The Times Diversion
Power Line, by Scott Johnson

Original Article

In collusion news today, the New York Times has devoted six reporters to producing the “news” that the previously obscure Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos lies at the heart of the putative case. Their story is “How the Russia inquiry began: A campaign aide, drinks and talk of political dirt.” Paul wrote about it last night here. I think the story is ludicrous on its face. The Times has served as a prime purveyor of the Trump/Russia hysteria. Yet reality has deflated it. Now the Times returns to pump it up. The names have changed, but the song remains the same. The

Anything to keep their over-educated sheeple from understanding there was NO collusion and in fact it is Democrats who need to go to jail for the bogus dossier and illegal “unmasking”/wiretapping FISA warrants against the opposition party.

They are very bad Americans.

So? Help me to understand this: The left screams about "freedom of the press" and asserts that countries like Russia have "state run media." Yet, at the same time, funding and operating a "state run media" here in the United States. By that, I mean the NYT, WAPO, all the alphabet TV news shows, etc., are all FUNDED and CONTROLLED by the "DEMOCRAT DEEP STATE!:

Now they are falling on their own sword and, if we can just find, or elect, enough republicans with any gonads to bring criminal charges against all involved, then maybe we can start cleaning this crap up and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

This is what the NYTs specializes in. Take a true event eg George Papadopoulos in a bar any bar then write a fictional account that benefits obama, hillary, Democrats or any leftist ideology. It´s called propaganda - "information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view." This article is a classic example of fictional creative writing!!! Total bull excrement!

The NYT is a propaganda outlet. This is a prime example.

The Deep State is wounded, their coup attempt is being exposed, it has failed and they are getting fearful. They need some cover. So, as usual, they turn to their most reliable source of lies and propaganda to protect them and sell their BS, the NYT.

Never, ever confuse the stuff put out with the NYT with information or facts. It never is, except incidentally, when it is unimportant and just easier.

The pumping of lies is the entire reason the NYT exists.

The New York Times has been known, for a long time, to be nothing but a propaganda organ for the democrats and other left-wing groups. The only people who seem to take it seriously are the people who WANT to believe the lies and fake news. The Times could be published in a comic book format, with their heroes having super powers to vanquish Republicans and middle America, and the left would lap it up!

If the FBI is relying on the ramblings of a drunk in a bar to get a FISA warrant, they deserve no respect. It´s a little better than using a DNC planted document to get a warrant and insinuate a Russian connection that doesn´t exist but not much. By either of these standards the least rumor and innuendo can apparently steer our "intelligence" and "criminal investigation" groups which make them about as useful as a teenage chat site.

Either way, the FISA court seems to have been criminally mislead to issue a warrant which lead to almost everything else. Shame on the Slimes and other Leftists for this completely baseless propaganda attack.

So far the only evidence of a Russia connection to influence the presidential election is the so called "opposition research" that was commissioned and paid for by the Clinton campaign and the DNC. This was intended to smear Trump so that he would loose the election.

This piece of garbage should not even be called "opposition research." Opposition research is supposed to be based on unearthed dirty facts about a candidate, not a totally made up pack of lies.

Just as Democratic donors thought they’d finally put away wallets for Hillary Clinton, she’s coming back to NYC for a fund-raiser for her nonprofit — while also creating a party stink by throwing the bash at the exact same time as an event for DNC chairman Tom Perez. With great fanfare, Clinton announced in an email to her 2016 supporters that she is launching the Onward Together Leadership Council and that they could become charter members — in return for coughing up at least

An incident this week at a U.S. Air Force base in Northern California -- in which a vehicle burst into flames after crashing through the main gate -- is being treated as "an act of terrorism," according to a report. Authorities said a driver died, likely by igniting himself, after gaining “unauthorized access" to Travis Air Force Base in Solano County, about 55 miles northeast of San Francisco, on Wednesday night. There was no further threat to the base, where approximately 7,000 active military members and 3,700 civilians live and work, Air Force officials said. Why are so many women reluctant to call themselves feminists? It might be that widespread hostility toward men defines modern feminist movement. Certainly that was the theme of Hillary Clinton’s remarks earlier this month, when she blamed her 2016 presidential loss on husbands pressuring white women to vote for Donald Trump. Clinton has since been widely criticized and apologized. But her comments suggest so much that is wrong with today’s feminist movement: it’s both anti-male and anti-woman at the same time. HILLSBORO, Ohio- The predictable reaction from some media quarters directed at President Trump over the firing of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, including outlandish comparisons to the Saturday Night Massacre of Watergate days, is reflective of the Big Media echo chamber and the isolation inside the D.C. bubble. Outside Washington, and especially in Trump country, the whole FBI mess is viewed a little differently. For the longest time, James B. The recording was made on a phone, which was found in the suspect´s possession following the confrontation. The official said authorities identified a suspect in the past 24 hours based largely on information gained after police said the suspect shipped an explosive device from a FedEx store in Southwest Austin. It was the Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky who coined the phrase the “dustbin of history.” To his political opponents, he sputtered, “You are pitiful, isolated individuals! You are bankrupts. Your role is played out. Go where you belong from now on — into the dustbin of history!” It is no coincidence that John Brennan, who supported the Soviet-controlled American Communist Party in the 1970s (he has acknowledged that he thought his vote for its presidential candidate Gus Hall threatened his prospects at the CIA; unfortunately, it didn’t), would borrow from Trotsky’s rhetoric in his fulminations against Donald Trump. Liberals love the First Amendment’s “freedom of speech” clause. They rightly remember their forerunners—liberal journalists, civil rights activists, religious and political dissidents—and venerate the constitutional right that eventually vindicated these brave citizens. Yet it’s striking how often today’s most flagrant desecrations of free-speech rights are perpetrated not by right-wing rubes in Southern school districts but by highly-educated and allegedly forward-thinking liberal elites. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it
