After a Disciplined Week in Asia,
Trump Unloads on Critics

New York Times, by Mark Landler

Original Article

Hanoi, Vietnam - For the last week on the road, President Trump had been measured, disciplined and studiously scripted as he picked his way through the geopolitical minefields of Asia. (Snip) In a stream of tweets on Sunday, the president said those who wanted to investigate his ties to Russia were “haters and fools,” ridiculed “crooked” Hillary Clinton’s ill-fated effort to reset relations with Russia and fired back at North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, for calling him old, saying that he could call Mr. Kim “short and fat” — but had restrained himself. That followed a freewheeling session with reporters on Air Force One on

Comments:
The New York Times, trying to dig itself out of the hole it has made for itself championing "fake news" about President Trump, can´t help itself as Year 2 is beginning. Stay tuned. (Trump is winning). In 140-character long tweets, President Trump continues to smack down his opposition with facts. They can´t take it. No matter how hard they try, the "fake news" media's tears will never turn into anything thing other than whine.

Trump and Melania are such a refreshing contrast to the freak show that were the Obamas on every trip abroad. Not only did they embarrass America but they put us down every chance they got. It´s great to be winning, solidifying ties with the world and showing the left up for the whining losers that they are.

The difference between President Trump and Huessain is truly bombastic. Who can ever forget Obama waist bowing to foreign leaders, walking past foreign executives who refused to even shake his hand (understandable when one considers where that hand has been)and stumbling & bumbling without a teleprompter. Trump is the star of every diplomatic show and our international friends and enemies deeply respect him. Thank God for President D.J. Trump!!

On Sunday protesters clashed with police in Tunis. Some young men threw stones and police used tear gas, local reports said. The protests were staged in the run-up to the seventh anniversary of the ousting of President Zine El Abiding Ben Ali in 2011, an event that signaled the beginning to the Arab Spring. Most in the region are not looking back at those momentous events. Instead they are dealing with the aftereffects and many governments appear to hope that not discussing the Arab spring will mean the causes of the frustration that led to it will go away. Washington - U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday thanked the ruler of Qatar for “action to counter terrorism and extremism in all forms,” the White House said in a statement that suggested a warming of ties between the two countries. In June, Trump had called on Qatar to stop funding groups that commit terrorism, saying the Gulf nation had historically done so “at a very high level.” Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, who along with Qatar are members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, plus non-GCC member Egypt cut off diplomatic, travel and trade ties with Qatar last year, accusing it of supporting militants and

If actions speak louder than words, President Trump’s actions Monday on Martin Luther King Jr. Day were restrained, amid persistent accusations of racism. In a sharp departure from his predecessors on the national day of service, Mr. Trump spent the bulk of the holiday at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. President George W. Bush typically marked the holiday with a public event such as attending a service honoring King at a Baptist church in Landover, Maryland, or greeting volunteers at a public high school in Washington. President Barack Obama normally celebrated the King holiday by taking his daughters to serve food

Lots of the news from sub-Saharan Africa is about war, famine, poverty or political upheaval. So it’s understandable if many Americans think most Africans who immigrate to the United States are poorly educated and desperate. Research tells another story. While many are refugees, large numbers are beneficiaries of the diversity-visa program aimed at boosting immigration from underrepresented nations. And on average, African immigrants are better educated than people born in the U.S. or the immigrant population as a whole.
