Weinstein’s Complicity Machine.
New York Times, by Megan Twohey, Jodi Kantor*

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 12/6/2017 7:47:46 AM

HARVEY WEINSTEIN BUILT his complicity machine out of the witting, the unwitting and those in between. He commanded enablers, silencers and spies, warning others who discovered his secrets to say nothing. He courted those who could provide the money or prestige to enhance his reputation as well as his power to intimidate. In the weeks and months before allegations of his methodical abuse of women were exposed in October, Mr. Weinstein, the Hollywood producer, pulled on all the levers of his carefully constructed apparatus. He gathered ammunition, sometimes helped by the editor of The National Enquirer, who had dispatched reporters to find

You know who´s sliding in this whole blowup? THE WOMEN WHO PROFITED BY THIS ARRANGEMENT. Sorry for the yelling but it´s been weeks of ignoring the other half of this behavior. If there were no quid pro quo in this sort of workplace sexual transaction, it would not have lasted ten minutes. The women who did not put out are victimized twice- once by the boss and then by the women who got the benefits denied the honest. So A did a good job this year/has a nice acting talent, but B gives blow jobs. C covers it up because her promotion is tied to the sleazebag´s future. Who gets the bonus? Who gets the sinecure job at Revlon? Who gets a senate seat? Who gets a Washington Post religion column? Who gets cast in a film?
Yeah, how about THAT?

This hydra-headed wall of protection around Harvey is truly disgusting. This is a jaw-dropping account of what an evil person looks like, in excruciating detail.

I´m going to take a shower now.

Seems incredible that Barack and Michelle Obama would allow their older daughter to sign on as one of Weinstein’s interns for a year.

They probably figured that she would be safe because of her Secret Service protection unit being nearby.

I wouldn´t put it past the Obamas not to even consider their child´s safety. In fact, they probably thought of it as a learning experience in more ways than one.

As for Hillary and Bill, I´ll repeat what I´ve posted before. They were probably envious of Harvey´s way with women, not only the sex but also the exercise of power. Probably got them all hot and bothered.
