Why liberals are so pathetically

New York Post, by Kyle Smith

From glancing at the headlines (or even at entertainment news), you could be forgiven for thinking a full-blown Watergate is upon us. “Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg find parallels to Nixon era,” ran a Dec. 15 headline in The Washington Post. Spielberg has said he made the movie “The Post” because the dawn of the Trump era was exactly the right time for an unabashed prequel to “All the President’s Men” that ends with the Watergate burglary. Hanks added that if President Trump invited him to screen the movie at the White House, he’d decline and be more likely to lead

The Pentagon Papers, the subject of The Post, were papers from the Kennedy/Johnson administrations.

These movie stars really believe their own press. Who cares if Hanks wants to go to the WH or not? Spielberg made a dumb movie in my hometown. It was a major flop. George Clooney´s latest movie was a flop. If the Deplorables stay away from this movie and don´t watch the stupid award shows, maybe, just maybe these movie stars will stop putting us down. Pres. Trump is one of us and we have his back.

For the libs, those were the days!

Today we have multiple sources to check on the media, and we can spot when they are pushing an agenda which is devoid of fact--only innuendo and false charges made to create a situation where anyone who defended themselves against the false charges was made to look guilty for attempting to straighten up the facts.

Nixon did not order the break in. In fact, they had successfully broken in before being caught on the SECOND break in.

The Pentagon papers were detailed analysis of policies and conjectures of who things did and did not always work out well. Lots of think tank stuff and things that would later be looked at again down the road.

Can you imagine if they REALLY had to dig to find the stuff themselves? Ellsberg and Mark Felt LEAKED to the Washington Post and New York Times...

Now we have people "leaking" things like fake dossiers and the media laps it up WITHOUT properly vetting the facts....

The liberals, driven by the media, are fixated on Watergate because they over turned a landslide election. Nobody ever reports this. Nixon won the 1972 elections with 58% more popular votes. He won the electoral college 520 to 17. He only lost Mass. and the D of C.

‘Don’t Be Evil’? Google Is

Back in the day, Google famously adopted the corporate motto, “Don’t be evil.” It hasn’t turned out so well. The problem is that their motto didn’t define what constitutes evil, so it left an opening for narrow-minded zealots to commandeer company resources in a witch hunt against whatever they define as the forces of wickedness. That’s what has happened at Google, which has adopted a corporate culture of quasi-totalitarian ideological uniformity that it is now starting to impose on everyone who uses its services. Which is, let’s face it, pretty much everyone. For now. Google’s internal culture has been laid bare by

Yesterday, writing about former president Obama’s hack remark to David Letterman about the absence of “a common baseline of facts” shared by Americans, I asked whether Obama really is as shallow a thinker as he appears to be. It was not a rhetorical question. To be sure, Obama has failed to display appreciable depth since he wrote his fictionalized autobiography, Dreams From Father. His signature pronouncements and phrases are banal and borrowed. “The audacity of hope,” borrowed from his spiritual mentor the Reverend Wright. “Just words,” lifted from Deval Patrick. “You didn’t build that,” the obnoxious contribution of Elizabeth Warren. “Right

As usual the media and liberal critics of Trump have it all wrong. Before I get to DACA and the wall, I will tackle Trump’s “offensive words” about Haiti and African nations. There are reports that Trump called those countries by a crude name. If he did, he certainly could have chosen his words more carefully. But…who cares? If he said it, he told the raw truth. As usual, he was right on the money. Trump said exactly (although perhaps crudely) what 63 million American taxpayers who voted for him were thinking. President Trump likes to do "yuge" things: tall hotels, massive walls, big deals. Congress, meanwhile, tends to make bills more complex as parochial interests and powerful lobbies tack their favored provisions on to bills as they move through the Capitol. For any immigration bill, these habits would be fatal. Congress and Trump should pass a small immigration deal, resisting any push for “comprehensive" immigration reform. In fact, the House bill probably already has too much clutter. The White House’s press release generally supporting the bill sponsored by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., noted only four provisions: “The president looks forward

President Trump is drawing much-deserved criticism for reportedly referring to Haiti, El Salvador, and certain African nations as “shithole countries” when he met with lawmakers this week to discuss immigration protections. The main thrust of the argument against the president’s remarks, which were reported first by the Washington Post and the New York Times, is not that he used naughty language, but that he suggested immigrants from poorer countries are somehow subpar to immigrants from wealthier, predominantly white countries. There’s a lot that can be said against Trump’s tone. There´s even more that can be said against his reported claim that people

Lots of the news from sub-Saharan Africa is about war, famine, poverty or political upheaval. So it’s understandable if many Americans think most Africans who immigrate to the United States are poorly educated and desperate. Research tells another story. While many are refugees, large numbers are beneficiaries of the diversity-visa program aimed at boosting immigration from underrepresented nations. And on average, African immigrants are better educated than people born in the U.S. or the immigrant population as a whole.
