Trying to quell accusations that he is ousting activists from the party´s left flank, Democratic Chairman Tom Perez told fellow Democrats on Saturday that unity is crucial in the fight against President Donald Trump, whom he lambasted as an "existential threat" to the nation. "We have the most dangerous president in American history and one of the most reactionary Congresses in American history," Perez said as he addressed the first Democratic National Committee gathering since his February election. The former Obama Cabinet official blistered "a culture of corruption" that he said extends to Trump´s Cabinet, House Speaker Paul Ryan and
An actual truth from the Associated Press about President Trump, he is the most dangerous President ever, however he is only dangerous to the liberal/socialist, anti American vermin in the Congress, the Bureaucracy, and among the populations illegal aliens, terrorists and all enemies of AMERICA.
History repeats itself... remember back when N. Pelosi was calling Republicans "the culture of corruption?" Now the public is beginning to understand jusst who the corrupt and dangerous people are... the leftist, "progressive," Democrat(ick)s! Add in the Islamists and we truly have many nasties to confront. TG4T!
This is now the new standard liberal line. Ta-Nehisi Coates was on Charlie Rose shaking his head and declaring Trump as "dangerous" over and over. Tom Perez morphs into Louis Gutierrez when he is in Chicago.
The Democratic Party is the party of history-challenged, potty mouth hysterics,* no doubt.
But #2 makes the better point: Trump threatens their ideological grip on our institutions. It´s still--we must never forget--an uphill challenge of frightening odds. Yet charge we must. Win we must! as Yoda would put it.
*Should I spell that word "hyrsterics," in the spirit of the re-invent English PC crowd?
Wow! We elected the most dangerous President ever in the history of our nation. I like that. It kind of makes me feel powerful and important. Trump is like Super Man, Bat Man and the Green Lantern rolled up into one big super hero.
You know, these Democrats are scared. I think they are sensing their demise is imminent. Their threats of impending mega disaster if people don´t give them their pwoer back are increasing. They are no longer even attempting political cajoling and persuasion. They have devolved into ´Witch Doctoring´- "Crops will fail, the elk will not return, the moon will not come back. your wives will quit having babies if you do not do as I say."
Yet, they don´t seem to see how they are perceived by us. Their power is gone and so nothing they can say can convince us to let them back in the tribe they so desperately despise. In short, they are becoming pitiful.
This is the most dangerous world in American history so it´s a good fit. Thank God that Bathhouse Barry Obama will not be in the White House when North Korea or Iran shoots their first serious missile.
Been wearing my "Trump - Make America Great Again" shirts more often these days, as much as a sign of support for our fine President as a way of flipping an "up yours" bird to lefties who believe crapola like this.
Perez is an extreme radical ugly American leftist who leads a radical leftist political party that is more attuned to representing illegal aliens and foreigners in general than working Americans. That’s why they lost the election and they are so set in their ways that they can’t figure out for the life of them why that happened.
President Donald J. Trump is routinely referred to as a fascist by the left. Much of that rhetoric originates from within the Democrat Party. We hear little to no outrage by either Democrats or Republicans at the use of this inflammatory language. In fact, the cliched phrase “the silence is deafening” finds a real application in this climate of extreme disparagement. Think of it: Trump’s desire to have extreme vetting of immigrants from certain war-torn Islamic countries is portrayed repeatedly as racist, Islamaphobic, and fascist. These countries are hotbeds of Islamic terrorism. They are countries where members of the Taliban,
Hillary Clinton believes appointing a special counsel to investigate her ties to a uranium deal with Russia would be an abuse of power. Clinton said that if she were to be put under investigation by a special counsel, the United States would be like an “authoritarian regime.” Clinton believes it would send a bad message to the country and would be “demoralizing” to people who have served at the Department of Justice, Axios reported Wednesday. Clinton told Mother Jones: If they send a signal that we’re going to be like some dictatorship, like some authoritarian regime, where political opponents are
Judge Moore has been accused of sexual assault and sexual advances on teenage girls by the liberal media and coastal elites in the past week. Several of the allegations have already been disproven. The runoff election is scheduled for September 26. WHEN: Friday, Nov.
