House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is blasting the Department of Justice and FBI after officials ignored congressional subpoenas and blew threw a deadline to turn over documents related to the infamous Fusion GPS dossier. In a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Nunes points out that not only did DOJ mislead his Committee about the existense of documents, they also unlawfully failed to comply with congressional requests. "Several weeks ago, DOJ informed the Committee that the basic investigatory documents demanded by the subpoenas, FBI Form FD-302 interview summaries, did not exist. Is Alleged Attorney General Sessions aware that he´s the head of the DOJ and needs to clean out his septic tank of an organization or has he just completely recused himself of everything except his paycheck?

I´m at the point I want Trump to have them arrested, investigated, and shoot the wrong doers for treason.

There´s gotta be someone in DOJ, FBI, or CIA that aren´t partisan hacks.

If not, martial law, clean em out and start over. Enough, already.

Holder was held in contempt with no consequences. Who will prosecute Rosenstein et al, the DOJ itself? It´s an empty gesture. Nothing will come of holding him in contempt. Fire him, POTUS.

Congress has virtually no power to prosecute. They are an investigative body If-----? someone agrees to be investigated.

It´s time to indict and seat a plethora of grand juries. We have new judges and there are plenty of attorneys that would jump at the chance to prosecute!

I realize that 2017 was a long time ago, but I can still recall a fellow named Sessions taking an oath to enforce the laws of the federal government. Perhaps that was for his job as AG or possibly as head of ICE or the National Park Service. It was so long ago that I can´t remember who is Attorney General in the Trump Administration.

If readers can recall who, if anyone, replaced the stunningly partisan and corrupt Loretta Lynch as AG, please drop a note.

Has DC declared itself to be a Sanctuary City where crooked politicians go to commit high crimes and acts of treason? Certainly appears that way to the average American living under the thumb of a government so corrupted it cannot police itself. The natives out in the hinderlands are getting restless when they see no one held accountable for the criminality that is running rampant among the pampered political class. Please explain to us why we should continue to pay taxes to enable the corrupt to live the high life and enjoy fine pensions and health care. Our patience is being stretched to the breaking point.

It´s very dangerous to lay down a Red Line. If you´re going to do it, you better have a plan B for that Line being ignored or you look like a Fool! Nunes sent these subpoenas out in August. Jeesh! Here we are in January and NOW he wants them to set up dates for Interviews. How about giving them 24 hours! Submit those documents or you will be picked up and taken to JAIL until you produce them! Right now they´re making a Laughing Stock of Nunes! Nobody is afraid of him! He needs to do SOMETHING to prove he means business!!

Something has to start breaking loose soon on this, or I think Trump will weigh in even more with Sessions. I still for the life of me wonder why Sessions is not making Rosenstein give up the documents. Congress has the legal right to have them. Sessions doesnt have to be involved but he certainly has the obligation to force Rosenstein to follow the law!

Perhaps the rest of you were way ahead of me in reaching this conclusion but I think blackmail is at the root of much that otherwise doesn´t make sense. It seems that every glimmer of hope is extinguished from Chaffetz to Gowdy. Why does an entity such as Fusion GPS exist? How many such firms exist? And we also now know that if nothing of substance exists in an opponent´s background that´s a minor issue, something will be made up, paying for false accusations, false dossiers, you name it.

I have been wondering for ages-- and I would have thought basic journalism 101 would require newspeople to include this info in any story dealing with contempt of Congress--what the penalty is for such a designation. It appears that the maximum penalty is $1000 and 1 year in jail. Not much, but it´s a start-- when will Eric Holder be paying his fine and serving his sentence ?

#21- Quite likely many others share the suspicion of blackmail—blackmail using leverages such as threats of disclosing personal and/or family skeletons in the closet, and/or threats of future harm to anyone (including family members) daring to expose and/or adjudicate criminal charges. While holding office, there may be government protective services; however, upon departure, such protection may become an individual’s personal responsibility. President Trump is to be admired/respected for many reasons, not the least of which is his courage in exposing/standing up to criminal activity within the government. May God send His holy angels to surround/protect him and his family.

Since Congress is all kabuki theater, I think there are other reasons for not meeting these deadlines: 1) It wouldn´t amount to a hill of beans even if they DID, and 2) doing so would allow someone in Congress to alert the wrongdoers so they can CYA or fly the coop.

In other words, I think justice is coming from somewhere besides Congress, so why give Congress/the enemy the ammunition to fight back?

