Scandal: For 18 months, the FBI has been fixated on determining whether President Trump worked with Russia to influence the 2016 election. But explosive text exchanges between top FBI agents suggest it should be looking in the mirror. The text messages sent between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, which became public on Wednesday, provide a rare and illuminating window into just how rabidly partisan putatively nonpartisan law enforcement officials can be. In the exchanges, they called Trump an "idiot," a "loathsome human," an "enormous do-che," and said "this man cannot be president." When not berating Trump, they were praising Hillary Clinton. In one
Why has Jeff Sessions also been demoted to the FBI´s HR Department? Sessions can´t be AG since he has no interest in prosecuting the blatant law breaking of Obama, Clinton and their coconspirators. If Sessions wasn´t in HR along with Strzok and his lawyer lover Page, Jeff would have fired the Rosenstein and McCabe by now. Instead, Sessions will probably be welcoming these two Democratic operatives to HR since no one in DoJ or the FBI is ever fired for gross misconduct: they just move over to HR.
Notice the actual text messages are not shown. Are they written during work hours (why would lovers be texting on their own time?)? So, were they demoted for massive texting on company time and not for the subversive, conspiratorial and treasonous content?
... it´s chess not checkers. Still flushing out the pawns to capture the queen and checkmate the Kenyan....i mean the king. Give Sessions the benefit of the doubt. If he was doing all this them everyone would be screaming bias and blaming Trump. When this is over it will be unimpeacgable... does make you wonder(or worse) what creatures are hiding in the VIA and the other agency´s.
So open expressions of intent to subvert the federal government are grounds for reassignment, not dismissal, not arrest and only after its inevitable that the we the people will find out. Does that sound like the government our founders created or the one we rebelled against?
#8 I agree wholeheartedly!!!! When did it become ok for those involved in Federal LE to make plans to remove a Presidential Candidate not to their liking if that candidate should win? Further when those plans to overthrow a duly elected President are acted upon and are revealed and nothing happens except a transfer to HR? President Lincoln would be appalled that the "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth" has perished and has become a government against the WTP! This is sedition and if anyone in the FBI had contact with foreign agent Steele or Russians it is treason. We´ll see what President Trump does about this illegal conspiracy. He will be tested tremendously by the swamp protecting it own FBI.
I can’t wait to see how this crime against America ends. It’s so Hugh, so big, so intertwined, the political peole, the deep state, and the media can’t control it. It’s out there and unfolding every day. So obvious that this now has a life of its own. Despite the attempts of the democrats to cover this up, and the ineptitude of the feckless Republicans, this is going to Explode. Jeff Sessions, with his spectacles down on his nose, will go down in history as the American Inspector Clouseau.
It would appear that those clamoring for the initial investigation were in the know and at the center of what they have attempted to pin on the Russians and Trump. THEY KNEW ALL ALONG, because THEY SET IT UP!!!! Simply handing over documents will not be enough to restore my faith and confidence of our justice systems. I want a veritable parade of orange pant-suited frog marchers plastered all over my flat screen TV. And I really don´t care what their party affiliation is. They´re all swamp creatures.
I´ve been as critical of Jeff Sessions as anyone here. Now I´m not so sure.
I´m holding out hope that Sessions has been holding back, waiting for the report of the Justice Department Inspector General, who appears to have been looking into these under-the-radar traitors for the better part of the last year.
I´m waiting hopefully for the report. I´d love to see a massive purge, followed by trials for treason. It does appear that Mueller has been investigating the wrong people, and is coming up empty.
I am wondering where all those hundreds of "hero" agents who were ready to revolt are. How many Americans believe now that law enforcement personnel won´t gun down fellow Americans when called to do so?
Meddling? Meddling? If this is meddling then murdering someone in cold blood is merely an accidental mild shove with a bullet. I mean, how was I to know the bullet would actually penetrate?
