UCLA basketball players LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were arrested in China for shoplifting while attending basketball tournament. UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero said the players stole from three stores in China including sunglasses stolen by LiAngelo Ball from a Louis Vitton store. They were facing 10 years in prison. President Trump asked President Xi Jinping for leniency. The three players were released. Thug life on display – After watching this bizarro interview with his father I can completely understand why LiAngelo Ball thought it would be perfectly okay to shoplift in China and live a life beyond

First time I´ve ever seen Chris Cuomo. They´re both nearly as smart as a bag of hammers.

I believe this mentality is politically correct societies fault and shoplifting is nothing new to Ball he has probably been getting away with it for a long time.

From what I understand today most stores and store security will look the other way for minority shoplifting particularly if they are Black unless it is overtly blatant.

For the retail industry it is usually better to write of the loss than deal with with racial profiling claims, bad publicity and the rest of the PC correct drama that goes along with it.

Instead they focus on White shoplifters and raise the cost of merchandise to offset theft by others.

The socialists need to (re)educate the Ball family on this: it´s okay to steal in *capitalist* countries, but China is *communist*, so you´re stealing from the people, which is wrong. In America, the capitalists have already stolen from the people, so it´s okay to steal it back. Have I got that right?

He is parroting the "relative morality" narrative that has been peddled by liberals for decades.

LeVar claims that committing crimes is permissible as long as no one is hurt; it´s all relative. LeVar, I have news for you - crime is crime, theft is theft. They all are wrong, they all abuse the rights of others and have consequences.

LeVar is a childish punk!

Nation of thieves. Visit Mexico and see a country where houses are surrounded by walls with concertina wire or broken glass embedded in the top of the wall to discourage home invaders. They´ll steal anything that isn´t embedded in concrete. They´ll steal a lamp post to get at the bicycle to which it is locked. We are becoming Mexico.

No, they were not $10 glasses, they were Designer costing hundreds of dollars! But the Baby Daddy says it was no Big Deal and many of us think the Daddy is no Big Deal even though he thinks he is!

What does LeVar do for a living? If he works for a living, I would bet he would go ballistic if someone stole something from him. If he get´s his money from the "Dole"- welfare, SS disavility, etc, then he probably is indifferent if someone steals from him. ´Da monee is free so what´s da big deal? Right?´

Crap games around the corner, bettin´ on BB, makin´ some ´divide´, That weekend fea market full of shop lifted goods is all the rage. Buy some had shine fo´ a dolla.

See, it is a whole culture. An entire society that lives this way and so their values are completely different from the old, outdated, Judaeo/Christian/Western European ethnic of working hard, making a life and raising a family.

The Johnson "Great Society" "Gimmi votes, I gib you all kind´a free stuff" plan is what created this disaster. Now we have millions of people just like LeVar- easily manipulated, under educated freeloaders who have the moral compass of a weasel. And they get paid extra for making more people just like him.

I think this subject aligns itself with the NFL protests. If a person has no respect for their own country, how will that person handle being in a foreign country. Will they have respect for that country?

This "anything goes" mentality is getting old but what do you expect after eight years of President Obama with the same attitude. It really does trickle down.

This country is truly having to recover from immature presidents and that includes George W. Bush.

I just heard on the Chris Plante show that the total value of the stolen items was $6,000. Even in the US that is felony level robbery.

I bet LaVar still can’t understand why blacks have a certain reputation which makes people of other races avoid them and makes security officers follow them around in store. And that doesn’t even speak to the looting, the burning, the riots and the flash mobs.

It’s too bad that PDT can’t send daddy to China to do time for his son and his pals - 30 years in a Chinese prison might teach him some humility and some manners. If he survives, that is,

By essentially claiming that in contemporary US ghetto black culture that “Stealin’ Be Ok, No Big Deal” that guy is putting the world on notice that when American black people are in their countries that those black Americans should be closely watched, at least while shopping in stores, to ensure that they do not shoplift of otherwise help themselves to items of value without paying. Unfortunately a lot of the people who will be hurt by that sure to be stereotyping are going to be honest American black people who have no intention of violating foreign laws.

