Harvey Weinstein? Roy Moore? What About
the Crimes of Bill Clinton and Robert Byrd?

American Spectator, by Dov Fischer

Original Article

Harvey Weinstein really started something. Or his cowardly “brave” accusers did. In this new time warp, are there not aspects of bewilderment juxtaposed amid all these unwanted-sex accusations dating back 30 and 40 years? In settled law, we have a concept called “statutes of limitation.” Limitations statutes painfully and regretfully recognize that, with the passage of enough time, memories fade and evidence innocently disappears. Moreover, at some point, even the worst of people deserve some sort of repose. Thus, a victim of a tort — a social wrong like a slip-and-fall — may have only two years to sue. If

The Establishment Republicans do not want Moore in Washington. Period. They are helping the Democrats to keep him out. If one looks at pictures of young models like Cindy Crawford´s daughter who is being photographed in her under wear for all to see, one can see how a young man could be attracted to her. I want to know how he actually met the young lady and got to know her since she was in high school and he was busy in the capital. Was it through her parents? Was he friends with them and did they think it was ok? Too many questions.

John McCain collaborated with the VC while a POW, and admitted to adultery in court. Why is he still in the Senate?

Bill Clinton raped women. Why does he get a lifetime pension?

I could go on, but I am too lazy to look it up.

Point is, Roy Moore did nothing illegal. The 14 year old´s mother hasw stated that she is lying.

Have we all forgotten the Kennedy boys, LBJ, Mary Jo Kopechny. Most of this done in the White House? Guess being slimeballs is reserved for the Democrats. Dozens of unsolved murders related to the Clintons? It could go on forever and the idiot voters keep putting the same old incompetents in office.

Rex Tillerson’s tumultuous tenure as the nation’s top diplomat appears to be nearing an end, according to a deluge of reports that have him being forced out in the near future. The New York Times reported Thursday that the White House has drawn up a plan to replace Tillerson with CIA Director Mike Pompeo and tap Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton to take over at Langley. Other media outlets subsequently issued corroborating reports, adding more weight to rumors that President Donald Trump was ready to give Tillerson the boot. On Friday, Trump himself dismissed the stories as “fake news,” but there was no

Advocates for illegal immigrants are unrepentant after yesterday’s shocking acquittal on all homicide charges of an illegal-alien confessed killer. The advocates are defending the sanctuary policies that had set in motion the 2015 killing in San Francisco; they have also doubled down on their opposition to any deportation of illegal aliens, criminal or otherwise. If ever there were a clarifying moment regarding what is at stake in the battle for the immigration rule of law, this is it. Jose Ines Garcia Zarate was a poster boy not just for the folly of sanctuary policies but also for the mass low-skilled Hispanic

Flynn’s plea doesn’t prove collusion

Friday morning’s guilty plea from former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn is a major disappointment for Democrats. Flynn admitting to having made false statements is nowhere near where the Democrats want this to go. Of course, the story is big and the fact that a former White House official has been charged with anything and pleaded guilty is consequential, but it doesn’t suggest any collusion occurred and it doesn’t even get close to confirming that Donald Trump or his campaign was somehow complicit in a nefarious scheme. Democrats are already straining themselves trying to suggest that Flynn’s plea is just

News media are breathlessly reporting that Gen. Michael Flynn has agreed to plead guilty to lying to the FBI. You can read the Statement of the Offense here. The false statements alleged by the government seem rather pathetic: 1) Flynn falsely told an FBI agent that he didn’t ask the Russian ambassador to “refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions” the U.S. had just imposed, and 2) that he didn’t recall the ambassador subsequently telling him that the Russians had moderated their response per his request; 3) Flynn falsely said that he didn’t ask the Russian ambassador to

A meeting last year between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton triggered a hunt within the FBI for a source who talked to a reporter about the controversial encounter, newly released government emails show. The emails, released by the watchdog group, Judicial Watch, show that FBI agents in the bureau’s security division were miffed about an article that appeared in the New York Observer detailing the logistics of how Lynch and Clinton came to meet on the tarmac at Phoenix’s airport on June 27, 2016. The FBI had initially told Judicial Watch that it did not have documents related

VAN HORN, Texas — A Texas sheriff who was among the first people to reach two badly injured U.S. Border Patrol agents said he thinks they may have been sideswiped accidentally by a tractor-trailer, not attacked, as President Donald Trump and some others have suggested. The injured agents were found the night of Nov. 18 along a culvert next to Interstate 10 near Van Horn, which is about 110 miles (175 kilometers) southeast of El Paso and about 30 miles (50 kilometers) from the border with Mexico. Agent Rogelio Martinez succumbed to traumatic head injuries and broken bones. His partner, who

Why the Alabama Senate race

After all that has happened, the Alabama Senate race appears to be reverting to a fundamental political truth: A state that is one of the most Republican in the nation is likely to vote Republican. Of course, there is still the possibility of some new and devastating sexual misconduct revelation about GOP candidate Roy Moore. But there is an increasing sense that the old and devastating sexual misconduct revelations are receding into the distant past of two weeks ago. Now, Moore is recovering in the polls and more Alabama voters seem comfortable with the idea of voting for him. Part of that

When Defense Attorney Matt Gonzalez and Public Defender Jeff Adachi chose to make the exoneration of their client Jose Ines Garcia Zarate in the death of Kate Steinle an opportunity to attack the president, vice president and attorney general, my immediate thought was these two young lawyers are fools. But no matter -- because the real villains in the Kate Steinle story are the San Francisco politicians who made the rules that prevented ICE from removing the already five-time deported criminal Zarate from the country. The ongoing cascade of sexual-harassment violations is fascinating for all sorts of reasons. But one thing has been nagging at me for a while and Patrick Ruffini put his finger on it this morning: When the allegations about Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes came out, the mainstream media had a field day. But there was no larger feeding frenzy. Last year it was a “Fox News” story, not a “societal problem” story. It took the Harvey Weinstein allegations to get the mainstream press to start asking uncomfortable questions about its own institutions. I can think of several reasons for this,
