A Department of Homeland Security official resigned Thursday after a report revealed he had made racist remarks in past radio interviews. The Rev. Jamie Johnson, director of the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at DHS, said in a 2008 radio show that the black community had turned “America´s major cities into slums because of laziness, drug use and sexual promiscuity.” (Snip) In another discussion, Johnson said President George W. Bush made a “critical mistake” after the Sept. 11 terror attacks when he called Islam a religion of peace. “People who want a moderate version of Islam worldwide, the Islam that

The phrase, "Calling a spade, a spade..." is considered a racist comment. So is the phrase, "I wouldn´t believe it if you told me the sky is blue.."

Frankly, if its critical and used to describe any condition or situation where Liberalism has wrought its usual brand of suffering (or if said at any time by a conservative regardless of situation), it is racist.

Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm whose Democrat-financed Russia dossier fueled an FBI investigation into Donald Trump, pitched other stories about the Republican presidential candidate to Washington reporters, including an attempt to tie him to a convicted pedophile who was once buddies with former President Bill Clinton. Journalist sources told The Washington Times that Fusion founder Glenn Simpson pushed the idea of a close relationship between Mr. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting sex from an underage girl. The Trump-Epstein link appears purely social, far short of Mr. Clinton’s 20-plus plane rides on Epstein’s “Lolita Express”

President Trump pressured congressional Democrats Saturday to drop their demands for amnesty for young illegal immigrants as part of a year-end spending deal, saying their insistence on protecting illegals is part of a liberal mindset that led to the death of Kate Steinle in San Francisco. “Unfortunately, Democrats in Congress not only oppose our efforts to stop illegal immigration and crack down on sanctuary cities,” Mr. Trump said in his weekly address. “Now they are demanding amnesty as a condition for funding the government, holding troop funding hostage and putting our national security at risk. We cannot allow it.”

John Conyers III, who his father endorsed for his Congressional seat as he departed, ´body slammed [his girlfriend] on the bed and then on the floor where he pinned her down and spit on her,´ the police report said. The junior Conyers rebutted her statement saying the girlfriend, who wasn´t named in the complaint, was using alcohol and marijuana, and tried to throw him out of the residence.

Mobile, Alabama — The Republican National Committee (RNC) is now again backing Judge Roy Moore, the GOP nominee for the U.S. Senate in Alabama. The RNC’s decision to now publicly support Moore again comes in the wake of President Donald Trump’s wholehearted endorsement of Moore on Monday morning. (Snip) Throughout this process, since the Washington Post published frivolous evidence-free allegations against Moore, the RNC’s position has closely mirrored the White House position on Moore. At first, the RNC held out criticism or withdrawal of support while the president was overseas in Asia on a multi-day, multi-country trip.

Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello Nevares last month asked federal taxpayers to shell out $94 billion to pay for the territory’s recovery from Hurricane Maria — then turned around and paid out about $100 million in Christmas bonuses to island government employees. The governor’s aides say the bonuses are a longstanding tradition and part of the law, and were planned for in the budget approved last summer. But that budget came well before Hurricanes Irma and Maria slammed into Puerto Rico, leaving much of the territory in ruin and leaving the government begging for federal assistance. There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments.
