The Times Diversion
Power Line, by Scott Johnson

Original Article

In collusion news today, the New York Times has devoted six reporters to producing the “news” that the previously obscure Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos lies at the heart of the putative case. Their story is “How the Russia inquiry began: A campaign aide, drinks and talk of political dirt.” Paul wrote about it last night here. I think the story is ludicrous on its face. The Times has served as a prime purveyor of the Trump/Russia hysteria. Yet reality has deflated it. Now the Times returns to pump it up. The names have changed, but the song remains the same. The

Anything to keep their over-educated sheeple from understanding there was NO collusion and in fact it is Democrats who need to go to jail for the bogus dossier and illegal “unmasking”/wiretapping FISA warrants against the opposition party.

They are very bad Americans.

So? Help me to understand this: The left screams about "freedom of the press" and asserts that countries like Russia have "state run media." Yet, at the same time, funding and operating a "state run media" here in the United States. By that, I mean the NYT, WAPO, all the alphabet TV news shows, etc., are all FUNDED and CONTROLLED by the "DEMOCRAT DEEP STATE!:

Now they are falling on their own sword and, if we can just find, or elect, enough republicans with any gonads to bring criminal charges against all involved, then maybe we can start cleaning this crap up and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

This is what the NYTs specializes in. Take a true event eg George Papadopoulos in a bar any bar then write a fictional account that benefits obama, hillary, Democrats or any leftist ideology. It´s called propaganda - "information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view." This article is a classic example of fictional creative writing!!! Total bull excrement!

The NYT is a propaganda outlet. This is a prime example.

The Deep State is wounded, their coup attempt is being exposed, it has failed and they are getting fearful. They need some cover. So, as usual, they turn to their most reliable source of lies and propaganda to protect them and sell their BS, the NYT.

Never, ever confuse the stuff put out with the NYT with information or facts. It never is, except incidentally, when it is unimportant and just easier.

The pumping of lies is the entire reason the NYT exists.

The New York Times has been known, for a long time, to be nothing but a propaganda organ for the democrats and other left-wing groups. The only people who seem to take it seriously are the people who WANT to believe the lies and fake news. The Times could be published in a comic book format, with their heroes having super powers to vanquish Republicans and middle America, and the left would lap it up!

If the FBI is relying on the ramblings of a drunk in a bar to get a FISA warrant, they deserve no respect. It´s a little better than using a DNC planted document to get a warrant and insinuate a Russian connection that doesn´t exist but not much. By either of these standards the least rumor and innuendo can apparently steer our "intelligence" and "criminal investigation" groups which make them about as useful as a teenage chat site.

Either way, the FISA court seems to have been criminally mislead to issue a warrant which lead to almost everything else. Shame on the Slimes and other Leftists for this completely baseless propaganda attack.

So far the only evidence of a Russia connection to influence the presidential election is the so called "opposition research" that was commissioned and paid for by the Clinton campaign and the DNC. This was intended to smear Trump so that he would loose the election.

This piece of garbage should not even be called "opposition research." Opposition research is supposed to be based on unearthed dirty facts about a candidate, not a totally made up pack of lies.

President Trump says he didn´t collude with Russia in 2016, promising something to a foreign country in exchange for his installation as president. That seems increasingly likely to prove true. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it

Trump-Russia special counsel Robert Mueller is authorized to investigate "any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump." The popular word for that is collusion, and it remains at the heart of both the Mueller and the Senate Intelligence Committee investigations. While much about the Mueller investigation remains unknown, we do know the indictments he has filed and the pleas he has reached with various figures in the case. Hillary Clinton reliving her presidential election sounds like Miss Havisham talking about her wedding day. They both, one senses, harbored great expectations that became great resentments. The letdown of the loss, of an office and of a husband, unleashed psychological torment. The latter copes by donning her bridal gown; the former, by periodically playing pundit pontificating on why a benighted electorate rejected her. Both characters exude a Dickensian quality in that they come across as such, well, characters. Around the time she tripped over her feet in India last weekend Mrs. Clinton tripped over her words.