However, to all this I say, so what? It obviously doesn´t matter if a video tape of Mueller, Comey, Yates, Rosenstein and the whole Team Impeachment are seen on video tape with Rosenstein saying, "Sure glad GPS got the fake dossier done on time, glad we got Hillary cleared, if we win in 2018, Congress will have Trump impeached by February then we can go after Pence." It´s so ridiculously obvious now that the goal is to impeach Trump on the way to regaining power with the GOP totally on board, who or what would stop them short of pitch forks? Answer; NOTHING.
I want prosecutions and to claw back every single penny each of these traitors has cost us over the last two years! Empty their pensions, take their houses and dachas, tow their cars, make their kids attend public schools and community colleges, place outhouses on their family plots, render their spouses penniless, disconnect their internet, sell their SS #s on the dark web, give their email address to spammers, destroy their family reputations, and adopt out their pets! If these people have anything more than state provided underwear and flip flops, that is more than they deserve!
In one of the articles, they equated this process to the movie "Sting," and said not to quit watching until the last 15 minutes exposes the clever plot.
Setting up the investigation of the leaks and the FBI and Intelligence offices last January, largely went under the radar. Reading the Sundance articles gives me hope that Sessions is a puppet master setting this all up and watching it enfold and expose entire layers of corruption.
This could be one masterful stroke. Even so far, there is an unprecedented number of people with damning evidence against them and tying others into the complicated web of deceit.
A democrat rat has ALREADY this month, this December, tried to introduce a bill to impeach Trump and it was overwhelmingly voted down. So it remains to be seen that Republicans or Democrats want to impeach our DULY ELECTED and cherished, beloved President Trump! The spread was 364 against to 58 for. Many, one hundred twenty six to be exact, of the three hundred sixty four votes were from Democrats! Do NOT make any bets on President Trump being impeached. Nice try, Greeny, epic fail-you!
Comey told a lie to the world, that FBI people ´don´t give a hoot about politics.´ Comey without proof also says he thinks Trump is a liar, and that´s why he took notes of their meetings. Comey needs to apologize to the American people and Trump and retract his statements.
The Swamp Media (nee MSM) are giving this saturation coverage.
Sarcasm aside, just put it with the Explosive Reveal of fraud in the GlobalWarming / ClimateChange "science" found in the East Anglia CRU computers in 2009 -- worthy of front-page coverage, but ignored except to dismiss/discredit it in passing.
Let´s also not forget one very key statement made by Chuck Schumer after President Trump fired James Comey and was denigrating some at the Intel agencies who were all Obama leftovers. In that statement Up-Chuck said in effect that "Trump should be careful what he says about the intelligence community because they have ways and means..." etc. That was a very clear veiled threat that Trump had something coming to him, which begs the question, "What did Chuck Schumer know, and when, and how did he learn about it?"
- Hillary took over payments for Fusion GPS and added $millions to it through her useful idiot lawyers, probably using DNC monies.
- The DOJ/FBI then paid a few $million more into Fusion GPS, probably a few days BEFORE Bruce "skunkhead" Ohr got his wife hired there to do Trump oppo research (no conflict of interest there, huh?) The completed salacious Fusion GPS Dossier then finds its way into FBI hands after which the FISA warrants for granting uncovering of anyone on the Trump campaign/transition team.
They always underestimate the Donald. I believe the stage is being set for massive firings & prosecutions. Imagine the poetic justice to those who sought to put him in the docket only to find demselves instead facing an American jury.
The current thesis is Hillary/FBI financed the production of the Dossier by a former British intelligence agent named Steele.
My thesis is simpler, and I think more correct.
Start with the FBI ~ using just Peter Strzok ~ he is fluent in Russian... and was for a good while an analyst, then a specialist in Russian espionage attempts, etc.
So, he writes the Dossier in Russian using current ideomatic expressions. He sends it to Steele via courier to have it translated into English, with enough ideomatic expressions mistranslated to give it a Russian language (and therefore Russian) cast! Steele returns it via courier. It is possible McCain did that arrangement. The private company may have handled the first courier run to England.
