A SYNAGOGUE was attacked by around 20 masked men while hosting a youth party in Gothenburg, Sweden, local media have reported. Police arrived at the scene, where Jewish students had taken refuge in the basement. A police spokesman said: "There are several molotov cocktails that have been thrown against the synagogue. "It´s about bottles and gasoline." A fire broke out between vehicles in the car park, fire fighter Kristoffer Wahter told local news. No injuries were caused and the building did not catch fire, Police inspector Peter Nordengard said. Initial local media reports suggest the group was around 20 men wearing masks carried out the

What we can be absolutely certain of is that the Swedish "media" will blame this on "white nationalists" and the provocation of "racists" ( = Trump and his overseas supporters) while categorically denying any involvement from the Israel-hating Left or the large number of Jew-hating Muslims who now breed freely in Sweden. The "media" will also avoid any mention of their daily 2 Minute Hate fest against the Jewish nation. Although, there is also the possibility that the Swedish "media" will choose not to cover this story at all, and instead devote precious broadcast minutes once again explaining why Trump is Hitler.

Either way, you get the picture.

TSUNAMI warnings issued after a huge 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Alaska this morning have since been downgraded to advisories after the entire US west coast was put on alert. The quake struck 157 miles (256km) south-east of Chiniak, Alaska, at 9.31am GMT (12.31am local time) on Tuesday. People on Kodiak Island have been urged to stay away from the coast after the quake struck just 175 miles away. The quake prompted a tsunami warning for parts of Alaska and Canada and a tsunami watch for the entire US west coast, the US Tsunami Warning System said. A tsunami watch

President Donald Trump has said that he wants a ´big win for everyone´ at the negotiating table just hours after signing a bill to end the government shutdown. ´Big win for Republicans as Democrats cave on Shutdown. Now I want a big win for everyone, including Republicans, Democrats and DACA, but especially for our Great Military and Border Security,´ Trump tweeted Monday night. ´Should be able to get there. See you at the negotiating table!´ he added. The government shutdown ended earlier on Monday after the president signed a short-term spending bill that will fund the government through February 8.

A group of 16 Senate Democrats – including some with potential presidential ambitions – voted against a resolution that ended the three-day government shutdown. Many of the holdouts said they did not trust President Donald Trump to come up with a deal to help DREAMers who came to the country illegally as children. Others weren´t satisfied by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell´s statement of his intention to bring up immigration legislation within 18 weeks – in a statement that included plenty of wiggle room for the Republican. ´My concern with the three-week extension adopted today is that the Republican leadership will fail to

The UK struck a "bargain" when they agreed to the £35billion divorce bill with the EU - as the economic boom after Brexit will see "the bill pay for itself". According to top-level Bloomberg economists, even the most basic free trade deal with the EU would bring in over £40billion in just three years. Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown. The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown. It’s a stunning display of political leverage for a group that, at most, numbers several million, can’t vote now, and even under the most generous proposals wouldn’t be able to cast ballots for another decade. It´s no secret that Mitt Romney is, in all likelihood, going to run for a Senate seat in Utah. What´s less clear, however, is why the man who was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee and is now retired and occupying an elder-statesman role in a party torn into warring factions would want to serve as a junior senator. Once elected, Romney would find himself embroiled in day-to-day congressional fights and less free to voice his criticisms of the White House, while losing some of the deference he´s been shown by members of his own party. The man overseeing the special investigation into Russian election meddling is by all accounts a non-partisan straight shooter, the model image of a public-minded civil servant. Drafted to lead politically polarizing investigation, working under the beady eyes of distrustful congressional Republicans, Mueller has striven to keep his team’s conduct as unimpeachable as possible by bringing on some of America’s sharpest legal minds to check his own work and keeping public comments to a minimum. The Daily Caller journalist Chuck Ross has some extremely interesting information released today surrounding former top FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok and DOJ/FBI liaison attorney Lisa Page which includes a disclosure by top FBI officials that text messages between Strzok and Page have gone missing. (Snip) According to information relayed to Senator Ron Johnson, the period of time the FBI has “lost” is from December 14th, 2016 to May 17th, 2017, the exact day that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was assigned to lead the Russia collusion probe. Investigators in both House and Senate were stunned late Friday when, receiving a batch of newly-released texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, they also received notice from the bureau that the FBI "failed to preserve" Strzok-Page messages from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017. Given the amount of texting that went on between Strzok and Page, who were having an extramarital affair, that probably meant thousands of missing documents. A number of critical events in the Trump-Russia affair occurred between December 2016 and May 2017, including: Conversations between Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey

Congressional investigators believe they are barely beginning to answer the questions raised by the text messages between the FBI´s Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. For several reasons: 1) Strzok and Page were more prolific texters than anyone knew. In a statement late Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said FBI investigators have found "over 50,000 texts" in their review of Strzok-Page communications. 2) Even with all those texts, the FBI says it cannot find the couple´s messages between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017 — a critical time in the Trump-Russia affair.
