Special prosecutor Robert Mueller zeroed in on President Donald Trump’s business dealings with Deutsche Bank AG as his investigation into alleged Russian meddling in U.S. elections widens. Mueller issued a subpoena to Germany’s largest lender several weeks ago, forcing the bank to submit documents on its relationship with Trump and his family, according to a person briefed on the matter, who asked not to be identified because the action has not been announced. “Deutsche Bank always cooperates with investigating authorities in all countries,” the lender said in a statement to Bloomberg Tuesday, declining to provide additional information. Deutsche Bank for
Comments: Oh groan. Sorry to be repetitive, but this is just an outrageous witch hunt in search of a crime. I just get furious when I think that Sessions has allowed this. The reason for a special prosecutor is to investigate a crime that has been committed. There has been no crime!! It´s also outrageous that there are no restrictions on Mueller´s scope of investigation. I´m apoplectic over the destruction of our government.
Inquisitor Mueller, stooge of Clinton and BarackHussein, is making Deplorable Nation very, very, very, very, very angry. Believe me, stooge, you don´t want to mess with a very, very, very, very, very angry Deplorable Nation.
WHY are the Republican "leadership" doing nothing about this travesty? Can you imagine the Democrats if their president were being persecuted in this way, they would go crazy. Mueller and his "investigators" need to be investigated now.
Somewhere, there is an i not dotted or t not crossed.
In the course of running a multi-billion dollar global corporation, even the best and brightest will run afoul of the law somewhere. As I see it, Muller is going after process violations, since he cant prove collusion.
The day it was learned that the entire investigation is based on a lie concocted by Hillary´s campaign was the day it should have been stopped.
But since we missed that train Mueller should be called before Congress this morning to demonstrate the link to collusion between Trump and the Russians. Failure to identify that link should end it today, before noon.
According to the Swamp, one must be a card-carrying member of the Swamp in order to be allowed to be President. Famous internationally successful American-patriot business people with interests in dozens of countries must thereby be destroyed.
WE THE PEOPLE have other ideas however. Go POTUS GO, MAGA!!
This is exactly the same script the democrats used in Wisconsin to attempt to bring down Scott Walker. Middle of the night swat team raids on people (whose records/computers still have not been returned), constant leaks about how Walker is going down any day now. A witch hunt that began when Walker (as county executive)requested an investigation into theft from a charity. It rapidly metastasized into an investigation into ´illegal campaign co-ordination´ which was finally shut down by the courts being legal nonsense. Same play, different actors.
this investigation has gone past the ridiculous point. mr. trump, sir, shut it down....now. save the taxpayers a ton of money. let mueller and his attorneys find some other means of making a living. while you´r at it, clean house. fire every dang person associated with the obongo administration, down to the guy that winds the clocks in the white house. i hold you responsible for holding on to these people who are not on your side! you have the power!
A caller to Rush Limbaugh’s program yesterday pondered the possibility of President Trump and Robert Mueller working together to “weed out the FBI” and the Mike Flynn “thing” is a ruse. Rush was taken aback not having heard anything along the line of the President and Mueller working together. While it may be an outlandish scheme, perhaps there is, as has been previously suggested, a brilliant chess game unfolding designed to expose massive corruption within select government agencies that might otherwise have eluded the American electorate and allowed to continue undermining the foundation on which this historic nation was built.
Maybe Pres. Trump should hide these bank records in the WH until the statute of limitations is over, ala the Rose Law Firm Billing Records. Just another law Hillary broke for which she will never be prosecuted.
Clearly what the DC “Swamp” is doing is discouraging all future Republican businesspeople year showing them that if they run for President in the future that the Democrats will place them under a criminal investigation, and will rummage through their business affairs from years ago without predication, looking for any sort of suspected process crime that can be used against him or her. Until the Congress does away with Special Counsels we will continue to see Democrat inspired witch hunts reminiscent of the “Banana Republic” days designed to criminalize politics, anytime a Republican President is elected.
Mueller has jumped the shark with this! He has over-reached his dubious designated authority, apparently on his own politically driven witch hunt! The man who once appeared to be trustworthy instead has no ethics at all. -Stunning.
