Endless Accusations Cloud the Truth
PJ Media, by Andrew Klavan

Original Article

I have to write this quickly because any minute now, Senate candidate Roy Moore might quit or be cleared or might simply be blown out of the headlines by some fresh violent atrocity that the media will either attempt to exploit in an effort to destroy our second amendment or attempt to distort so we don´t notice that every killer involved happened to be named Mohammed. At my back, I always hear the news cycle´s winged chariot drawing near. I´m in a hotel in New York, and this morning over my covfefe in the lounge, I looked up at a television

I´ve looked over quite a few of the allegations, accusations and demands for surrender.

It´s disgusting that a man who has served justice his whole life is being railroaded before anything is proven by evidence. All there is, is accusation - after 40 years - and with no evidence of predatory behavior since then to establish probable cause. Disgusting.

When I look back at how democrats are protected, even if guilty by evidence and repeated offenses, the contrast tells me this is not the country it should be. And the stain on it, the swamp of noxious behavior and enslaving attitude can be found in our government, our press, and in academia and entertainment. All traitors - enemies of freedom.

If I lived in Alabama, I´d vote for Roy Moore. If any man is known by his enemies, he is. And his enemies are far worse than they accusations they so glibly trot out of the swampish hell and display for all to see.

May be the best thing I’ve read today:

I´m in a hotel in New York, and this morning over my covfefe in the lounge, I looked up at a television and saw a Chyron announcing that someone I´d never heard of was finally going to "break her silence." And I thought, "Oh, please don´t." Silence has become a precious commodity and we need as much of it as we can get. Otherwise, it´s all noise and outrage and outrage at the noise and noise about the outrage. As far as I´m concerned, you should only break your silence in case of emergency.

And it I lived in Alabama, I’d vote for Roy Moore. It would be worth it to put the saintly ones in their proper places. And teach young girls to not be pleased that an “older man” finds them attractive. Most of us have known that was bunkum since we first put on lipstick.

There is no way to prove or disprove these allegations which is why they are so effective. If Hillary was in charge of Moore´s campaign she would manage to turn the accuser into a tramp. If there really is a recording of a WaPo reporter offering money for an accusation then the ball game is over. Barring that all we have is the shady background of the first accuser casting doubt on her veracity.

I´ve been looking into it was shocked to find that this was not the first case in human history where an older man found attractive, sexually mature teenage girls to be, well, attractive. In fact, it has happened a few times before, most recently in 18th century France, but the culprit escaped prosecution and sought asylum in Italy, where - unbeknownst to the police! - he also found attractive, sexually mature teenage girls to be, well, attractive. I know this is shocking news, but: "metoo"!!!

Clouding the truth is precisely the purpose.

For decades, the man has been in politics, a judge, and a Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. And maybe many years ago he was 32 and had a temporary thing for kissing teenage girls who seemed mature enough to consent....

And all this hits the fan with four different girls coming out at the same time?

NO ACCIDENT. Dirty politics. I´d vote for Moore just because I don´t like political ambush. It´s what keeps good people from running for office.

So says a sign at the church, at 3738 River International Drive in Tampa, that delivers a stark warning to anyone thinking of wreaking havoc. "PLEASE KNOW THIS IS NOT A GUN FREE ZONE," it reads. Al Franken is a well-known jerk. I would say that just about everyone who has dealt with him personally knows it, including Senator Amy Klobuchar and his other Senate colleagues. One can see the pure manifestation of this aspect of his character in his treatment of Leeann Tweeden as set forth in her powerful first-person account of his unwanted attention. Franken has issued two statements in response to Tweeden’s account today. First he offered a cursory attempt at exculpation. As his colleagues abandoned him, Franken sensed he couldn’t talk his way out of this jam. He abjectly apologized and joined the

Tweeden’s account has been posted by 790 KABC in Los Angeles, where she works as a morning news anchor. Her account is posted here. I see no reason not to take it at face value. ST. PETERSBURG — What does disgraced Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein have to do with the city’s fight against the influence of money in politics? Believe it or not, there is a connection. Last month the City Council approved an ordinance limiting the amount an individual can give a political action committee in a single year to $5,000. It could serve as a vehicle for challenging the Citizens United vs. Federal Elections Commission decision. The historic 2010 U.S. Supreme Court ruling removed restrictions on how much outside groups can spend on elections. Two weeks ago, City Council chairwoman Darden Rice touted the offer

He must be one of the Senate’s unfunniest senators and most partisan hacks. Vice President Cheney spoke for a lot of us with his imprecation to Leahy back in 2004. Serving on the Judiciary Committee with Minnesota’s own Al Franken, however, has probably dimmed Leahy’s bulb in all departments. The Trump administration’s Justice Department is inching toward a full investigation of possible corruption in Hillary Clinton’s dealings with Russia as secretary of state — with Republican lawmakers urging a focus on her campaign as well. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, addressing the House Judiciary Committee yesterday, insisted any probe of President Trump’s 2016 Democratic rival will be handled in a nonpartisan way, without undue influence from the White House despite Trump’s goading tweets. A DOJ letter to the committee Monday said Sessions has directed senior federal prosecutors to “evaluate certain issues” related to Clinton and recommend whether a special counsel should be

Senate Republicans coupled its tax-reform bill with a massive budget cut. The House of Representatives would be wise to follow suit. The Senate majority leader and the Senate finance committee endorsed Senator Tom Cotton’s proposal to include a repeal of Obamacare’s individual mandate alongside tax cuts. This either kills two birds with one stone or that one stone sinks the tax plan because of its weight. If Senator Bob Corker issued his complaints last month regarding deficit reduction in earnest, one guesses that the former occurs. Is there anything in the news more farcical than liberals and feminists saying it’s time for “a reckoning with Bill Clinton”? Clinton was credibly accused of severe sexual misconduct by several women. One of them, Juanita Broaddrick, alleged that Clinton raped her. The White House intern was barely out of her teens at the time. If Roy Moore, against whom no allegation of sexual misconduct has been conclusively established, is unfit to occupy one of