And I´m not on the bash-Sessions train for a number of reasons. Although Trump has expressed some disappointment with Sessions, what he has said is ambiguous. He´s never come out and said he wanted him gone. That leads me to look at Trump´s actions. His ACTIONS indicate that Sessions is doing exactly what Trump wants. Otherwise, Trump would have fired him (and all arguments saying he couldn´t are ridiculous, in my opinion).

And lastly, this is an all out war and the stakes for Trump are WAAAY to high for Trump to be dilly-dallying around with an unreliable Attorney General. You DO NOT leave an enemy in such an important position when yours and your family´s lives are at stake!!

Democrats are trying out several themes against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, so far with a notable lack of success. One frequent attack is that President Trump appointed Judge Kavanaugh to save him in a constitutional showdown with special counsel Robert Mueller. On Friday — three days before today’s summit meeting between President Trump and Russian President Putin — the boss of Team Mueller, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, announced that a dozen Russian intelligence officers had been indicted on charges relating to Russia’s attempt to interfere in the 2016 election. These Potemkin indictments could have been announced a month earlier or a month later. Instead they were obviously timed and intended to have an effect on the Trump-Putin meeting. Mueller has no business playing around with foreign policy. The Friday indictments were a truly despicable abuse of power. Last February, Mueller conducted a

Hamas’ recent tactic of launching fire kites and balloons over the border from Gaza marks something new: ecological war. Why aren’t the world’s greens screaming at this “assault on the planet”? Since the end of March, Hamas-spurred terrorists have flown hundreds of Molotov cocktails and improvised firebombs into Israel, setting aflame thousands of acres of farmland, forests and nature preserves. The damage to Israeli agriculture is said to be in the millions, and a drop in tourism dollars compounds that. The cost of fighting the fires, too, is enormous, not to mention the stress on locals.

The effort is an example of public-relations ´astroturfing,´ a technique meant to simulate genuine grassroots support for an idea or cause. Meghan Markle‘s smile is hiding fear, stress and the pressure of adjusting to her new royal duties, her father said in an interview published Sunday. “I think she is terrified,” Thomas Markle told The Sun. “I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile.” “I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now,” he added. “This is a pained smile.”The newly-minted Duchess of Sussex, 36, is struggling to cope with the transition from TV actress to a member of the royal

The man who co-wrote “The Art of the Deal” said Sunday he believes President Trump’s faculties are diminishing — and that he feels obligated to sound the alarm. “We are in a true emergency,” Tony Schwartz said on CNN Sunday. “And the accelerated rate at which his breakdown or decompensation is occurring is cause for us, and certainly for me, to come on to TV more often, to tweet more often.” Schwartz told CNN’s Brian Stelter that he felt comfortable making that assessment because he had “spent an enormous time with [Trump] over a period of 18 months.”(snip)Stelter pointed out that Schwartz

Whether Democrats realize it or not, the names being tossed as potential 2020 challengers to President Trump are weak. It’s milquetoast. All far too left for the American voter, and all with rigid regional appeal. Who knows who Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is outside of New Jersey? The same could be said for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) doesn’t resonate outside of the Boston suburbs. And Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), well, she’s working hard to boost her profile, but she’s running aground with the Bernie crowd. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) could run again, but his age—and the

San Francisco Mayor London Breed said the streets of her city are flooded with the excrement of the homeless in an interview Friday. Breed, a Democrat who was inaugurated as San Francisco’s mayor Wednesday, urged homeless advocacy groups that receive money from the city to teach homeless people to “clean up after themselves.” “There is more feces on the sidewalks than I’ve ever seen growing up here,” Breed told KNTV. “That is a huge problem and we are not just talking about from dogs — we’re talking about from humans.” The streets of San Francisco are littered with a “dangerous

President Donald Trump’s comments during a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday were “treasonous,” former CIA Director John Brennan asserted. “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors,’” Brennan, a vocal Trump critic, wrote on Twitter. “It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???” Trump and Putin fielded questions from reporters at a joint summit in Helsinki following a one-on-one meeting earlier in the day. Trump praised Putin during

Watching FBI agent Peter Strzok battle with Congress, my initial reaction was pure anger. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad. Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted. Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of

Represented in Congress by Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and run for years by almost all Democrats, San Francisco should be a mecca for the left. But the city is fast becoming one of the worst places in the U.S. to live. The homeless problem is out of control. Experts say it “could exceed some of the dirtiest slums in the world.” There are around 7,500 homeless people in the city. Human feces is strewn across public areas. The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit examined over 150 blocks of downtown San Francisco and found 96 blocks littered with feces. San Francisco’s new
