Why Americans just

CNN, by Issac Bailey

Two seemingly contradictory recent Gallup Poll findings sum up what it means to be a woman in the United States who dares to go where only men have gone before: Americans love to think of talented, ambitious women who have overcome obstacles — but the reality of a woman assuming a position of power, particularly over men? That´s not welcome. According to a Gallup finding in early December, Hillary Clinton´s favorability rating has never been lower, having fallen to 36%, more than a year after she lost the presidency to a man who had no discernible skills for the job. But in another Gallup Poll, just a few weeks

Oh, America has been trying their best to quit her. But she is America´s crazy ex-girlfriend, constantly showing up uninvited to parties and workplaces and sending dead flowers to assorted people when they don´t pay her any attention!! The Looney heifer needs a straightjacket and a padded room, NOT any more media fawning and butt kissing!!!

I haven´t had any problem forgetting about Hillary Clinton. Yeah, I´d like her to spend the rest of her life behind bars, but I guess I need to let go of that and let the Guy upstairs deal with that, because that´s not at my pay grade.

Mr. Isaac, your analysis skipped over some important facts about Lady Lucifer.
She may go to prison overthe Uranium One deal.
She sold access to her office, for Clinton Foundation contributions/shakedowns.
She violated national security with her homebrew server.
She allowed her paramour, Huma Abedin, to forward emails to Huma´s pervert husband´s computer.
And as the full story of her dealings during the 2016 election unfolds, she may get busted for campaign violations.
Then there is the matter of Chelsea´s 10 million dollar wedding, paid for, according to Hillary´´s staffer, by the Clinton Foundation. And that would be a felony.

I have to say, Mr. Isaac, that I pity your students at Davidson College, if this column represents your best attempt at journalism.

For all the high-minded argument this is a very shallow essay.

The "most admired" survey is really an empty measure of name recognition more than anything else, so when you try to conjure up maybe ten competing women in that regard you see Hillary´s advantage.

(And the details of the "most admired" survey are worth inspecting, also. Her % has declined sharply over the last five years shown [link in the CNN piece]:

http://news.gallup.com/poll/224672/barack-obama-hillary-clinton-retain-admired-titles.aspx

and she now gets 9% of the tally to Michelle Obama´s 7.)

BTW, another name pops up on the list of admired women, for the first time last year and this at 1%: Nikki Haley. I think someday she´ll be our first female president. I look forward to Isaac Bailey´s commentary.

What ´discernable skills´ did Shrillary have for the job? She was a disaster as Senator of NY. Upstate they are still waiting for her promised jobs. She certainly showed she was totally incapable of handling Benghazi. She was unable to handle ´devices´. The Russians, the Chinese, Isis, they all could read her unprotected emails. She did not even know how to clean them, ´with a cloth´??? But she did know who to call and who to blackmail for all her dirty work and how to destroy it!

Most of American desperately wants to quit Hillary Clinton. We had an election that proved it.

The last election proved that most polls are done and paid for by people who wish to see a predetermined result. Polls can be skewed by simple tricks such as over sampling a Zip Code that is weighted heavily in a particular demographic that will give you the result you want.
Look at a election map. What do you see compared with the results of polls?
It is just that easy.

I understand that liberals live in a mental lock box which requires that they must step carefully and stay within the thin closely defined liberal line regarding all things political, however it is still astonishing how ignorant a person would have to be to not have it occur to them that responsible citizens might have sound reasons for not voting for Hillary Clinton for any political office, reasons having nothing to do with her sex.

That is about faulty powers of discernment, Isaac. Ignorant persons, steeped in bias, have little to work with in that department.

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is appealing a judge´s decision to jail him over charges that he attempted to tamper with the testimony of two potential witnesses against him. Ten days after U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson revoked Manafort´s house arrest and ordered him jailed, his defense attorneys filed an official notice Monday appealing her ruling to the D.C. Manafort´s defense team also filed another appeal Monday over a decision Jackson issued nearly two months ago tossing out a civil suit Manafort hoped to use to block any further prosecutions of him by

Orlando, FL - Apollo 11 moonwalker Buzz Aldrin is suing two of his children and a former business manager, accusing them of misusing his credit cards, transferring money from an account and slandering him by saying he has dementia. In the past, the agency says, many parents have elected to be deported without their children. That may be a reflection of violence or persecution they face in their home countries. The boycott-Trump movement has resurged. Shannon Coulter, a brand and digital strategist, started the #GrabYourWallet hashtag in October 2016 to encourage people seeking a way to take concrete action against Donald Trump to boycott companies — large and small — that do business with his family. As a result, brands such as Nordstrom, Jet.com, and Gilt dropped Ivanka Trump´s fashion line last year. While Coulter has remained steadfast in her quest to encourage the other 62 retailers, nonprofits, and even a movie produced by Harvey Weinstein to ditch Trump products, the issue has peaked once more among consumers and

The Chronicle receives a deluge of email every day, but one message sent to the news desk on a Saturday evening in April was particularly memorable. “There is a suitcase full of human s— on the corner of Isis and 13th,” the email read. “Last night, I had to threaten violence to a man smoking crystal meth on my front porch. This morning, my 2-year-old son and I watched a rat rummage through the trash in our gutter. “Things have been getting worse and worse on my block since 2010, and the city does NOTHING to fix it,” the angry

It´s come to this: according to some, people should be picking their casual dining choices based on their politics. NPR published an opinion piece by writer Monique Truong that claims in the headline that it is "hypocrisy" for administration members who support President Trump´s way of handling the long-ignored border crisis to eat at Mexican restaurants. These are people who work for the president, of course, so they are essentially being taken to task for doing their jobs. Truong considers recent forays to Mexican food dining establishments by administration policy adviser Stephen Miller and

Rep. Barbara Lee, California Democrat, accused the Trump administration Sunday of “criminalizing” illegal immigrants. Ms. Lee, who joined a congressional delegation that visited intake and detention facilities Saturday near the border in Texas, described the conditions as “tragic.” “I mean, these people are being criminalized,” said Ms. Lee on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We went into the processing center, where there are cages, certainly. People think there aren’t, there are, we saw these cages.” At the detention center, she said, “we talked to maybe 10 or 15 mothers. These are jails. These are prisons. These are people