Sometimes a ‘Conspiracy Theory’ is not just a theory… Department of Justice Assoc. Deputy Attorney General Bruce G Ohr was demoted because he had working relationships with dossier author Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS; and -more importantly or perhaps ‘conveniently’- according to James Rosen, Bruce Ohr did not reveal his October 2016 contacts with MI6 agent Steele or Glenn Simpson (Fusion-GPS) to DOJ leadership. (LINK) (Snip) But wait, it doesn’t stop there… Mrs. Nellie Ohr was not only a Fusion GPS contracted employee, but she was also part of the CIA’s Open Source Works, in Washington DC (link) Both Mr. and Mrs
The chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on Monday demanded U.S nuclear regulators explain how a Russian-owned mining company was able to ship American uranium outside the country using a third-party export license. Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) said new information brought to light in a series of stories published by The Hill about Uranium One’s exports to Canada, Europe and Asia conflicts with assurances he was given years ago by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that the mining firm’s uranium would stay inside the United States. “Recent reporting by The Hill uncovered that Uranium One was able to export
If it seems like Seahawk defender Michael Bennett has a habit of finding himself in situations which do not become a Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner, that’s because he does. As the captioned tweet says, here’s Seattle’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award nominee, delivering a decidedly unsportsmanlike knee to the mid-section of a Jacksonville offensive lineman: (Snip) In this sequence, Bennett clearly tackles the player to the ground for no reason and then gives him a knee. That move resulted in Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette coming up and retaliating against Bennett, which led to
EXCLUSIVE: A senior Justice Department official demoted last week for concealing his meetings with the men behind the anti-Trump “dossier” had even closer ties to Fusion GPS, the firm responsible for the incendiary document, than have been disclosed, Fox News has confirmed: The official’s wife worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 election. Contacted by Fox News, investigators for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) confirmed that Nellie H. Ohr, wife of the demoted official, Bruce G. Ohr, worked for the opposition research firm last year. The precise nature of Mrs. Ohr’s duties – including whether she worked
Thousands of people will visit the White House for the holidays and take self-guided tour through executive mansion. Some will be visiting the White House as invited guests, others because their member of Congress booked them on a tour, and others will be there for an official function. However, they will all have something in common: The first thing they see when they enter the White House. Virtually all white house tours begin in the East wing. As visitors walk through security and up to the colonnade, the historic features of the White House are in full view. After entering the White
A man in Washington created a genius device to catch pesky thieves who steal packages from front porches. Jaireme Barrow, from Tacoma, Washington, was tired of people stealing his expensive Jeep parts and decided he ´wanted to even the playing field´ He created one of the earliest models trap - using 12-gauge shotgun blanks, fishing line, bricks, a wooden box-like, a small box, aluminum carrying vessel for the blanks, a small plate, and a cardbox box - and has filmed numerous wannabe thieves. (Snip) But the original model was not fool proof, and Barrow had to make a sign that
Donald Trump, according to his many critics, is the single most divisive, stupid, bigoted and unpopular president in American history. To say Trump is ‘polarizing’ is to massively understate the sheer enormity of hatred that exists toward the billionaire tycoon who won the White House just over a year ago. (Snip) Yet, there’s one thing even his most vociferous enemies – and that is a historically high volume of human beings – cannot continue to deny, and it’s this: Donald Trump delivers on his promises. Of course, in the main, they’re not promises his opponents actually wanted him to keep,
Fusion GPS bills itself as a corporate research firm, but in many ways it operates with the secrecy of a spy agency. No sign marks its headquarters above a coffee shop in Northwest Washington. Its website consists of two sentences and an email address. Its client list is closely held. The small firm has been under intense public scrutiny for producing the 35-page document known as the Trump dossier. Senior executives summoned to testify before Congress in October invoked their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, and the firm is resisting a congressional subpoena for bank records that would reveal who
The Supreme Court announced Monday that it was refusing to take up a case that could have expanded the prohibition on discrimination to include sexual orientation, declining to hear a case brought by a woman against her employer and leaving a legal jumble in place. Federal law doesn’t mention sexual orientation, but some appeals courts have read that language into the law anyway, while others have refused to take that step. That’s created a split where discriminating against gay or lesbian workers is illegal under federal law in some states, but not in others. The justices, without comment, declined to
One of Facebook’s earliest executives has said the social network is “destroying how society works" and that he feels “tremendous guilt” about his work. Chamath Palihapitiya, who joined Facebook in 2007, accused it of “programming” its users and said he no longer uses the website or allows his children to access it. “It literally is at a point now where I think we have created tools that are ripping apart the social fabric of how society works,” he told an audience at Stanford University. “We are in a really bad state of affairs right now in my opinion, it is
Autoplay: On | Off White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders sparred with reporters during her Monday briefing over errors made by media outlets in reports on President Trump. Sanders disputed the notion that mistakes made by news outlets were “honest mistakes” during a heated exchange with CNN’s Jim Acosta. "You cannot say it´s an honest mistake when you´re purposely putting out information you know is false," Sanders said. Sanders and Acosta talked over one another during the exchange. “I’m not finished,” she responded when reporter Brian Karem tried to cut in. The exchange with Acosta comes amid escalating tensions
CNN has quietly walked back more of their “bombshell” reporting on the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, and this time it’s a story relating to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ security clearance forms. In May, CNN reported that Sessions had failed to disclose meetings he had with the Russian ambassador when he was a senator. Justice Department officials told CNN that Sessions had not listed those meetings on a security clearance form, even though the form says to list “any contact” with the “foreign government” or its “representatives” in the past seven years. CNN framed the non-disclosures as more evidence of collusion between Russia and
The NFL protests have been lucrative for social justice charities — they´ll receive a whopping $89 million in "settlement" money, redirected from veterans and breast cancer charity funds — but they´re also becoming a boon for cash-strapped football fans. It turns out, if you can still stomach a professional football game, you can now get tickets for about the same price as a couple of Starbucks lattes. According to Vivid Seats, an NFL ticket reselling site, seat prices at most NFL stadiums have bottomed out, leaving fans able to snag a lower level seat for a Buffalo Bills game for
The family of the alleged ISIS-inspired Port Authority bomber said they were “heartbroken” by the attack on Monday and blasted law enforcement agencies for what they claimed were heavy-handed tactics by investigators. “We are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,” said the statement read by Albert Fox Cahn, the Legal Director for the NY Chapter Council for Islamic Relations. “But we’re also outraged by the behavior of the law enforcement officials who held children as small as 4 years old out in the
In 1990, when liberal journalists still had some sense of obligation to the truth, Michael Kelly wrote the following for GQ: As [Carla] Gaviglio enters the room, the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound [Sen. Ted] Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on [Sen. Chris] Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. (snip) Here is what McCaskill had to say about Kennedy´s behavior upon his death
On Monday, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour President Donald Trump should resign over the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gillibrand said, “President Trump should resign. These allegations are credible, they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking. And President Trump should resign his position.” She added, “Whether he will ever hold himself accountable is something you really can’t hold your breath for. And so, Congress should have hearings. They should do their investigation. They should have appropriate investigations of his behavior and hold him accountable.”
