Kathy Griffin is back with another unhinged rant, blaming Hollywood, Trump and Fox News for her complete career self-decapitation.Griffin saw both her comedic and television hosting career go into free fall after posing with a picture of President Trump’s severed head. Griffin was subsequently fired by CNN and had several gigs canceled in the toxic political fallout from the stunt. Now, Griffin is asking for sympathy for being poor from an austere hotel room in Europe in the middle of her world tour.In a raw video posted to her YouTube page, Griffin complains that Hollywood does not want her anymore and
If she´s looking for sympathy, she´s not getting any here. Poor Barron actually thought it was real.
Kathy is learning the hard way that actions have consequences. If she doesn´t want to take the gigs offered her, she can get a real job and might actually begin to understand what it is like to have to work for a living. It will definitely be a humbling experience for her. I guess her liberal bubble just got popped!
...she may have recovered her career if after having made her apology she had just gone dark for a while and then used some form of humor to explain having been such an ass. Americans have been known to forgive...
...but not Kathy, she withdraws her apology and goes on the attack against everything and everyone, playing the VICTIM. She looks now like someone who is abusing any substance she can get her hands on...
...if our country is blessed, PDT will be re-elected to a second term and Kathy will never have a chance to recover...
I really like Kathy but I´m with #5 on this one. The girl has some issues but she really handled this entire situation poorly. She´s completely to blame. Coming to that realization is very unlikely. Kathy is finished as an entertainer (damn it).
Posing with a picture of the severed head of a US president, regardless of political party, is never acceptable.
Unless someone else dreamed up that photo shoot, paid for the graphics & held a gun to her head to pose with it, she has no one to blame but herself. The general public has been told too often that there´s no such thing as bad publicity, so blaming a news outlet is disingenuous. That the outcome didn´t have the result she wanted should be a wake-up call to reevaluate her schtick.
She had this photo taken and wanted publicity for something she thought was really funny and people would love it. So what does FOXNEWS do? They give her the publicity she WANTED and suddenly, when her career went into the sewer, it´s because of FOXNEWS!
Seems she´s sold her house. http://variety.com/2017/dirt/real-estalker/kathy-griffin-hollywood-hills-mansion-sold-1202619945/
She paid $2.85 mil. and got almost $4.5 mil. so I´d say that gives her enough money to afford the trailer park rent for the rest of her life. Karma smacked her hard and quick - it´s been a joy to watch (except for the parts where I hear Kathy´s voice before I can hit mute).
the rambling weirdness of her rant coupled with her appearance suggested to me where her money is going. I suspect some of the profit from the house sale will end up trickling down to colombian peasants
It´s more pathetic and embarrassing than anything else. She is clearly disturbed if she thinks that she is the most persecuted woman in the world, but that isn´t the point: She doesn´t yet understand that her actions deserve consequences.
Look at the background in her house. That doesn´t look like someone who is suffering all that much. It looks like someone who knows no humility or remorse. She blames everyone else and then complains about her legal bills while refusing to stoop so low as to reduce her standard of living and go back to a lower-paying form of entertaining. And then there´s the profanity - gratuitous, but revealing of her utter lack of grace and gentility.
I feel sorry for her, I truly do. But everybody gets justice -- in this world or the next.
So why doesn´t the left and all the anti Trumpers want her? She should be their heroin. There´s no such thing as jumping the shark when it comes to the left´s Trump vitriol. Perhaps victimisation isn´t the right aura for comedians. Give it a few years Kathy.
One of the biggest problems of our society is a refusal to accept the consequences of our actions and take responsibility. We see it in Kathy Griffin, Colon Kaepernick, Hillary Clinton, among many examples.
She was obnoxious and crossed a big bold line. All Fox did is report on it. Trump took no significant action that I am aware of, even if the government took some automatic investigatory actions as they do when someone threatens the president. They apparently concluded, correctly, that she is just a mouthy idiot.
If LIBERAL Hollyweird has blacklisted her, maybe she should be talking with her former friends who have cut her out. If she had stuck with a pink p**** hat she would have been happily spewing her version of humor today.
