Intelligence Committee will hold a vote on the release of the four-page Nunes memo that reveals systemic corruption within the DOJ and FBI; including the unlawful use of FISA-702(16)(17) data searches which were part of an elaborate DOJ-FBI surveillance program on the political campaign of Donald Trump. (Tweet) Additionally, Chad Pergram reported that Chairman Devin Nunes met with Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte to discuss the best process to release the memo. Adam Schiff, reputedly a champion leaker from the House Intelligence Committee when it came to Russiagate material, suddenly thinks Ignorance is Bliss when it comes to the FISA warrant used to spy on the Trump campaign. Appearing on CNN, he tried to justify keep the 4 page memo that reportedly exposes the individuals who acted as part of a cabal to undermine the Trump campaign with help from NSA spying, and then pushed the “Russia collusion” conspiracy theory as part of the “insurance policy.” Americans are too ignorant, you see. Welcome to what’s arguably the nation’s largest infrastructure project and California’s biggest boondoggle. The highly hyped bullet train has been a challenge from the start. No one thought it would be technically, financially and politically easy, but the way the project has been mishandled has some Californians fed up and demanding answers.