Strzok KNEW all the most recent FBI intelligence about the comings and goings of the Trump campaign team...the Trump transition team.... the Trump family and some of that material ended up in the Dossier!
The Russians would have had to have spent BILLIONS of dollars to get that information to stick into the Dossier.
My thesis has NO RUSSIANS involved at all unless Peter is a Russian agent (which I think is highly possible).
If you have doubts about Russian interest in embedding spies in federal intelligence agencies see ANNA CHAPMAN .... and go from there. That effort was in Maryland and it failed.
When the Republican National Committee, at the behest of President Trump, announced its "fake news" awards, the mainstream media treated it as an attack on freedom of the press. Even if that concern were legitimate (we seem to recall President Obama attacking Fox News pretty regularly without the mainstream press raising alarms), the list is a damning indictment of how sloppy reporters and editors have gotten in their zeal to attack Trump. Here´s are the "winners" as published by the RNC: 1. The New York Times´ Paul Krugman claimed on the day of President Trump´s historic, landslide victory that the economy would never
Environmentalism: A new study published in the prestigious journal Nature finds that all those global warming doomsday scenarios aren´t credible. Not that you would ever know based on how little coverage this study is getting. The study, published on Thursday, finds that if CO2 in the atmosphere doubled, global temperatures would climb at most by 3.4 degrees Celsius. That´s far below what the UN has been saying for decades, namely that temperatures would rise as much as 4.5 degrees, and possibly up to 6 degrees. Basically, the scientists involved in the Nature study found that the planet is less sensitive to changes
Shutdown: Republicans don´t have a great track record with government shutdowns. In the past, no matter whose fault it is, the GOP gets blamed by the opposition Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media for any budget shutdown. This time will be no different. The GOP is once again engaged in a game of chicken with the Democrats over the budget. They have until Friday to either extend their budget deadline, or to solve an impasse over the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, also known as the "Dreamers" bill. If not, Democrats have threatened to shut down the
Health Reform: The number of uninsured shot up by 3.2 million last year. Naturally, Republicans are getting blamed, even though the causes were in place well before President Trump won the election. According to the quarterly Gallup survey, 12.2% of adult Americans were uninsured in Q4 2017. That´s up significantly from the year before, when the uninsured rate was 10.9% — the biggest jump since Gallup started tracking this in 2008. This comes despite a steady decline in unemployment and predictions from the Congressional Budget Office that the number of uninsured would drop by 1 million in 2017. Gallup isn´t the only
Just a few weeks after major tax reform legislation was approved by Congress and signed by President Trump, we are seeing the broad benefits of economic growth for the middle class, blue collar workers and the poor. That is captured in summary fashion in the stock market. The Dow has climbed to a new all-time record, over 26,000 in the past few days. That reflects $7.2 trillion in new wealth added to the economy over the first year of the Trump presidency, broadly shared by everyone with stock ownership, either directly, or through pension plans and retirement savings. Turns out Donald
Overregulation: After a number of false starts, Congress is once again seriously looking at reforming the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. But this time, something´s different: Some Senate Democrats may want to help. It´s an opportunity too good to waste. The New York Times reports that a new push to change the CFPB would be the "first major revision of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act, a signature accomplishment of President Barack Obama that has been deemed ´a disaster´ by President Trump." Whether it counts as an "accomplishment" is certainly open to question, but there´s no doubt the CFPB has been a disaster, especially for
Corporate Responsibility: In his annual letter to corporate CEOs, BlackRock´s Laurence Fink is pushing them to focus not just on profits, but on social responsibility. Given that BlackRock (BLK) manages more than $6 trillion in investments, his views can hold a tremendous amount of sway. Too bad this effort is so badly misguided. In his letter, Fink says that "society is demanding that companies, both public and private, serve a social purpose." As such, he says, "every company must not only deliver financial performance, but also show how it makes a positive contribution to society." He tells CEOs that their corporate strategies
