If you want to get away with anything, you need only one skill: distraction. Today, we Americans find ourselves sinking into swamp after swamp of institutional corruption, from Washington´s Russia eruptions to Hollywood´s frisky lust to academia´s sheer madness. A question repeats ad nauseam: How do they get away with this stuff? How did gropers and pederasts run amok in our nation´s media for decades without being challenged? How did a web of state operatives, lobbyists, agents, and propagandists fool so many people with disinformation for so long without being caught? And at last, how did colleges that were conceived as lights

Robert Oscar Lopez touches on an undeniable truth, which many today choose to ignore: Morality is a tightly woven fabric, which unravels when individual threads in the warp and woof become severed. For too long, some Americans have bemoaned unpopular kinds of corruption (e.g., dishonesty and greed in government and business) which accepting the continuing decline of personal morality. Today, the moral code of average Americans is on par with the decadence of post-revolutionary France. If the American middle class has become so morally week, is it any wonder that our leadership and institutions lack the necessary integrity to maintain our society?

Distraction and redirection have long been topics on these Ldot threads. Lopez doesn’t break any new ground for us, but I do sense that more citizens are becoming aware of this technique of the socialist elites. We could be reaching the critical mass that Trump needs to bring on The Big Ugly.

#2, perhaps it´s true that Lopez doesn´t break any real news here for aware L-dotters, but he summarizes and analyzes it in a perceptive and admirable way.

I know the solution to all the vice --- sexual, financial, political --- will be for everyone to root out the corruption in their own bailiwick, their business, their professional organization, their political party, their labor union, their church, their family.

How many of us are going to do that?

Well, do what you can. Sometimes the tipping point is a lot closer than you think.

Maybe a BUNCH of parents will rise up when YOU blow the whistle on the Middle School sex ed program composed of what used to be called "corrupting the morals of a minor."

Maybe a BUNCH of County Republicans will rise up when YOU state unequivocally that no self-serving RINOS should be nominated for anything, not even dogcatcher.

Maybe a BUNCH of co-religionists will rise up when you audibly object that the denomination´s "Social Justice" line sounds like Democratic party platform, and you ain´t gonna take it.

Maybe just 5% of us doing this, will be enough to arrest the rot.

Or hopefully, to qualify for Divine mercy.

It´s hard to fight the media, who have access to the entire family through TV.
If you object to the garbage being pushed through the show, then you´re ´square´, ´prude´, bigot, or whatever.

I never allowed Cable TV into our home.
I knew, watching how our small children were mesmerized by anything animated, that IF we got cable TV and the kids found the Cartoon Channel, it would always be on, unless I was there to be the bad guy who turned it off. I refused to have my kids exposed to a steady diet of the animated garbage that passes as ´cartoons´.
That was MY way of fighting back.
Not much, but all three kids went on to earn 4.0 averages all through school, and full academic scholarships to the reasonably close state university.

Just in case anyone has any doubt about the rot... just look at how Bubba and the HildeBeast have skated, time and time again, on conduct that would put a normal person behind bars for decades.

Today, look at how (little) coverage there has been of the ´Rat US Senator Menendez corruption trial. But let there be even a RUMOR that a Conservative acted poorly FORTY YEARS AGO (Roy Moore in Alabama) and it´s WALL-to-WALL coverage.

There was Oprah Winfrey at the Golden Globes, with her big glasses and 2020 visions of a presidential run, speaking to the greatest collection of sexual predators and their enablers pontificating about the rights of women in an industry where not long ago these same people, led by the pompous and condescending Meryl Streep, gave a standing ovation and an award to director Roman Polanski, child rapist. Oprah didn´t mention Polanski, or Harvey Weinstein, or Bill Clinton, or why she didn´t use the show that made her rich and famous to condemn predators such as these and the Hollywood culture that

Why Liberals Need to Look

A common theme among progressives is that conservatives aren´t just wrong; they´re dumb. Reagan was dumb. G.W. Bush was dumb. Trump is dumb. "Knuckle-dragger," "mouth-breather," "stupid," and "uncultured" are typical pejoratives hurled at conservatives, who apparently tend to live in trailer parks, require dental care, handle snakes, and marry first cousins. (snip) Any argument that may give them even an inkling that they´re wrong can induce a bit of panic and is thus quickly rationalized away – often as the rambling of uneducated, un-evolved mouth-breathers who just don´t know any better. This phenomenon is exacerbated by two related factors. First, liberals

Like a couple of teenagers blissfully unaware of the watchful eye of their parents, FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page got caught out for sending text messages showing just what Deep State was up to. Exposed by The Hill´s John Solomon, the messages show a self-satisfied pair egging each other on in leaks, snipes, bitchiness and insults, centered around their copious and potentially illegal contacts with the media. You have to read it to believe it. What it shows is that the whole thing pretty well amounts to a conspiracy against the incoming new administration of President Trump. The other

The left indeed has become a family. Unfortunately, it often resembles the Gotti crime family (hat tip: Larry Schweikart). Let´s face it: Republicans have their share of corruption, but what the left has become is not tinged with the normal shortcomings of humanity. It´s become criminal. Literally. Fully. And seriously. Let´s look at a few shades of leftist criminality. I don´t mean the common finger-pointing, where leftists claim that anything done by the center-right is "criminal." Like being for tax cuts. Being pro-life. Or against illegal immigration. Voting for Trump was criminal. The left thinks anyone to its right is criminal. But most sane