Well Kathy, unfortunately for you, you chose a career which depends on consumers wanting to buy what you are selling. They don´t want it so, get another job. I hear there are many openings in fast food.
Kathy, you made this bed. You have to sleep in it now. It´s that simple in the adult world.
Kathy has taken her 15 minutes of infamy and turned it into about and hour and a half. But it´s over. She is an embarrassment to herself, and even LIE-berals are telling her to shut since she is embarrassing them along with herself.
But, sadly, you know she won´t listen to logic, reason or facts -- all of which make her look like the idiot LIE-beral that she truly is!!!!
The family of the alleged ISIS-inspired Port Authority bomber said they were “heartbroken” by the attack on Monday and blasted law enforcement agencies for what they claimed were heavy-handed tactics by investigators. “We are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,” said the statement read by Albert Fox Cahn, the Legal Director for the NY Chapter Council for Islamic Relations. “But we’re also outraged by the behavior of the law enforcement officials who held children as small as 4 years old out in the
GOP senatorial nominee Judge Roy Moore will throw a rally Monday night, on the eve of Election Day, in Midland City, Alabama. Breitbart News’ Executive Chairman and former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon will join Moore, as well as Sheriff David Clarke, Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-TX), and other local speakers. Moore is campaigning against Democratic nominee Doug Jones in a special election to fill U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ former Senate seat. The event is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. local).
Fox News is back in action with the single most ridiculous, psy-op engineered, agenda polls in the last several years…. and coming from a CTH community that has reviewed hundreds of media polls in the past 5 years, that’s quite a statement. Consider:(Photos) (Emerson Poll Link) -vs-(Fox News Poll Link)Both of these cannot be correct. The margin of error claimed is +/- 2.5%. There is a NINETEEN point difference between both Alabama Polls. However, only ONE is a media driven agenda poll. Can you guess which one? Yes, once again, the Rupert Murdoch clan are up to their media-polling tricks
President Trump has understandable reasons for distrusting the U.S. intelligence community, according to a former CIA official who led the agency under former President Barack Obama. Mike Morell, who served as acting director of the CIA from 2012-2013, took some of the blame for Trump’s feud with the CIA. Morell lamented that he failed to consider how Trump would consider his endorsement for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, especially when paired with other officials’ criticisms and a series of unflattering leaks. “And [Trump] could rightfully have said, ‘Huh, what’s going on with these intelligence guys?’ Right?” Morell told Politico’s Susan
A small business in Oberlin, Ohio, popular with denizens of Oberlin College is facing accusations of racism and protests after three black students were arrested November 2016 for assaulting a white shopkeeper and stealing bottles of wine. After being labeled as a “racist establishment,” by a senior dean at the college, the family owned business, Gibson’s Bakery, says it has no choice but to sue the college and Meredith Raimondo, vice president and dean of students, for slander, the Associated Press reported. The dispute happened after the 18-and-19-year-old students tried purchasing alcohol with a fake id. After the shopkeeper denied
Former President Obama and his vice president, Joe Biden, each provided last-minute help to fellow Democrat Doug Jones in Tuesday’s Alabama Senate election, but the candidate is keeping quiet about it. Obama and Biden recorded robocalls urging Alabama voters to cast ballots for Jones in his contest against Republican Roy Moore. But Jones denied knowing whose calls his campaign was placing to voters. “I don’t know what’s being used,” he told reporters on Monday. Obama could be especially helpful in motivating African Americans to vote for Jones — and against Moore, who has questioned whether the nation’s first black president was
