Not so Glamour-ous! Frugal Chelsea Clinton

Chelsea Clinton opted for classic black to take the stage at Glamour magazine´s Women of the Year Live Summit, and when it came to choosing heels to match her outfit, she turned to her favorite pair of damaged nude pumps. The 37-year-old, who was named Glamour Woman of the Year in 2014, donned a simple, yet elegant A-line dress featuring scallop detailing on the bodice and hem for the event that was held at the Brooklyn Museum on Monday. Chelsea accessorized her look with a delicate gold necklace and her favorite patent leather pumps, which looked incredibly torn up after

She has a $10 million NYC apartment, her parents are loaded, plus she has sold a few books here and there and had a cushy TV job at $600,000 and she can´t replace her favorite shoes? Weird? I´ve seen better finds at the Good Will.

That´s how people are judged - by how worn their clothes/shoes are? I´m very glad I don´t care about being judged.

Not that I give a rip for Chelsea, either; she´s to be pitied for her unenviable parentage. No doubt she often wishes she weren´t living in their shadow, always and forever.

the heel damage is from sidewalk grates. That can happen to totally new shoes. Maybe she had duplicates? I´ve been known to do that when I find a shoe that I truly love.

I have so many reasons to criticize Chelsea - her clothing and shoes just don´t qualify on that more serious list...

Gack. Where to start?

1) Chels is not that bad looking; she was dealt some pretty hideous cards at birth. She can´t help that much. She DOES resemble Webb more and more each day.

2) The Beast looks heavily medicated in that photo where she is looking directly at the camera. Kinda like someone caught her stuffing stolen money in her purse.

3) I like The Beast´s wardrobe choice. As Lacey Underalls said to Ty Webb: "Who´s your designer? Benihana?" Looks she she stole some curtain from a Chinese restaurant.

Please, it is one thing to criticize ethics, fashion, manners, politics, etc., but please do not criticize and/or ridicule a person’s appearance—we are as Nature created us, children of God, created in His image, and loved by God, to the point of His personal sacrifice and patience in wanting to save all His children before the end of the age. May we strive to remember: “But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.” (Colossians 3:8)

Allow me to share right away that if you haven’t followed the entire fourteen months of discussion surrounding The Big Ugly, this is not a discussion thread you will enjoy. This is more digestible by those who have a comprehensive understanding of the 2016 back-story behind the DOJ and FBI surveillance program of Candidate Donald Trump, then President Trump, and the FISA-701(16)(17) issues therein. On this subject, as with a few in the past, CTH has presented intricacies beyond the current story. Question: Do you think Donald Trump spends more time thinking about Hillary Clinton than Hillary Clinton spends thinking about Donald Trump? Sure does seem like it. The other day, President Trump was discussing Russia at a press conference with the prime minister of Norway, when he suddenly announced that Clinton “was not for a strong military and Hillary, my opponent, was for windmills, and she was for other types of energy that don’t have the same capacities at this moment certainly.” Yeah, it didn’t make any sense. But he really can’t seem to get past her. Recently while promoting tax

According to Representative Dave Joyce (R-OH14) the House Intelligence Committee will hold a vote on the release of the four-page Nunes memo that reveals systemic corruption within the DOJ and FBI; including the unlawful use of FISA-702(16)(17) data searches which were part of an elaborate DOJ-FBI surveillance program on the political campaign of Donald Trump. (Tweet) Additionally, Chad Pergram reported that Chairman Devin Nunes met with Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte to discuss the best process to release the memo. There are generally two ways it could be done, the HPSCI vote is the most likely. As more people have become aware

Comic book readers are apparently not fans of progressive politics—a fact no more evident in Marvel’s decision to cancel every single one of its comics that has been nominated by the LGBTQ advocacy group, GLAAD. In December, the publisher announced its decision to cancel many of its comics, citing poor sales. LGBTQ, feminist, and social justice-themed comics involving stories that revolved around Black Lives Matter, illegal immigration, and LGBTQ issues were among those to end up on the chopping block.

Adam Schiff, reputedly a champion leaker from the House Intelligence Committee when it came to Russiagate material, suddenly thinks Ignorance is Bliss when it comes to the FISA warrant used to spy on the Trump campaign. Appearing on CNN, he tried to justify keep the 4 page memo that reportedly exposes the individuals who acted as part of a cabal to undermine the Trump campaign with help from NSA spying, and then pushed the “Russia collusion” conspiracy theory as part of the “insurance policy.” Americans are too ignorant, you see. Do you think Democrats are starting to panic? (Video) Rush

WASHINGTON – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called the government shutdown a “manufactured crisis” created by Democrats who want a permanent Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) fix, which he referred to as a “non-emergency” issue that does not belong in the short-term spending bill to continue federal government operations. “The one non-emergency issue our friends on the other side of the aisle are trying to shoehorn into this discussion doesn’t reach that status of emergency until March. This is pure folly. The American people know so, that´s why in a recent survey a majority said keeping the government open

It’s billions of dollars over budget and seven years behind schedule, and appears to have no plausible way of living up to its goal of getting riders across the state in three hours or less. Welcome to what’s arguably the nation’s largest infrastructure project and California’s biggest boondoggle. The highly hyped bullet train has been a challenge from the start. No one thought it would be technically, financially and politically easy, but the way the project has been mishandled has some Californians fed up and demanding answers. Just this week, the California High-Speed Rail Authority, the organization charged with overseeing

St. Catherine University (a/k/a St. Kate’s, formerly St. Catherine College) sits on a leafy 110-acre campus in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. It is located a few blocks down the street from my high school alma mater and within shouting distance of Macalester College as well as St. Thomas University. A “Minnesota woman” went on an arson rampage at St. Kate’s this past Wednesday. Truza Jamal Hassan — a 19-year-old former student — set eight fires in seven building across the campus. All but one of the fires were set in trash cans inside bathrooms. Hassan kindly explained