A supposed "rising star" at the State Department has resigned in anger over President Trump´s and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson´s policies. Elizabeth Shackelford gave her resignation letter to the left-leaning Foreign Policy magazine, which was, of course, all too happy to publish it. Shackelford´s letter says she believes the new administration has abandoned human rights as a priority, and shows disdain for the State Department´s diplomatic work. "I have deep respect for the career Foreign and Civil Service staff who, despite the stinging disrespect this Administration has shown our profession, continue the struggle to keep our foreign policy on the positive
A heartbreaking video of a young boy pleading to be left alone by bullies has gone viral and celebrities are offering him their support.Keaton Jones, of Knoxville, Tennessee, asked his mother, Kimberly Jones, a question that so many people would like the answer too. ´Just out of curiosity, why do they bully? What´s the point of it? Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them,´ Keaton asked his mother through tears. ´It´s not okay,´ he said. (Video/Photos) His mother then asked: ´What did they say to you?´ ´They make fun
The rules of interaction between women and men in the workplace have been changed with a suddenness that inevitably produces unforeseen negative consequences, no matter how positive and necessary the switch might be. (snip) With the stakes so high, given the presumption of female veracity and male culpability anytime an objection is raised, men are, frankly, terrified. Get used to it, ladies. That is the other side of the coin of the new normal. The old norms that men (often cluelessly) incorporated into their behavior now have been discarded, but we have no clear understanding of what should replace them. By
President Trump attacked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) in a sexually suggestive tweet Tuesday morning that implied Gillibrand would do just about anything for money, prompting a swift and immediate backlash. “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Charles E. Schumer and someone who would come to my office ´begging´ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump,” the president wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
A suspect is in custody following an explosion at one of New York City’s busiest transit hubs in Times Square during Monday morning’s rush hour, police said. The bombing suspect was identified as Akayed Ullah, 27, according to New York Police Commissioner James O’Neill. Ullah had an explosive device strapped to his body, O’Neill said. What do we know about the suspect? Law enforcement sources told Fox News Ullah lives in Brooklyn. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said the explosion was an “attempted terrorist attack.” Sources told the Associated Press that Ullah may be of Bangladeshi descent. What else do we know about the
Several women who have accused US President Donald Trump of sexual assault and harassment were expected Monday to call on Congress to open an investigation. A press conference by the women will be hosted by Brave New Films, a media company that recently produced a clip detailing sexual harassment or assault claims by 16 women against Trump. A press release from Brave New Films on Sunday said the women would relate their accounts of Trump’s alleged “groping, fondling, forcibly kissing, humiliating, and harassing women.” The White House has dismissed all of the accusations as lies. During Trump’s presidential campaign, more than
One of the more obvious things about the Trump economy is how much better it is than the Obama economy. Yet incredibly, President Obama, as if jealously looking on at this night-and-day difference, is trying to claim credit for it. From the Washington Times: Former President Barack Obama is taking credit for the robust economic growth that is taking place under President Trump. At a conference of mayors in Chicago, Mr. Obama congratulated himself Tuesday for strong employment numbers in the U.S. this year, saying his climate-change policies have contributed to growth.
President Donald Trump said Monday a bomb blast in Manhattan highlights the need for an immigration overhaul - as the man arrested was revealed to be part of a large Bangladeshi family sponsored by his aunt or uncle. Trump said that the U.S. ´must fix its lax immigration system, which allows far too many dangerous, inadequately vetted people´ into the country. The Republican president pointed to his controversial travel ban as an example of the kind of policy that needs to be put in place. And he called on Congress to end ´chain migration,´ in which family members are permitted to join relatives