President Trump got his wish Wednesday afternoon when the three UCLA basketball players busted in China for shoplifting thanked him for his help in getting them home. The three, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley and LiAngelo Ball — younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball — also apologized to their families and their school, while thanking the Chinese cops for treating them well. “I would like to thank President Trump and the United States government for the help they provided. I am grateful to be back home and I will never make a mistake like this again. I
Joe Biden is trying to pad his resume in anticipation of a potential 2020 presidential run, and he´s turning to none other than Lady Gaga to help him bolster his community service credentials. The former vice president is teaming up with the Mother Monster, according to The Hill, to open a small chain of trauma centers designed to provide long-term physical and psychological treatment to victims of abuse. And despite how ridiculous it sounds, Biden swears it´s not a joke — though the co-branding might get tricky. "We´ll set up trauma centers where women can go to get the long-term
The family of a man who was seriously injured during the mass shooting at a Texas church have been struck with tragedy for a second time. Marion Colbath, and his grandson Hank Summers, were forced to flee their San Antonio house in the early hours of Wednesday when it went up in flames. The pair were lucky to escape with their lives after video footage showed 20ft high flames erupting from the building. Relatives say Colbath was already struggling to cope with stress after his son David was shot at the Sutherland Springs First Baptist Church mass shooting on November
Trump is having sensational success internationally, and a good part of that comes from his machismo. This is machismo not in the silly feminist sense, but in the old-school sense of manliness, of a guy standing tall and proud, glad to talk but ready to fight if need be. That kind of machismo. Other national leaders can feel it in his presence, and it actually affects their own sense of manliness. This is what natural leadership feels like, even if it´s a woman exuding it. Self-assured, informed, cheerful, fun. People want such a one out front, leading the parade, and
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) mocked President Trump for his awkward reach for a drink of water during a Wednesday television address, comparing it to his own famous hydration break during a 2013 TV appearance. “Similar, but needs work on his form,” Rubio tweeted. (Tweet) Trump pointedly paused during his speech recapping his 12-day trip to Asia to take a drink of water from a bottle, clips of which quickly went viral on social media. Trump has mocked Rubio in the past for drinking water during his response to then-President Obama´s 2013 State of the Union address, which featured a jolting reach
LOS ANGELES- Three UCLA basketball players detained for shoplifting at three high-end stores in China publicly apologized Wednesday before coach Steve Alford announced they were being suspended indefinitely. Freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley won’t be allowed to suit up, practice or travel with the team while the university continues to sort out the circumstances of last week’s incident in Hangzhou, China, Alford said during a news conference at Pauley Pavilion. ”These are good young men who have exercised an inexcusable lapse of judgment and now they have to live with that,” Alford said. ”They let a lot
A Democrat running for Congress was arrested on a stalking charge last week, but the media has refused to give the story any coverage. David Alcon, who is running for an open congressional seat in New Mexico, was arrested this past Friday on a felony stalking charge after a woman accused him of sending her frightening and lewd text messages and showing up at her home. Alcon was previously convicted of stalking his ex-girlfriend in 2007 and was described as “infatuated” and “clearly obsessed” by the judge in the case. The story has been met with silence from a number
More than 100,000 convicted felons or other “prohibited persons” tried to buy guns each year during President Barack Obama’s administration by lying on their applications, but the Justice Department only considered prosecuting about 30 to 40 people each year, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation. The Obama administration may have publicly aligned itself with anti-gun activists, but it consistently turned a blind eye to prosecute known criminals who tried to buy guns. A June 2016 Justice Department Inspector General’s report revealed that between 2008 and 2015 the U.S. Attorneys office considered prosecuting “less than 32 people per year”
The attorney for Alabama Republican Senate Candidate Roy Moore appeared today for a brief press statement and provided material that strongly suggests the documents provided by the accusers attorney, Gloria Allred, were forged. In a subsequent follow-up interview with Allred she refused to say the documents were not forged. Apparently Judge Roy Moore was the presiding judge in the divorce case of Beverly Young Nelson. The signature on the yearbook Mrs. Nelson provides as evidence, via Gloria Allred, looks like it was taken from the judge’s signature on her previously undisclosed divorce documents. Roy Moore’s attorney Phillip L. Jauregui says
In the past few weeks, I´ve been a woman of split personalities. On a good day, I´m elated — empowered and inspired by the many women who have courageously opened the floodgates to help end the shroud of silence and shame that surrounds victims of sexual assault and harassment. I shared my stories. I brought other women together to share theirs. We were giddy at the catharsis. It felt like a sea change. On a bad day, I´m despondent — devastated and angry that so many of the people who were rightly outraged over Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey were utterly disbelieving
Former model Leann Tweeden accused Minnesota Sen. Al Franken Thursday of harassing her multiple times during a USO entertainment tour in the Middle East in 2006. Tweeden alleges that Franken, a writer for Saturday Night Live before he became a Senator, wrote a script that featured him kissing her, and harassed her during rehearsals, Tweeden writes for KABC. When Tweeden returned from the tour, she noticed a photo from the tour where Franken has his hands on her breasts and is smiling into the camera. “You knew exactly what you were doing. You forcibly kissed me without my consent, grabbed my
