Can Roy Moore put his hand on
a Bible and swear he didn´t do it?

Washington Examiner [DC], by Editorial

Original Article

“If these allegations are true,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Thursday, “he must step aside.” That was the typical Republican reaction to the accusation that Roy Moore, Alabama´s GOP nominee for the Senate, sexually accosted a 14-year-old girl when he was a local prosecutor decades ago. This is the most reasonable position. A child sex predator does not belong in the Senate and certainly does not deserve the support of the Republican Party. Second, there’s got to be some presumption of innocence. Whether the accusation is of sexual assault, public corruption, or anything else, an accusation is not proof

Hmmmm...the allegations of rape against Bill Clinton were credible.. and numerous.. and his Security details were tasked to go get his dates... are you going to have him swear on a Bible that he didnt have sexual contact with these women? The time is about the same..40 years ago to present.. pattern of behavior

The smear technique being used is slanderous.

why didn´t these accusations show up during his Ten Commandments fight?

"Thou shalt not bear false witness" would surely have prompted accusers to emerge, it seems to me.

No more Clintons, no more Bushes, and no more Obamas. These people have established themselves to be of double standards. They believe themselves to be part of the ruling elitist class. That is what our founding fathers were trying to get away from. Isn´t it curious that Prince Harry has joined the Obamas? All of these families believe they rule us common folk.

I don´t know if these allegations are true about Roy Moore - only he does. As a previous poster pointed out, people seemed to embrace Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky days. So much so that I kept hearing the excuse that it was his private life.

Again, double standards.

The Democrats and the press are downplaying and hiding the current prosecution of sitting Senator Robert Menendez. Prosecutors in his case also believe that he repeated left the country to have sex with underage girls. The Democrats are quietly discussing whether that man can continue to serve in the Senate from prison. But no due process for a Republican, amirite?

There was a democratic Member of the House, from New England, a homosexual, who took an underage congressional page on international trips, for sex.
Representative Gerry Studds was censured by the House, stood with his back to his colleagues while the censure was read, received a standing ovation from democrats.
He went on to serve several more terms in the House.

The big question about this smear is Why Now? The second question is did the media ever do this to a RAT running for election? Along with these I have a comment on this challenge. This is a test that can only be used against the best people. Roy Moore respects God and believes in his faith. His enemies even admit it with this challenge. Obama, Hillary, Meuller or any of the rats would have no problem putting their hand on a bible and lying, and when they did no-one would believe the lie to be true! Even Roy Moores enemies believe he is an honest man who is true to his word and respects a higher being. He has already denied the allegations. Voters of Alabama, elect Roy Moore. We desperately need many more honest people who´s word is good in public office.

Okay, Mitch. Apparently Moore is going to continue - meaning, by your ultimatum, that the allegations are NOT TRUE. Maybe he´s a liar, but that would only make him one of the boys. It may be that Alabamians will either discount this apparent "smear" (even if true) as cheap politics, or they will dismiss it as "just about sex" in the best Democrat tradition.

BTW: I guess Jim Carville´s remark about dragging a $100 bill through a trailer park remark is a bit outdated. The price is up to $1000 these days.

There are, in essence, three things wrong with the federal tax code. They are, in descending order of importance, that corporations pay an absurdly high rate; that the code is a labyrinthine mess that turns the work of paying one’s taxes into a nightmare; and that marginal individual rates have in recent years become punitive, with higher-income payers bearing most of the punishment. The tax reform bills currently in the House and Senate don’t eliminate any of these problems. But both bills address all three problems—and particularly the corporate tax rate—in ways that will encourage growth and investment. The most significant provision