Fearless warrior Sarah Huckabee Sanders wasn’t having it with the liberals snakes in the press pool Monday morning and blasted the fake news media. (Photo) Sarah Sanders defended President Trump for calling out the fake news media. The liars in the mainstream media have gone into high gear in the last couple weeks rolling out huge ‘bombshell’ stories that turn out to be colossal lies. This is no accident. Very fake news CNN’s Jim Acosta then comes in and claims real journalists make honest mistakes and that “doesn’t make them fake news”. Sanders responded by saying if journalists make mistakes
CNN responded on Monday to President Donald Trump’s criticism of its anchor, Don Lemon, accusing the president of setting a bad example for children. “In a world where bullies torment kids on social media to a devastating effect on a regular basis with insults and name-calling, it is sad to see our president engaging in the very same behavior himself,” a CNN spokesperson said in a statement to Breitbart News. “Leaders should lead by example.” The president wrote on Twitter Monday morning that reports that he watched Lemon’s show were false. “I never watch Don Lemon, who I once called
Star political reporter Ryan Lizza is out at The New Yorker over what the magazine calls “improper sexual conduct.” “The New Yorker recently learned that Ryan Lizza engaged in what we believe was improper sexual conduct. We have reviewed the matter and, as a result, have severed ties with Lizza,” a New Yorker spokesperson said (h/t Michael Calderone). “Due to a request for privacy, we are not commenting further.” One of Lizza’s biggest scoops this year was key to deep-sixing Anthony Scaramucci’s short career as White House communications director. In a July conversation with Lizza, the Mooch ranted about his colleagues
NBC is currently in full Kill Roy Moore and Donald Trump mode. It was fascinating watching those moments from Sunday’s Meet the Press as host Chuck Todd and his one-sided panel piously blasted away at Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore and his supporters. Ann Althouse put it best, describing the whole charade as “cheesy emoting in the Theater of Sanctimony.” What struck me even more was the hypocrisy, because Todd’s own employer, NBC, has become a haven for homophobes, accused sex abusers, and their enablers. On top of that, NBC’s Megyn Kelly, who says she fled Fox News in part
Residents in a Paris neighborhood have threatened to launch a hunger strike if authorities don’t remove migrants sleeping on the streets. Locals accuse the migrants of trashing the sidewalks and harassing women. A neighborhood association has given authorities until Jan. 1 to tackle the problem before members go on a hunger strike.“The pavement is sometimes soaked in urine and the streets aren’t cleaned every day,” Pierre Vuarin, a spokesman for the neighborhood association, told The Telegraph Sunday. “Some people have sold their flats at knockdown prices and others have suffered mental breakdowns.”President Emmanuel Macron recently vowed to clear the streets
President Donald Trump campaigned in Pensacola, Florida on Friday night to push his agenda and encourage Alabama Republicans to support of Republican Roy Moore on Tuesday. (Snip) President Trump cut a robocall this weekend in support of Roy Moore. Trump is hoping the Republican is elected to help push his agenda. Republican elites hope Moore is defeated and the Democrat wins. Here’s the transcript: Hi, this is President Donald Trump and I need Alabama to go vote for Roy Moore. It is so important. We’re already making America great again. I’m going to make America safer, and stronger, and better
MONTGOMERY, Alabama — Frank Luntz, a GOP establishment messaging consultant, was visibly flabbergasted as every single one of his focus group participants in a Birmingham area Vice News-produced panel backed Judge Roy Moore for U.S. Senate. Titled “Why These Alabama Voters Are Sticking By Roy Moore,” Luntz’s Vice News focus group aired on Vice News Tonight on Dec. 8 on HBO. “Are you all Christians here?” Luntz opens the seven-and-a-half-minute long segment. “Yes,” all of the focus group participants, who joined Luntz in a Birmingham area restaurant, replied. “Is Roy Moore a good Christian?” he followed up. “Yes,” one woman replied. “Absolutely,” another said. “Absolutely?”
