‘Tyrant’ Laura Ingraham Already

Her Show Hasn’t Even Aired Yet

When conservative author and talk radio host Laura Ingraham sits down in the anchor chair on Oct. 30 for the first time as a host on Fox News’ evening lineup, the cable network will be making a multi-prong bet. The first is that its audience will gladly stomach another evening hour of ardent Donald Trump boosterism. (Snip) Already, there are signs of trouble. A number of Fox staffers are dreading the possibility of working for Ingraham, who, even among the healthy egos that populate America’s cable newsrooms, has built a reputation as overbearing. According to numerous sources, Ingraham has been,

They sure are out to get FNC aren´t they. The Internet is rife with articles about them this morning. It is surprising to to me that Markey was formerly with the Washington Free Beacon. Of course all of these staffers are anonymous. How do we even know this is true? We don´t. Andrew Kirell, one of the other reporters, is from Mediaite. Now there´s a place where there´s no bias. s/o

Ingraham clerked for Clarence Thomas so I imagine that she expects high standards and results from her staff. But the Daily Beast wouldn’t know anything about high standards.

Laura doesn´t look like much of a tyrant, has children, and seems like a rather nice person. Please provide the list of terrified Fox staffers.

The left cannot and will not debate issues or substance. Ingraham will kill them at 10 pm East/7 pm West.

Oh, I imagine the guy yelling at his staff from MSNBC (Lawrence O´Donnell) the "stop the hammer" guy is a nice guy.

In this case I believe it. Have you seen her interview style? If a guest doesn´t answer the way she wants them to, she browbeats them over and over until they do. She´s a lot like Hannity and O´Reilly in that respect. Imagine what she would do with the camera off. I dont like tyrants in real life and I certainly wont voluntarily tune them in. We dont need another Morton Downey Jr.

All the best to Laura and her efficient staff in their new endeavor at FNC!!! We are looking forward to seeing it!

I believe it. I´ve seen her roll her eyes and shake her head when others are saying things she disagrees with, but I´m sure she does her homework and will do well on her new show. Mainly, all she has to do is praise Trump for an hour each night, and she´ll be a hit. Since she will follow Hannity, two hours might be a bit much, or not. Those hours are my time to read good novels.

#6 is right. I have never enjoyed listening to Laura Ingraham. She is so intense and seems so tightly wired that it´s hard to watch. In addition, she does not tolerate dissent and I hate it when she interrupts other panelists on Bret Baier´s show.

Overbearing talent is more common than not in tv and if being a bit of a monster gets results, that´s the goal.

Ingraham will do well enough based on working at Fox News with little competition. I´ll listen to her radio show in the mornings but can take only so much of her. She has a hard edge which will be magnified in front of a camera. She regularly sounds shrill and harsh.

I wish her new show the best but absolutely believe much of what this story claims.

I tried listening to her radio show and found that I just can´t stand her voice, I can´t stand how she ask long long questions and finally -at least on her radio show- she talks too much about her adopted kids very fashionably adopted from undeveloped countries and with Russian and Hispanic names.

Laura Ingraham is a stickler for details and expects her staff to have the same attention to detail she does. I don´t blame her for that at all. That is one of the reasons she is successful, and it also comes from her legal background.

The profession lost a great lawyer to the world of journalism. I like her feisty, but sometimes her arrogance is a bit hard to take.

The writers are the same kind of people who would be terrified if somebody simply talked to them while having their hands on their hips. Remember John Bolton? He did that to a staffer while he was the UN ambassador. That amused me greatly.

I’ve admired Ingraham for years, and look forward to her program, smart, witty, informed and correct most of the time. Some here seem to think a woman shouldn’t be assertive. A bit sexist, don’t you think. Other than its a bit late for old people, and follows same old Hannity, a largely wasted hour after Tucker.

After repeated unsuccessful campaigns for Congress and for Ohio´s Supreme Court, the Democrat shocked everyone when he won his current seat in 2012. One year after losing the presidential race, 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is still questioning the “legitimacy” of President Trump’s victory, accusing Republicans of voter suppression tactics in swing states and Russians of influencing votes through a “disinformation campaign.” “I think that there are lots of questions about its legitimacy,” Clinton said of the election during a video interview posted online Friday by the liberal Mother Jones website. While editing ‘Vanity Fair’ in the ’80s and ’90s, Daily Beast founder Tina Brown confided some of her best dish to her now published diary, including this gem about Jackie Kennedy. Thursday, July 6, 1989 Quogue- I love how New York changes so completely in the summer. It’s my favorite time of year here, sitting at my wooden desk before the open window with the cool sea breeze. The August issue arrived by FedEx. The Jackie O cover story, and Michael Milken’s rise and fall by Marie, is a much more commercial combo than July. To generate some summer heat I assigned Ed Klein to do Jackie to mark her sixtieth birthday. I asked him because he was always going on about how she liked him when he edited The New York Times Magazine.

In a textbook example of why Facebook users should pause for a moment of reflection before they post, a Democratic candidate for Ohio governor sought Friday to get ahead of any potential sex scandals by announcing the details of his relationships with 50 women. The sexcapade diary was in response to the Al Franken scandal, and included a hayloft romp with a "gorgeous blonde" and a fling with a "red head from Cleveland." “Now that the dogs of war are calling for the head of Senator Al Franken I believe it is time to speak up on behalf of all heterosexual males,”

Former Democratic Rep. Corrine Brown asked for leniency from a federal judge in Florida on Friday. She faces a lengthy prison term after being convicted of stealing thousands of dollars that were meant to go to charity. In May, a jury convicted Brown of 18 felony counts, including filing false tax returns, mail fraud, and working with others to run a fake non-profit group. Her conviction represents a major fall from political grace. Brown was one of the first black elected officials to be elected to federal office in Florida in 1992. She represented the Jacksonville, Florida area in the

Gov. Chris Christie refrained from saying "I told you so" when he introduced Ivanka Trump at an appearance in Bayville earlier this week. But he had every right to, especially when it comes to the recent developments concerning his old rival Jeff Sessions. During the presidential campaign last year, the governor of New Jersey and the then-Senator from Alabama were among the first prominent Republicans to come out for Donald Trump. At one point in that campaign, Trump said Christie would make "a great attorney general" in the event he won the election. Trump went on to win, but Christie lost

More than two dozen investigators have spent weeks scouring wine country trying to solve the mystery at the heart of the most destructive wildfires in California history: What caused the infernos that killed 43 people and destroyed more than 8,000 buildings? The answers will have wide-ranging ramifications for the region, which faces staggering losses and a challenging rebuilding effort.
