A Kentucky lawmaker accused of sexually abusing a teenager said Tuesday that he would not resign from office and that the allegations are false and politically motivated. "This allegation concerning this lady, this young girl, absolutely has no merit, these are unfounded accusations, totally," state Rep. Dan Johnson, R-Mount Washington, said at a press conference at his church attended by family, campaign volunteers and members of his congregation. Johnson, a self-anointed "pope" of his congregation, is accused of sexually abusing a member of Heart of Fire Church in the Fern Creek area when she was 17. The woman, who is

Prediction: Another one bites the dust. Reading into the story you find a text message to the girl that he didn´t remember what happened at the bar New Year´s Eve because he was drugged. Yeah, right. I have had a few nights like that myself, but had nothing to do with drugs.

Good grief. If you are running for office or interested in a future run, you ought to be smart enough to avoid garbage like this. It´s hard enough for Conservatives to win, please don´t give us idiots like this!!

No due process No presentation of factual evidence that a law was broken. Just find some bimbo who needs a few bucks and get her to swear that the Pol is a sexual predator. Let the lynchings begin´

How Michael Wolff Got Into the White
House for His Tell-All Book
Bloomberg, by Jennifer Jacobs    Original Article
Posted By: Drive- 1/17/2018 12:24:45     Post Reply
Author Michael Wolff’s pitch to the White House to win cooperation for his book included a working title that signaled a sympathetic view, a counter-narrative to a slew of negative news stories early in Donald Trump’s presidency. He called it “The Great Transition: The First 100 Days of the Trump Administration.” And in part due to that title, Wolff was able to exploit an inexperienced White House staff who mistakenly believed they could shape the book to the president’s liking.

The White House believed it had an agreement with the House Intelligence Committee to limit questions for Steve Bannon only to events on the presidential campaign, and not during the ousted former chief strategist´s time in the Trump administration, an official told CNBC. According to the White House official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, staffers for the committee and the White House on Friday discussed the parameters of Bannon´s testimony. The White House emerged from that conversation believing it had an agreement to limit the questioning of Bannon just to events during the campaign, and not during the

Lawmakers investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election vowed Tuesday to force answers from Steve Bannon after the former senior strategist to President Donald Trump stonewalled their inquiries — even after the committee issued a subpoena with bipartisan support. Lawmakers in both parties attributed Bannon´s silence to the White House, which they said told him to refuse to discuss his time in the West Wing or on Trump´s transition team. Bannon´s refusal to speak clearly angered lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee, who vowed to make him speak.

U.S. counterintelligence officials in early 2017 warned Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump´s son-in-law and senior adviser, that Wendi Deng Murdoch, a prominent Chinese-American businesswoman, could be using her close friendship with Mr. Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, to further the interests of the Chinese government, according to people familiar with the matter. U.S. officials have also had concerns about a counterintelligence assessment that Ms. Murdoch was lobbying for a high-profile construction project funded by the Chinese government in Washington, D.C., one of these people said. Congressional investigations into the Trump dossier have so far been focused on the FBI and Justice Department. They still are, but now investigators are also looking into a possible Obama State Department role in the collection and dissemination of sensational and still-unverified allegations against candidate Donald Trump gathered by a former British spy working for the Hillary Clinton campaign. In addition to having contacts in the Obama Justice Department and FBI, that former spy, Christopher Steele, was also well-connected with the Obama State Department. And Manafort has a case in his lawsuit against Trump-Russia special counsel Robert Mueller and deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein. Mueller sent Manafort a strong message last July, when FBI agents working for Mueller, guns drawn, broke into Manafort´s house in the pre-dawn hours while Manafort and his wife slept inside. He can’t write properly, has no professional integrity, and is a sociophobic mud-slinger and myth-maker. His entry into the continuing Trump controversy in its twilight proclaims that we have reached the era of the swiftly evaporating, nausea-inducing nothingburger.
