NASA´s Rubber Ruler: An Update
American Thinker, by Randall Hoven

The NASA/GISS temperature record is not actually a record of recorded temperatures. It is simply the most recent version of NASA´s adjustments to older adjustments. It is not thermometer readings. It is models all the way down. (snip) Apparently, the Earth is getting warmer faster than it was five and a half years ago, but not because of actual recorded thermometer readings in those last five and a half years. It is getting warmer faster because NASA adjusted the data to show faster warming. When you go to the NASA website, you can download temperature anomalies "1880-present." But those data change

It must be the result of their muslim outreach program. When you spend a lot of time in the 120-140 degree temperatures of the Middle East trying to make friends, you might imagine that it´s that hot everywhere. The below-zero period we are experiencing in the US now simply does not exist.

Let the record reflect the fact that I have been posting, for years, about government adjustment of temperatures because of geographical changes around airports, where temperatures have historically been recorded.
(Erie, Pa International Airport, named Tom Ridge airport)) when first constructed in the early 20th century, was surrounded by farms. Now it is surrounded by housing developments, roads, businesses. The tarmac is concrete, as opposed to grass when it was first built.
Therefore, temperatures, over the years, would have been higher as development of the area increased.
This is so painfully simple, it makes my head ache when ´global warming´ is discussed.
NASA should be banned from messing with temps on any date prior to its inception as a government agency.

Two apparent concessions from Pyongyang are boosting the chances of success for President Trump’s initiative to strike a “deal” that we would de-nuclearize the Korean Peninsula and possibly even lure North Korea out of its status as a rogue nation, cut off from the outside world and shunning the norms of international relations. This would be a major triumph not just for Trump, but for America. Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are doing their utmost to rebuke and disempower the point man in achieving those concessions by obstructing CIA Director Mike Pompeo’s nomination as Secretary of State. If President Trump could hand-select his 2020 Democratic opponent, he could do no better than former Obama attorney general Eric Holder, the only Cabinet official held in contempt of Congress for withholding documents in the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal. He is the poster child for the Deep State corruption that festered under Obama and the politicization of both the DOJ and FBI. The former A.G., who is arguably responsible for the homicide of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, murdered by guns Holder and Obama funneled to Mexican drug lords, is in fact considering such a bid: Former Attorney General Eric Holder

The label “Nixonian” is not a compliment, despite the many foreign policy accomplishments of the 37th president. And that adjective now will surely be attached to the reputation of James Comey for the rest of his days and beyond. Just as Richard Nixon’s most famous words are “I am not a crook,” James Comey’s most famous words inevitably will be those revealed in the memos he leaked to the New York Times through a cut-out: “I don’t leak. I don’t do weasel words.” (snip) Where are his media and political defenders going to go to escape derisive laughter?

Two professors, one in California and one in New Jersey, are reportedly under investigation by their employers for behavior that at a minimum is rude and arrogant, and which, some hope, could cost them their jobs. Former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey isn´t quite the book bonanza he´s been touted as. His book opening shows it. And, well, look at the book he´s selling: with little more than florid descriptions to speak for his otherwise content-free book, and no big revelations, what we get from it is that he has a high opinion of himself, he´s mad about getting fired, and he wants revenge. Yeah, yeah. And as the subject of his own book, he lacks the usual affection bestowed upon such people from the rabidly left-wing Occupods or the less rabid Hillaryites, because,
