And immediately after receiving the first 911 call, before dispatching emergency units to the scene, the police issued a statement which said, "This has nothing to do with terrorists, or Muslims, or blacks."

One must assume that the reason the Daily Express [UK] didn´t supply any real information in the article is because they don´t HAVE any actual information about the event.

Bill Clinton called on political leaders to remember ´our common humanity´ in a thinly-veiled attack on Donald Trump as he spoke to the NAACP´s convention in San Antonio last night. The 42nd President called for humanity at a time ´when voting rights, when family security and the best interests of children, when the bonds of our neighbors and the friendships of our oldest allies are being strained.´ He did not mention Trump by name but his comments were a clear reference to the President´s family separation policy and his recent confrontations in foreign affairs which saw him refer to the European Union

President Donald Trump contradicted U.S. intelligence agencies again on Wednesday, saying that Russia was not still targeting the United States, and accused his critics of being deranged. The day after he tried to quiet a political uproar over his failure to confront Russian President Vladimir Putin during their Helsinki summit for Moscow’s 2016 U.S. election meddling, Trump adopted his usual defiant posture and dismissed assessments of Russia from the intelligence community. “We’re doing very well, probably as well as anybody has ever done with Russia. And there’s been no president ever as tough as I have been on Russia,” Trump said

President Donald Trump said today at a meeting with his cabinet that Russia was not still targeting the U.S. – following a dire warning from his Intelligence chief that the Russian threat was flashing red. Trump was asked about the election threat during a brief press statement where he said no president had ´ever´ been as tough on Russia as him. ´Is Russia still targeting the U.S.,´ asked a pool reporter who was with him in the Oval Office. ´No,´ Trump responded, shaking his head.

BUDAPEST - Hungary will quit the United Nations migration pact before its final approval, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Wednesday, adding that the accord posed a “threat to the world”. “This document is entirely against Hungary’s security interests,” Szijjarto told a news conference. The accord is to be formally adopted in December, but Hungary will not take part at the Morocco meeting, Szijjarto said, adding that the country would also oppose the pact should it come up for a vote in the General Assembly.

This is the heartwarming moment a cyclist rescued an injured stray dog and brought it with him into a town where it met its new owners. Jarrett Little was cycling on the outskirts of Columbus, Georgia, with a group of friends on Thursday when they stopped by the side of the road for a break. The dog, which has since been affectionately named Columbo after the town where he was found, crept timidly out of the woods to make himself known to them. After noticing his bleeding leg and thin bones, Little hoisted him on to his back to cycle