Freeing Iran: In their battle against the oppressive mullahs, Iran´s protesters have one powerful weapon: the internet. Unfortunately, the government knows this and is systematically closing down apps it believes pose a threat, and selectively disrupting internet service. The U.S. should do all it can to keep Iran´s digital window open. The internet has become a formidable weapon in the Iranian people´s fight for freedom. It gives those who oppose Iran´s terror-supporting regime a way to communicate with others, share ideas and even organize opposition. A report out just this Wednesday from the Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI) notes that
The public is more upbeat about the direction of the country and the economy, less likely to be looking for a job and less stressed. Yet they´re not giving President Trump much of the credit, the latest IBD/TIPP Poll shows. The January poll finds 35% approve of the job Trump is doing and 58% disapprove — a gap of 23 points, which is unchanged from last month. Trump´s favorability rating is 36%, with 57% saying they have an unfavorable view of the leadership he´s providing — a gap of 21 points. However, the poll also found that 45% now approve of how
Health Care: President Trump has taken three important steps that will help make health care more affordable for millions by injecting more choice and competition into the insurance market. The response from Democrats is illuminating. In a series of proposed regulatory changes, Trump aims to give consumers options that Democrats want to deny them — options for less expensive insurance that best suits their own health care and financial needs. One would remove an Obama-era regulation that was designed to thwart the increasingly popular market for "short-term" insurance plans. These plans didn´t comply with ObamaCare´s myriad rules and regulations, which meant they
If there is one thing about which most economists understand and agree it´s the law of supply and demand. A derivative of that law is that demand and velocity of transactions tend to diminish as costs increase. While few individuals disagree about this, many in the collective body of economists have become so politicized that when it comes to the cost of variables such as taxes and regulations, that consensus all but vanishes. Indeed, to listen to many of the pundits and experts there seems to be confusion, denial and disagreement about how the cost of regulations and taxes actually affect
In the midst of the media feeding frenzy over Michael Wolff´s gossipy and fact-mangling book on the Trump White House, another piece of news broke. On Jan. 5, it was announced that the FBI has returned to investigating The Clinton Foundation. Yawn. First, the media ignored it. Then, they touched on it for half a story, after which pundits insisted that there is "nothing new," as if they have access to the factual evidence being sought by the FBI. Does the "nothing new" response ring a bell? It should. Last year, some reporters stared at the clear evidence of corporate donations to
1988 Democratic presidential nominee Michael Dukakis ripped President Trump´s new tax law and offered optimism for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections. Dukakis, a former governor of the Bay State during the so-called economic "Massachusetts Miracle," said Republicans have lost their way when it comes to supporting fiscal responsibility. He questioned why they would champion a tax plan that may have costly ramifications for the national deficit. (Snip) "We just passed a tax bill, which I think is a piece of garbage," Dukakis, who lost his presidential bid to then-Vice President George Bush, said. "Look at these companies, though, that are
The White House says it will not negotiate with the Democrats on immigration until the end of the federal government shutdown. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says in a statement that, “We will not negotiate the status of unlawful immigrants while Democrats hold our lawful citizens hostage over their reckless demands.” She adds, “When Democrats start paying our armed forces and first responders we will reopen negotiations on immigration reform.” The government shut down at midnight after Congress failed to pass a spending deal. Sanders says, “Senate Democrats own the Schumer Shutdown,” adding,
It´s no secret that Mitt Romney is, in all likelihood, going to run for a Senate seat in Utah. What´s less clear, however, is why the man who was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee and is now retired and occupying an elder-statesman role in a party torn into warring factions would want to serve as a junior senator. Once elected, Romney would find himself embroiled in day-to-day congressional fights and less free to voice his criticisms of the White House, while losing some of the deference he´s been shown by members of his own party. But listen to any number of Republicans and
