More than six in ten babies born in London hospitals have foreign mothers who are either immigrants or visiting from abroad, official figures show. The evidence of the impact of immigration on the NHS was revealed in a breakdown of hospital records for last year published by the Office for National Statistics. (Snip) In one London hospital nearly four out of five births were to mothers born abroad, and in two others the figure was over 70 per cent. Across the country just over 28 per cent of babies in 2016 were born to foreign-born mothers, up from just over 11 per
Comments: Instead of an invading army that would meet with vigorous opposition, the Marxists invade incrementally and even encourage the stupids to cheer their own demise.
Isn´t this what the white man allegedly did by invading the Native American´s land, over populating it and pushing them out? You´ll never hear the hypocritical globalist leftist kooks whine about Europe´s problem.
An East Bay jury has awarded former Black Panther leader Elaine Brown $3.75 million in damages for injuries she suffered when Oakland Councilwoman Desley Brooks assaulted her during an argument at a downtown restaurant. The two-page release contained no names of senators or victims. It said $599,000 was for 13 settlements involving “member-led” Senate offices, while the remaining $853,000 was for 10 settlements involving “other” Senate offices. (Snip) The document said the largest Senate settlement was $421,000 and was for “race discrimination and reprisal.” Similar figures released this week
Democratic Senator Dick Durbin is prodding GOP Senators in closed-door negotiations to accept his huge DREAM amnesty in exchange for his promise to let low-ranking border officials continue routine, non-political practices. For example, Durbin’s lopsided proposal says Democrats will allow customs officials to buy commonplace $3,000 computerized license-plate readers for cheaply identifying cars as they pass through the border. But that agreement to buy the cost-saving devices is conditional on GOP Senators supporting the Democrats’ amnesty of 3.25 million ‘dreamer’ illegals — plus millions of their illegal immigrant parents and chain-migration relatives — at the cost of at least $26 billion

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe informed House Intelligence Committee investigators this week that former FBI Director James Comey told him President Donald Trump requested his loyalty, a conversation the president has denied having. According to the report, the FBI deputy director testified Comey told him about Trump asking for his loyalty, which suggests McCabe may be able to corroborate Comey´s account. Back in June,
Welcome to Gridlock Central, otherwise known as New York City during the holidays. It helps to remember that you’re not in Kansas anymore — or Manitoba, for that matter. Life will be so much better for yourself and everyone around you if you observe a few basic rules. In other words, walk this way: Keep right. If you’re walking more slowly than the natives — and there’s a good reason for the phrase “a New York minute” — stay to the right on stairs, escalators and sidewalks, so we can step nimbly by you. Separate. Two-by-two worked for Noah’s Ark,

There´s no mistaking President Donald Trump´s ´Merry Christmas´ message - he wields it as a weapon against political correctness. For weeks, he´s been liberally sprinkling his public remarks with Christmas tidings. And then pointing it out in case anyone fails to notice. Trump has long promised that this year would be different after what he saw as a trend toward giving the Christian celebration short shrift in favor of a more generic and inclusive ´happy holidays´ message. (Photos) ´Well, guess what? We´re saying ´Merry Christmas´ again,´ Trump announced in October at a Values Voter Summit of conservatives. For all of
First the Merry Christmas greeting, and now the candy-covered rooms at the White House - are the Trumps trolling the Obamas? The extravagant display brings a new holiday twist to the White House, especially since Michelle Obama walked out. (Photos) Obama previously rooted her iconic vegetable garden on the South Lawn, which was a reflection of the family´s health campaign, Let’s Move, for schools - which the Trumps have mostly done
Environmental Protection Agency officials are “leaving in droves”, reports the New York Times. More than 700 people have left the Environmental Protection Agency since President Trump took office, a wave of departures that puts the administration nearly a quarter of the way toward its goal of shrinking the agency to levels last seen during the Reagan administration. What marvellous news to ease us all into the festive Christmas spirit, eh readers? Why, it’s like the final scene in A Christmas Carol where Scrooge repents of all his miserliness, his nephew Fred gets a big fat turkey, Bob Cratchit gets a pay rise and
‘Look!” shouted my older daughter, Daphne, then 2 and a half , as she pointed to a cow. “Mooooooo.” “Moo is right,” I said, squeezed between car seats on the way to our new home. “And goats, too. So many goats.” “No, Mama. Sheep,” Daphne corrected me, her pigtails snapping side to side. She could differentiate farm animals better than I, a native New Yorker dropped from the clouds onto Texas soil. I had agreed to leave the Northeast and move to Dallas for my husband’s advertising career, an enterprise that was more profitable than my writing — alas, the greater good. The
In the summer of 2015, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos was on top of the world, ma. Former FBI Director James Comey is accusing current FBI leadership of bowing to political pressure by reassigning the FBI’s top lawyer. “Sadly, we are now at a point in our political life when anyone can be attacked for partisan gain,” Comey tweeted Friday night, in a rare public statement. “James Baker, who is stepping down as FBI General Counsel, served our country incredibly well for 25 years & deserves better,” he continued. “He is what we should all want our public servants to be.” Baker worked closely with Comey during the latter’s time at the FBI and served as the
One of 2017´s defining geopolitical slugfests was between heavyweight personalities President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. It was an international standoff that descended into personal name-calling, with Trump labeling Kim "little rocket man" and the U.S. president being described as an "old lunatic" and a "dotard" in return. If the past year were one round in a boxing match, most analysts say there´s only one winner. "No question, Kim Jong Un won 2017," according to Jeffrey Lewis at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. In January, Trump used his Twitter pulpit to
