...yawn...

Uninhibited by faith and law, men can indeed be monstrous. Which is why we find these types almost exclusively amongst the entitled, the unbelieving and churchless, and among followers of religions where women are stripped of their humanity.

And the NYT has no clue about what they just revealed. About themselves and about their most prestigious allies.

A gentleman is a man who knows what thoughts should remain unspoken, what urges should not be acted upon.

There´s something to be said for the strong silent type.

Males lie.

And females lie. And liberals lie. And conservatives lie.

This is why our forefathers instituted separations of powers. Even for those whose theology wasn´t Biblical Christianity, they were plenty well-informed about human nature by history and experience.

Sometimes I´ve resented people posting Bible verses willy-nilly, but I John 1:8 is as practical a caveat today as ever:

"If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us."

Yes, all men are liars and sexual perverts preying on women. That has been the Democrat mantra about white males for at least 2 generations. Now that we see how many Democrat men are liars and sexual perverts, one can see why Democrats think that about men. Unfortunately, it isn´ttrue for the vast majority of white males and they are showing their disagreement with Democrats by no longer voting for Dems.

The Left has never liked masculinity. It has sought to feminize men from day one. Feminizing men turns them into passive, compliant creatures who can be manipulated into doing as they are told.

At heart, the Left´s cause celebre is feminism. Feminism paved the way for gay rights. Gay rights paved the way for "transgenderism". The common thread is the diminution of the masculine quality.

The visceral hatred that the Left has for manly qualities cannot be underestimated.

Our young people are told that humans are feral beasts who cannot help themselves, which means that they will have sex no matter what, requiring birth control, abortion and explicit sex education on demand. Now they are told that anything does NOT go and how trying to go from first to second base with a woman is sexual assault.

I think men should give it up and all join monasteries, or if they can´t stamp out their inner beasts, become Muslims and behave as their hero, Muhammed, would wish. If bad behavior is "cultural" it seems to get a pass, especially from feminists.

"The crisis we are approaching is fundamental: How can healthy sexuality ever occur in conditions in which men and women are not equal? "

Well Stevie men and women are not equal, they are of equal merit and value but healthy sexuality is quite dependent on not being equal.

":How are we supposed to create an equal world when male mechanisms of desire are inherently brutal?"

Slow down there big fella what the hell are you talking about? You are welcome to have your personal confession but don´t project that on the rest of us.

Men, left to our own devices tend degenerate into near animals. This has been shown time after time. It has been the moderating and civilizing influences of women, traditional marriage and (proper) religion that keeps us human.

You can see this in our not too distant past where western boom towns were just this side of Sodom and Gomorrah. Married shop-keepers arrived and wanting to send for their wives and families, they set about cleaning the towns up, "as no decent woman" would set foot in them.

The advent of the "sexual revolution" and "Feminism" in the 1960´s, women have been taught to be just a coarse as men and religion has been progressively pushed from the public consciousness. As a result, we see the coarsening of society and the degeneration of (some) men (and some women, too).