Å nonentity himself,

Although Ball alone initially received minimal public attention before much of 2016, his sons gave him a media platform that he would begin to use increasingly, starting at the end of the year. In July 2015, LaVar and his sons made national sports headlines when Gary Parrish of CBS Sports wrote a feature story about the Ball family.[19] In a March 2016 interview with MaxPreps, he first began displaying his arrogant personality to the public. When asked who Lonzo plays like, he described his son as "Magic (Johnson) with a jumper."[7] The family continued rising in popularity after SLAM magazine featured them in an article in August 2016.[1] Subsequently, Ball himself rapidly rose in profile through a series of incredible comments about his children…(Snip)

On April 20, George Raveling, the global basketball sports marketing director of Nike, called Ball "the worst thing to happen to basketball in the last hundred years."[33][34] In response, Ball claimed that Big Baller Brand would eventually compete with Nike[34] In the following week, Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas declined to sign an endorsement deal with Lonzo, according to LaVar.[35][36]

California´s governor has said that deadly wildfires in the winter will be ´the new normal´, as fire crews rushed to contain the fires, with dry desert winds expected to intensify over the weekend. Governor Jerry Brown on Saturday toured Ventura County neighborhoods ravaged by a weeklong wildfire that killed at least one person and destroyed hundreds of homes and other buildings. At a news conference, the Democrat said drought and climate change mean California faces a ´new reality´ where lives and property are continually threatened by fire, at a cost of billions of dollars. He added that gusty winds and

There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments. Such is the case for me when it comes to the Republican Party and evangelicalism. I’ve been a part of both for my entire adult life. These days, though, in many important ways they are having harmful effects on our society. The latest example is in Alabama, where Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate, stands accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by nine women, including one who was 14 years old at the time. Mr. Moore leads in most

An award-winning U.S. diplomat who was seen as a rising star at the State Department has issued a scathing resignation letter, accusing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Donald Trump administration of undercutting the State Department and damaging America’s influence in the world. Elizabeth Shackelford, who most recently served as a political officer based in Nairobi for the U.S. mission to Somalia, wrote to Tillerson that she reluctantly had decided to quit because the administration had abandoned human rights as a priority and shown disdain for the State Department’s diplomatic work,

Prior to President Donald Trump’s visit to the opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum today, Fox & Friends brought on Trump supporter and former sheriff David Clarke to discuss the president’s appearance. And things got very tense very fast. Right off the bat, co-host Pete Hegseth asked Clarke what he thought about Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), a civil rights icon, deciding not to attend the opening because Trump would be in attendance. Clarke reacted by immediately dismissing Lewis. “John who?” Clarke mocking stated. “John Lewis — he was bloodied on the Selma bridge, Sheriff, when trying to protest voting

Sen. Richard Shelby says he wants a Republican elected to the Senate on Tuesday to represent Alabama, but that he didn’t vote for GOP candidate Roy Moore in the special election. The Alabama Republican said he’s already cast his ballot, and that he chose a write-in candidate. “I’d rather see the Republican win, but I’d rather see a Republican write-in. I couldn’t vote for Roy Moore. I didn’t vote for Roy Moore,” Shelby told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union.” Moore has been accused of pursuing sexual relationships with teenagers when he was in his 30s. In some

Short of impeaching President Trump, does anything excite Democrats, the Resistance, and NeverTrumpers like the prospect of the president firing special counsel Robert Mueller? Firing Mueller would, or course, be the quickest way for Trump to get impeached, which might explain a certain air of anticipation in discussions of whether — some prefer to say when -- Trump will sack the prosecutor leading the Trump-Russia investigation. There has been a lot of news and commentary recently interpreting criticism of Mueller by a number of pro-Trump media voices as an effort to encourage Trump to fire Mueller, or lay the groundwork for

California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) says President Trump´s stance on climate change demonstrates that he does not appear to fear the "wrath of God" or have any regard for the "existential consequences" of his climate change policies. “I don’t think President Trump has a fear of the Lord, the fear of the wrath of God, which leads one to more humility ... this is such a reckless disregard for the truth and for the existential consequences that can be unleashed,” Brown said in an interview on CBS´s "60 Minutes," which is set to air on Sunday. Brown, who previously studied to become

Loose dentures? More like loose screws. Donald Trump was slurring his words pretty good last week for a guy who fancied himself an expert when it came to Hillary Clinton’s alleged brain damage. What would he make of his own slurred speech and bizarre behavior? brain tumor from the weight of that massive combover sitting on top of his head like a live farm animal? Simply slurred speech because his thoughts are so fantastic that his mouth can’t keep up?

WASHINGTON — Around 5:30 each morning, President Trump wakes and tunes into the television in the White House’s master bedroom. He flips to CNN for news, moves to “Fox & Friends” for comfort and messaging ideas, and sometimes watches MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” because, friends suspect, it fires him up for the day. Energized, infuriated — often a gumbo of both — Mr. Trump grabs his iPhone. Sometimes he tweets while propped on his pillow, according to aides. Other times he tweets from the den next door, watching another television. Less frequently, he makes his way up the hall to the
