Before officially pardoning his first Thanksgiving Turkey, the Minnesota-bred Drumstick, on Tuesday,President Trump joked that he looked into revoking President Obama´s turkey pardon from last year. Trump, standing alongside first lady Melania Trump and his 11-year-old son Barron, pointed out that in his first ten months in office he´s worked to overturn the executive actions of his predecessor, President Obama. ´However, I have been informed by the White House counsel´s office that Tater and Tot´s pardon cannot, under any circumstances, be revoked,´ the president joked, name-dropping the heir and the spare of last year´s turkey pardon. President Trump got some compliments for his steel-clad leadership from one veteran observer who recognizes the value in a bold and forthright American leader on the global stage.Donald Rumsfeld, who served as secretary of defense under former Presidents Gerald Ford and George W. Bush, offered insight on Mr. Trump and the potential threat of Russia and China. “I don’t know President Trump. I’ve never met him. But I certainly think that his demeanor in the presidency is a deterrent to those two countries,” Mr. Rumsfeld told Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Thursday. “He’s not tucked in and worried and

Speaking at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Friday, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley refused to back down from the United States’ commitment to recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, asserting, ““We must recognize that the prospect of peace is advanced, not set back,” by President Trump’s move to do so. She said bluntly, “I understand the concerns that members have in calling this session. Change is hard.” She added that the United States was more committed to peace “than we’ve ever been before — and we believe we might be closer to that goal than ever before.”The declaration

Liberal reporters and hosts are closing out the year with a bang, spending the last month damning Donald Trump as an “unhinged” “sociopathic” mental case who was comparable to Charles Manson and Osama Bin Laden. Also, journalists like CNN’s Brian Stelter and former CBS Evening News anchor Dan Rather continued to get on their high-horse as they proclaimed they were the “Pro-Truth” guardians against Trump’s “unrelenting campaign against the press.”Excuses were also made for liberal Senator Al Franken, after he was accused of groping radio talk show host Leann Tweeden or as MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt called it a “mock” grope.

According to Reuters, both the judge and the Flynn legal team have yet to comment.Additionally, there is no concrete answer as to whether the recusal was done by the judge himself or was forced upon him. While the reasoning is the key, the difference between the two options adds another layer of consequence within the rest of this outline. The US economy added 228,000 nonfarm payrolls in November, more than economists had forecast, a report on Friday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed. The unemployment rate remained near a 17-year low of 4.1%. Overall, the report demonstrated that job creation remained strong even after deadly hurricanes slammed into the southeastern US this fall and temporarily weakened hiring. Economists had forecast that nonfarm payrolls increased by 195,000 on net, while the unemployment rate remained at 4.1%, according to Bloomberg. Wage growth was weaker than expected. Average hourly earnings rose 0.2% from October, and increased by 2.5% compared to November 2016.

Rumors that the Republican National Committee was built on the site of an ancient moron burial ground gained new credence this week when it confirmed that it was renewing its support for Alabama´s Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore. Mr. Conyers, in an interview Wednesday, tried to head off a possibly disqualifying scandal just a day after his father resigned from Congress amid multiplying allegations of sexual harassment. As issues of sexual harassment and abuse roil Washington, any violent altercation against a woman could doom his effort to take the seat that his father held since 1965. Al Franken’s resignation speech on Thursday seemed less heartfelt than grudging. He cast it not as an act of atonement — he continues to deny the charges largely and acknowledged through his stifled rage that his previous quasi-apologies had hastened his demise — but a reluctant act of gallantry. He was submitting docilely to the “broader conversation” on sexual harassment, he said, while signaling that his replacement, to whom he referred as “her,” would be a female pol embodying that conversation. The speech followed the usual pattern of lying pols: I didn’t do it, I’m only quitting because I am a

How is it possible that Hillary Clinton escaped criminal indictment for mishandling classified documents despite incriminating evidence that she violated the Espionage Act? Why did Donald Trump become the target of a criminal investigation for allegedly conspiring with Russia to influence the presidential election despite no evidence that he ever did so? The answer, it seems, comes down to one person who played a vital role in both cases: Peter Strzok, deputy director of counterintelligence at the FBI. Strzok was exchanging politically charged texts with an FBI lawyer that denigrated Trump and lauded Clinton at the same time he was