California´s governor has said that deadly wildfires in the winter will be ´the new normal´, as fire crews rushed to contain the fires, with dry desert winds expected to intensify over the weekend. Governor Jerry Brown on Saturday toured Ventura County neighborhoods ravaged by a weeklong wildfire that killed at least one person and destroyed hundreds of homes and other buildings. At a news conference, the Democrat said drought and climate change mean California faces a ´new reality´ where lives and property are continually threatened by fire, at a cost of billions of dollars. He added that gusty winds and
An award-winning U.S. diplomat who was seen as a rising star at the State Department has issued a scathing resignation letter, accusing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Donald Trump administration of undercutting the State Department and damaging America’s influence in the world. Elizabeth Shackelford, who most recently served as a political officer based in Nairobi for the U.S. mission to Somalia, wrote to Tillerson that she reluctantly had decided to quit because the administration had abandoned human rights as a priority and shown disdain for the State Department’s diplomatic work,
There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments. Such is the case for me when it comes to the Republican Party and evangelicalism. I’ve been a part of both for my entire adult life. These days, though, in many important ways they are having harmful effects on our society. The latest example is in Alabama, where Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate, stands accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by nine women, including one who was 14 years old at the time. Mr. Moore leads in most
The NFL protests have been lucrative for social justice charities — they´ll receive a whopping $89 million in "settlement" money, redirected from veterans and breast cancer charity funds — but they´re also becoming a boon for cash-strapped football fans. It turns out, if you can still stomach a professional football game, you can now get tickets for about the same price as a couple of Starbucks lattes. According to Vivid Seats, an NFL ticket reselling site, seat prices at most NFL stadiums have bottomed out, leaving fans able to snag a lower level seat for a Buffalo Bills game for
Sen. Richard Shelby says he wants a Republican elected to the Senate on Tuesday to represent Alabama, but that he didn’t vote for GOP candidate Roy Moore in the special election. The Alabama Republican said he’s already cast his ballot, and that he chose a write-in candidate. “I’d rather see the Republican win, but I’d rather see a Republican write-in. I couldn’t vote for Roy Moore. I didn’t vote for Roy Moore,” Shelby told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union.” Moore has been accused of pursuing sexual relationships with teenagers when he was in his 30s. In some
In 1990, when liberal journalists still had some sense of obligation to the truth, Michael Kelly wrote the following for GQ: As [Carla] Gaviglio enters the room, the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound [Sen. Ted] Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on [Sen. Chris] Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. (snip) Here is what McCaskill had to say about Kennedy´s behavior upon his death
Short of impeaching President Trump, does anything excite Democrats, the Resistance, and NeverTrumpers like the prospect of the president firing special counsel Robert Mueller? Firing Mueller would, or course, be the quickest way for Trump to get impeached, which might explain a certain air of anticipation in discussions of whether — some prefer to say when -- Trump will sack the prosecutor leading the Trump-Russia investigation. There has been a lot of news and commentary recently interpreting criticism of Mueller by a number of pro-Trump media voices as an effort to encourage Trump to fire Mueller, or lay the groundwork for
A heartbreaking video of a young boy pleading to be left alone by bullies has gone viral and celebrities are offering him their support.Keaton Jones, of Knoxville, Tennessee, asked his mother, Kimberly Jones, a question that so many people would like the answer too. ´Just out of curiosity, why do they bully? What´s the point of it? Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them,´ Keaton asked his mother through tears. ´It´s not okay,´ he said. (Video/Photos) His mother then asked: ´What did they say to you?´ ´They make fun
The rules of interaction between women and men in the workplace have been changed with a suddenness that inevitably produces unforeseen negative consequences, no matter how positive and necessary the switch might be. (snip) With the stakes so high, given the presumption of female veracity and male culpability anytime an objection is raised, men are, frankly, terrified. Get used to it, ladies. That is the other side of the coin of the new normal. The old norms that men (often cluelessly) incorporated into their behavior now have been discarded, but we have no clear understanding of what should replace them. By
A suspect is in custody following an explosion at one of New York City’s busiest transit hubs in Times Square during Monday morning’s rush hour, police said. The bombing suspect was identified as Akayed Ullah, 27, according to New York Police Commissioner James O’Neill. Ullah had an explosive device strapped to his body, O’Neill said. What do we know about the suspect? Law enforcement sources told Fox News Ullah lives in Brooklyn. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said the explosion was an “attempted terrorist attack.” Sources told the Associated Press that Ullah may be of Bangladeshi descent. What else do we know about the
Loose dentures? More like loose screws. Donald Trump was slurring his words pretty good last week for a guy who fancied himself an expert when it came to Hillary Clinton’s alleged brain damage. What would he make of his own slurred speech and bizarre behavior? brain tumor from the weight of that massive combover sitting on top of his head like a live farm animal? Simply slurred speech because his thoughts are so fantastic that his mouth can’t keep up?