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer of New York pinned the government shutdown on President Donald Trump, saying it has become "next to impossible" to negotiate with the White House. In a press availability, Schumer said he and Trump have been close to a deal to fund the government at least once. But, he said the "hard right" in the Republican Party later convinces Trump not to strike a deal with him."[Trump] won´t take yes for an answer," Schumer said. (Tweet) Schumer said that he does not know whether Trump´s apparent waffling on a deal is the work of adviser Stephen Miller, a
The Daily Caller journalist Chuck Ross has some extremely interesting information released today surrounding former top FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok and DOJ/FBI liaison attorney Lisa Page which includes a disclosure by top FBI officials that text messages between Strzok and Page have gone missing. (Snip) According to information relayed to Senator Ron Johnson, the period of time the FBI has “lost” is from December 14th, 2016 to May 17th, 2017, the exact day that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was assigned to lead the Russia collusion probe. As CTH has previously outlined the same “small group” inside the DOJ and FBI,
Question: Do you think Donald Trump spends more time thinking about Hillary Clinton than Hillary Clinton spends thinking about Donald Trump? Sure does seem like it. The other day, President Trump was discussing Russia at a press conference with the prime minister of Norway, when he suddenly announced that Clinton “was not for a strong military and Hillary, my opponent, was for windmills, and she was for other types of energy that don’t have the same capacities at this moment certainly.” Yeah, it didn’t make any sense. But he really can’t seem to get past her. Recently while promoting tax
Immigrants entering the United States illegally through the southern border are quietly being relocated to different parts of the country on commercial flights, high-ranking Homeland Security officials told Judicial Watch this week. In the last few days alone, groups of illegal aliens boarded planes at airports in Texas and Arizona accompanied by a taxpayer-funded government escort in civilian clothes to avoid drawing attention. The first flight originated at Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas and was bound for Minneapolis. (Snip) The illegal aliens wear red HHS wrist bands and receive “the gold glove treatment,” according to a veteran federal official,
According to Representative Dave Joyce (R-OH14) the House Intelligence Committee will hold a vote on the release of the four-page Nunes memo that reveals systemic corruption within the DOJ and FBI; including the unlawful use of FISA-702(16)(17) data searches which were part of an elaborate DOJ-FBI surveillance program on the political campaign of Donald Trump. (Tweet) Additionally, Chad Pergram reported that Chairman Devin Nunes met with Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte to discuss the best process to release the memo. There are generally two ways it could be done, the HPSCI vote is the most likely. As more people have become aware
There’s a ghost haunting Elizabeth Warren as she ramps up for a possible 2020 presidential bid and a reelection campaign in Massachusetts this year: her enduring and undocumented claims of Native American ancestry. Warren says now, as she has from the first days of her public life, that she based her assertions on family lore, on her reasonable trust in what she was told about her ancestry as a child. “I know who I am,” she said in a recent interview with the Globe. But that self-awareness may not be enough, as her political ambitions blossom.
The burn continues. What follows are 138 years of scientific records tracing the human transformation of Earth’s climate. The bold pink line up top represents 2017, the third-hottest on record. The only years to exceed it—2015 and 2016—occurred amid a powerful El Nino weather pattern that ripped heat from the Pacific Ocean into the atmosphere. In the absence of El Nino, the swelter of 2017 was unprecedented.
Comic book readers are apparently not fans of progressive politics—a fact no more evident in Marvel’s decision to cancel every single one of its comics that has been nominated by the LGBTQ advocacy group, GLAAD. In December, the publisher announced its decision to cancel many of its comics, citing poor sales. LGBTQ, feminist, and social justice-themed comics involving stories that revolved around Black Lives Matter, illegal immigration, and LGBTQ issues were among those to end up on the chopping block.
Adam Schiff, reputedly a champion leaker from the House Intelligence Committee when it came to Russiagate material, suddenly thinks Ignorance is Bliss when it comes to the FISA warrant used to spy on the Trump campaign. Appearing on CNN, he tried to justify keep the 4 page memo that reportedly exposes the individuals who acted as part of a cabal to undermine the Trump campaign with help from NSA spying, and then pushed the “Russia collusion” conspiracy theory as part of the “insurance policy.” Americans are too ignorant, you see. Do you think Democrats are starting to panic? (Video) Rush
