Failed before It Began: The Great
Sexual Harassment Revolution

American Thinker, by J.R. Dunn

Original Article

The great Sexual Harassment Panic of 2017 is at last dying down. (snip) But what exactly has changed? Earthquakes are noted for massive and universal destruction, revolutions for the guillotine and the firing squad. In fact, a cursory examination of the scene reveals...absolutely nothing. We stand at the same point we were at before it all happened. A large number of creeps have been outed and ejected, and that´s generally a good thing. These were all trash – Harvey Weinstein, Al Franken, Garrison Keillor, John Conyers. They will not be missed. They should have been nailed a long time ago, and they

I think it will continue to be beneficial. I know that there are men in a position of power who are sweating bullets over their past transgressions this morning. That´s a good thing. The women they took advantage of spent many sleepless nights, and now it is their turn.
At the very least, the intelligent men will now shop for women outside their company. Obviously, they will have to work harder, but the smart ones value their career.
The shrewd companies will return to the "no dating inside the company" policy. If a woman or man chooses to quit their job to date a co-worker, then you know it is not a forced situation.

This will be dragged out when needed for political advantage when the is an election or a way to clear the ballot for a weak Democrat to win. The Allred bus will continue to roll.

What´s changed is that male bosses will now be very reluctant to hire women, mentor women or take women into their confidence in closed-door meetings. The glass ceiling just became an iron door. Thanks, feminists!

BTW, while I agree that Garrison Keillor is a jackass in many ways, I still don´t know what he allegedly did in the way of sexual harassment to spark the ridiculous overreaction of imposing non-personhood by public radio. That includes changing the title of "A Prairie Home Companion," even though it´s their most popular show, the title doesn´t include his name and he´s no longer even on it.

FTA:"Men who brutalize women are psychically twisted. Unless physically restrained, they are not going to stop."

As the old structures of respect and restraint are destroyed by the left, and fewer men have the spine to step up and protect them, the alternative is for young women to be trained and armed. A small handgun, used by a resolute woman if the situation demands it, is one of the best alternatives, when beta males won´t step up and the thugs get out of hand.
As civilization is disassembled, one more and more has exactly as much security as you brought with you. It is unfortunate, but denial is a very poor plan.

The things that I find a little bit suspect is the avalanche a claims by numerous women following the Weinstein revelations against so many men from so many different type of careers. The one commonality is that the accused are all famous and wealthy.

I do not mean to doubt any claims as I gather it must have taken the courage of steel to go up against so many titans. However, the allegations are absent of any important details. Not that the alleged victims are required to divulge details but the more specific facts that support claims the more credible the accusation.

On the other hand, the ADAs may have directed the accusers to keep silent until settlement and/or trial.

If proven to be true, I hope the victims from sexual harassment all the way to rape go after these monsters both criminally and civilly. Money, reputation and liberty are the only currency Hollywood, Wall Street and DC understand. If found true strip them of all three.

Three weeks after college, I flew to Senegal, West Africa, to run a community center in a rural town. Life was placid, with no danger, except to your health. That danger was considerable, because it was, in the words of the Peace Corps doctor, "a fecalized environment." In plain English: s--- is everywhere. The Democrats and their media allies did everything they could to defeat Trump´s tax cuts and reforms. They continually lied to the public in a bid to make them believe that less than half of the taxpayers would actually get cuts and that the bill was meant to benefit only big, rich corporations. Therefore, we got all sorts of articles, obviously fed to journalists by left-wing think-tanks and Democratic politicos, claiming that the tax cuts aren´t good or aren´t performing as promised. So, two weeks into a ten-year program, we are now hearing whining that all the promises of the broad-based

An excellent op-ed in the LA Times today by Kerry Jackson on why California - with its liberal politics and generous welfare system - is the "poverty capital of America." (snip) From 1992 to 2015, state and local governments spent nearly $1 trillion to help the poor. The state, with 12% of the American population, is home today to about one in three of the nation’s welfare recipients. Jackson then reaches the not so astonishing conclusion: "The generous spending, then, has not only failed to decrease poverty; it actually seems to have made it worse." One of the big reasons for this

Our first step in responding to the fake news firestorm about what Trump did or didn´t say about some African countries is to figure out what Trump actually said. Two leakers say he used the term "s---holes" to describe Haiti and African countries. However, the only person corroborating that as this is being written is a Democrat. Given that Harry Reid gleefully admitted to lying about Mitt Romney not paying taxes, it´s not irrational to question that Democrat´s veracity. We also know that the leakers were willing to hurt the U.S. in order to gain a partisan political advantage. The leakers knew

Note to Fusion GPS: If you´re going to mouth off to the media and ignore the public record, you´d better be prepared to have your confidential documents subpoenaed. That´s the takeaway from last week´s ruling by Judge Richard J. Leon, district court judge from the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, denying Fusion GPS´s request for a preliminary injunction against TD Bank. The injunction would have stopped the bank from complying with a subpoena for bank documents served by the House Intelligence Committee relating to the oppo research firm´s financial transactions with media and political clients from the period

It´s a shocking claim made by a political insider: the Deep State is so opposed to draining the swamp that it will, if necessary, kill President Trump to prevent it. Roger Stone, a longtime Trump adviser and confidant, certainly knows his way around Washington, having worked as a senior campaign aide to Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Senator Bob Dole as well as having held many other political positions. This proximity to the Deep State is what makes his claim, expressed in a recent wide-ranging interview with The New American magazine´s Alex Newman, that much more eyebrow-raising.
