John Lewis Refuses To Share Stage with

Democratic Rep. John Lewis of Georgia is refusing to attend the Thursday opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights museum since President Donald Trump will be there. Lewis, who played a crucial role in ushering in civil rights for black Americans, will not be speaking at the opening because Trump’s presence is an insult to the men and women represented in the museum, Time reported. (Snip) The ceremony is planned for Saturday to celebrate the 200-year anniversary of Mississippi entering the union. Republican Gov. Phil Bryant extended an invitation to the president to attend, sparking a wave of outrage from various

What a rude, vile, low class thug. He is as extremely ugly on the outside as he is on the inside. I´m sick of hearing about these ´icons´ who are anything but.. He´s another example of a hack that screams for term limits. He is almost 80 years old and has been in congress for way too long. If a Republican had done that to Obama he would be the first to start shrieking like a scalded dog and go on every network to condemn them. I´m sick them and their horrific behavior.

One thing we can count on is a "spontaneous" wave of outrage for anything and everything Trump, from many Progressives. This is what happens when the swamp plantation gets disrupted and the coronation gets cancelled.
When was the last time that Lewis seriously addressed the "absent father syndrome" in the black community. How about "Hands up don´t shoot"? This guy;s icon-status was revoked a LONNNG time ago ... now he´s just a TOOL in every sense of that word.

Sadly John Lewis, and many of the CBC, listen to a whole bunch of very liberal, white people who have been telling them "things will get better" for over 50 years.

Trump, actually wants to improve and fix things, not just talk about it.
I think that´s what scares most of them in DC. Remember, he was a democrat just a few years back, and was welcomed by most of those who now say they despise him.

There are two solutions to this problem.
Someone should hit Lewis in the head again like in Selma.
OR
Maybe Lewis should be dis-invited (because he´s a trouble maker)

I think the first option is best.

Illegal immigrants have been collecting the payoff from the “refundable” tax credit for years because of an IRS interpretation of how the rule was drafted. The Republican-controlled Congress this fall had a chance to correct that in the tax code overhaul that in the Senate version doubled the child tax credit to $2,000 and expanded eligibility.
