The woman who outed White House intern Monica Lewinsky as Bill Clinton´s ´mistress,´ paints the former president with the same brush as men like Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer and Kevin Spacey – a sexual predator. Linda Tripp felt compelled to speak out to DailyMailTV after two decades of silence, saying that giving the President ´a pass´ for his behavior all those years ago brought us to where we are today. Tripp has pointed to that time in history as giving men in power the permission to abuse their status in order to satisfy their sexual appetites. But Bill Clinton wasn´t the only one

The FBI agent who was dismissed from special counsel Robert Mueller´s Russia probe for sending his lover anti-Trump text messages is turning into a Forrest Gump character who figured in a number of key moments in the Bureau´s recent history. Peter Strzok was reassigned to the FBI´s human resources department after the text messages between him and FBI lawyer Lisa Page were uncovered. He was already known to be the agent who who edited then-Director James Comey´s reprimand of Hillary Clinton for using an unsecured private email server for classified messages. St Paul´s Station and several nearby roads were sealed off this morning as police dealt with a package found inside a building. At least three police vehicles and several officers arrived at St Martin´s Le Grand at around 10.30am to inspect the item, which was initially thought to be suspicious. The cordons were taken down after police cleared the area, which is near the heart of London´s financial district, and deemed the object safe. THE United States Supreme Court has allowed the Trump administration to enforce his controversial “Muslim ban”. The ban is now set to go into “full effect”, although it is not clear on what timescale this will happen. Legal challenges against the controversial measure are still making their way through the US courts, and have not yet reached the Supreme Court. Challenges by the state of Hawaii and the American Civil Liberties Union said the latest ban, as in its earlier iterations, discriminates against Muslims in violation of the US Constitution and is not permissible under immigration laws. However it will nonetheless go into

The campaign aide who shared the Access Hollywood tape with Donald Trump says the video of the president demeaning women that made the rounds last year ´is of course real.´ Trump´s deputy campaign manager at the time, David Bossie, confirmed Monday that it is the sitting president in the hot mic recording from 2005 bragging that he´s entitled to grab women ´by the p***y´ because he´s a star. ´The president made a tape where he acknowledged having the locker room talk. And I think that that´s where it ends with him. It was all about the talk,´ Bossie said. When the damning

It´s not surprising that President Trump would choose to travel to Utah Monday alongside Sen. Orrin Hatch, a Republican who´s represented the state in the Senate for the last 40 years. But Trump has broader intentions than just taking Hatch for a ride aboard Air Force One and championing one of the senator´s causes: shrinking the national monuments of Bears Ears and Grand-Staircase Escalante. The president wants to keep former GOP nominee Mitt Romney out of the U.S. Senate. Romney, a Mormon with roots in the state who previously served as the governor of Massachusetts, has been mulling a run for Hatch´s

Golly. It’s one thing to suspend a reporter for making an incredibly damaging error of basic fact on air. But to remove him from covering a particular subject altogether? That’s the sort of thing you might do if you’d concluded he’s incapable of covering that topic fairly. If it’s an innocent mistake borne of carelessness, there’s no need to declare certain topics off-limits. You do that only when you think the reporter’s view of that topic will necessarily compromise his judgment. And if you’ve got a reporter like that on staff and the topic happens to be the president and

The smoke is clearing from an explosive Mueller investigation weekend of charges, chattering, and tweets. Before the next aftershock, it might be helpful to make three points about where things stand. In ascending order of importance, they are: 1.) There is a great deal of misinformation in the commentariat about how prosecutors build cases. 2.) For all practical purposes, the collusion probe is over. While the “counterintelligence” cover will continue to be exploited so that no jurisdictional limits are placed on Special Counsel Robert Mueller, this is now an obstruction investigation. 3.) That means it is, as it has always

WASHINGTON — Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, who almost certainly holds the crucial vote in the case of a Colorado baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple, sent sharply contradictory messages when it was argued Tuesday at the Supreme Court. He asked a lawyer for the Trump administration whether the baker, Jack Phillips, could put a sign in his window saying, “We don’t bake cakes for gay weddings.” The lawyer, Noel J. Francisco said yes, so long as the cakes were custom made. Justice Kennedy looked troubled and said the administration’s position was an affront to the dignity
