The Obama Administration’s
Uranium One Scandal

National Review Online, by Andrew C. McCarthy

Original Article

Let’s put the Uranium One scandal in perspective: The cool half-million bucks the Putin regime funneled to Bill Clinton was five times the amount it spent on those Facebook ads — the ones the media-Democrat complex ludicrously suggests swung the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. The Facebook-ad buy, which started in June 2015 — before Donald Trump entered the race — was more left-wing agitprop (ads pushing hysteria on racism, immigration, guns, etc.) than electioneering. The Clintons’ own long-time political strategist Mark Penn estimates that just $6,500 went to actual electioneering. (You read that right: 65 hundred dollars.) By

Read the comments after the article. The left is already out in attack mode smearing and name calling anyone who would give credence to this article. Bringing any of these individuals to justice is going to be a gargantuan task. Are Republicans up to the challenge? If history is any indication, it does not look good and the democrats know it. When have the Republicans prosessed the courage and will to do what is necessary to bring charges against the democrats? This time will be no different. If Sessions has already said he will not lift the none disclosure agreement, this goes no where.

As McCarthy says, it is an Obama administration scandal, but I disagree that is is not principally a Clinton scandal. The Clinton presidency set in motion a long term effort to search out and catalog nuclear material with coopted intel assets:

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/06/the_clintons_us_intelligence_and_the_great_uranium_follies.html

For this reason I think Comey, and now Sessions avoided pursuing the matter into the Deep State which would result in espionage charges on a multitude of bad actors, including agency heads. JMO.

Don´t forget that President Bill Clinton when in office authorized the sale of Loral´s ballistic missile guidance technology to China to help them launch a benign sattelite into orbit over objections.

This gave them a reportedly 25-year leap ahead in their missle development program.

Great comprehensive article. Everyone should read the entire thing... so many facts and details are included that it would be hard for anyone to dismiss as "loony right wing conspiracy".

If Grassley is seeking the testimony of this whistleblower, then I can´t help but think Sessions will concede. Many on the left will say because he recused himself from all things Russia he shouldn´t be involved, but at some point, he will have to be adamant that his job is more than the puny Mueller witch hunt. And considering how Mueller, Rosenstein, Comey, McCabe were all in the know about this, they cannot be in charge of it´s investigation!

Yep, NR is like Hot Air and other sites who believed that switching to Facebook comments would eliminate foam at the mouth trolls since anonymity would be eliminated.

2 problems:
1) Some people, many of them so-called academics, don´t mind making fools of themselves in plain sight. They´re also often doing it on the public dime.

2) Fake Facebook accounts are plentiful and easy to set up thus removing whatever advantage FB comment engines might have had.

NR, despite their NeverTrump purity, have long been a prime target for the lefty loon commenters.

This ought not be a partisan issue whatever. It´s an American issue that strikes at the heart of our government by and for the people. Yes, heads should roll, but we know few who control the levers of justice are willing to hold criminals responsible, and that is a bi-partisan failure.

After the deplorables chanted "Lock her up!" expecting justice, the catalyst of the chants says she has suffered enough. No questions will be asked. Meanwhile one wonders to where Jeff Sessions has recused himself.

Did they all turn the other way because they knew they would be taken out by the Democrat machine? Hillary, Obama and Bill had that much power?

Uranium One happened under the Obama administration. Of course he was involved. Don´t stop at Hillary. Lots of others knew about or were involved in it. All major Obama holdovers need to be shown the door so they do not cause more problems. The other thing is they need to be prosecuted. This was no trade deal. This was Obama and the rest of his gang of anti-American lefties weakening the United States and profiting from their actions at the same time. It really is treason.

Growing up in Detroit, I was a huge hockey fan. After a long stretch of awful teams, the Red Wings got good, eventually leading to a string of Stanley Cup championships. It was a glorious time to be a Wings fan. In that time there were certain players who annoyed the hell out of me, all of whom played for other teams. Few bothered me more than Chris Chelios, defenseman for the Chicago Blackhawks. He didn’t bother me because he was a cheap-shot artist, he bothered me because he was good. It was a busy news week. The president was in Asia attempting to prevent both North Korea from going nuclear and a rigged trading system from destroying the American economy. Roy Moore was attempting to hang in there so he can turn Alabama blue and turn the Senate over to the Democrats. Congress was trying to pass a tax bill that will benefit big (but not small) business and repeal the mandate that undergirds health care for the old and the sick. With all of that going on, you might have missed the really important news. Here it is: In Bonn the

"Bin Laden is dead and GM is alive" was a favorite mantra of the Obama campaign during the 2012 election. The implication was that al-Qaeda was "decimated," as President Obama said several times. But the recent release of documents taken from Osama bin Laden´s Abbottabad hideout shows that al-Qaeda, far from being "decimated," was, in fact, growing even stronger. The information was deliberately withheld from the American people by President Obama, who released just a few pages of documents in May of 2012, carefully selected to jibe with the administration´s narrative on al-Qaeda. The spirit of the times has opened the floodgates of long-suppressed heartache. Victimized women are thus coming forward a decade or more after being abused by this political don or that show-biz celeb — who, in Al Franken’s case, could be the same guy. It is vital that we hear their stories. There should be no expectation, though, of a courtroom reckoning. While prosecution is practically impossible, that doesn’t absolve the culprits. Once upon a time, Hillary Clinton thought the prospect of a presidential candidate declining to pledge to absolutely accept the sanctity of certified election results was "horrifying." The sexcapade diary was in response to the Al Franken scandal, and included a hayloft romp with a "gorgeous blonde" and a fling with a "red head from Cleveland." “Now that the dogs of war are calling for the head of Senator Al Franken I believe it is time to speak up on behalf of all heterosexual males,”

But he had every right to, especially when it comes to the recent developments concerning his old rival Jeff Sessions. During the presidential campaign last year, the governor of New Jersey and the then-Senator from Alabama were among the first prominent Republicans to come out for Donald Trump. At one point in that campaign, Trump said Christie would make "a great attorney general" in the event he won the election. Trump went on to win, but Christie lost