Jeff Sessions is a man in search of a banana peel. When he can’t find one to step on, he supplies his own. Sessions is not a bad man, but he is a bad attorney general, as he demonstrated again Tuesday. By writing to Republicans in Congress just hours before he was scheduled to testify that he was open to appointing a special prosecutor to examine former FBI Director James Comey’s handling of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail case and the notorious Uranium One deal, Sessions primed the pump for a really big show. Democrats arrived furious and Republicans gleefully expected an ah-ha moment. Both
Appointing a special counsel to probe her Uranium One deal would be “such an abuse of power” by the Trump administration, Hillary Clinton said Wednesday. The former Democratic presidential candidate said Trump risked dangerously politicizing the Justice Department, “like some authoritarian regime.” Clinton made the remarks in an interview with Mother Jones about reports this week that Attorney General Jeff Sessions asked two top prosecutors to look into the sale of a uranium company to Russian interests during Clinton’s time as secretary of state. President Trump and other Republicans allege ties between donations to the Clinton Foundation and the company sale, even though
When the Washington Post filed its story against Roy Moore last week, we took a cautious line, agreeing with Republican lawmakers who said “if true,” these charges disqualify the GOP´s nominee in Alabama’s special election for the Senate. We pressed Republicans to extract more information from Moore. Since then, plenty more information has emerged. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, after getting Moore’s side of the story last week, withdrew his endorsement of the former judge. A former boyfriend of the chief Washington Post subject, who says Moore fondled her as a 14-year-old after flirting with her outside a custody hearing, corroborated the story. A
House Speaker Paul D. Ryan said Tuesday that the entire U.S. House will now face mandatory training to avoid sexual harassment and discrimination, moving to address the growing national scandal over behavior ranging from the boorish to the criminal. His comments came hours after a House committee held a hearing on harassment. Mr. Ryan said the House will now have a policy of mandatory training for every lawmaker and every staffer. “Our goal is not only to raise awareness, but also make abundantly clear that harassment in any form has no place in this institution,” he said.
Environment: This week, thousands of scientists issued a bleak and terrifying "second notice" to mankind about how we will destroy the planet unless we take "urgent" action. If this warning is as reliable as the first notice these scientists issued in 1992, we have nothing to worry about. In an article published in the journal Bioscience, 15,364 scientists warned that we are "jeopardizing our future" and that "immediate action" is needed to "safeguard our imperiled biosphere." "Soon it will be too late to shift course away from our failing trajectory, and time is running out," the scientists say. The article
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told attendees at a Wall Street Journal event on Tuesday that if Judge Roy Moore wins the Alabama Senate race in December, he will face a Senate ethics committee investigation. McConnell argued, “I think it’s safe to say that if he were to be sworn in, he would immediately be in a process before the Senate Ethics Committee. He would be sworn in and be asked to testify under oath as well, and it would be a rather unusual beginning.” The Washington Post released an article last week that alleged that Moore engaged in sexual
It was a rather cagey move via Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. The longtime anti-Trumper was barely able to conceal his smirk as he informed the media that should Roy Moore win next month’s Alabama special election to fill the vacant Senate seat created when Jeff Sessions became the U.S. Attorney General, it would be up to President Trump to make the final decision regarding whether or not Moore would be allowed to actually serve in the Senate. (Snip) Democrats in Congress are said to already be preparing a full-on “If Roy Moore isn’t fit to be a senator then Donald
Papa John´s apologized Tuesday night for comments made by CEO John Schnatter blaming sluggish pizza sales on NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. The company is a major NFL sponsor and advertiser, and Schnatter said on an earnings call Nov. 1 that "NFL leadership has hurt Papa John´s shareholders" and that the protests "should have been nipped in the bud a year and a half ago."(Snip) "The statements made on our earnings call were describing the factors that impact our business and we sincerely apologize to anyone that thought they were divisive," it said. "That definitely was not our
The allegations by five women that Roy Moore pursued and sexually molested teenage girls while he was in his 30s are disgusting, and disqualify him to serve in the United States Senate. Conservatives should be outraged at Moore for his loathsome conduct. But they should also be outraged at the man who helped put Moore on the ballot and is in the process of destroying the Trump presidency: Stephen K. Bannon. If the man Trump supported in the primary, Sen. Luther Strange, were the Republican nominee today, the GOP would be cruising to an easy victory in the Dec. 12 special
The U.S. Air Force said Tuesday that an executive order signed by President Donald Trump doesn´t solve its massive pilot shortage as intended. Trump´s order allows the Air Force to recall up to 1,000 retired pilots to active duty to ensure it has enough aviators who are combat-ready. By law, all branches of the military are typically only allowed to bring back 25 officers at a time. But the Air Force is short 2,000 pilots as of last week, and pilot recalls aren´t sufficient to meet needs. "We appreciate the flexibility, but we want pilots with more than just a three-year commitment," an Air Force spokesman told Fox News on Tuesday.
