The Latest: Obama bemoans
rise of racial politics

Associated Press, by Staff

RICHMOND, Va.— The Latest on former President Barack Obama campaigning for Democrats running for governor in New Jersey and Virginia (all times local): 9:10 p.m. Former President Barack Obama is bemoaning the rise of racial politics. Speaking at political rallies in New Jersey and Virginia, Obama said past prejudices the country thought it had “put to bed” have reemerged. The first black president offered himself as proof that the country has moved forward, telling the crowd in Richmond, Virginia — the former Capitol of the Confederacy — that he is a distant relative to Confederate President Jefferson Davis on his mother’s side.

First time I ever heard him talk about his mother´s side. He was suppose to be the racial healer; instead, he became the primary divider. We were better off racially before he became President. He did nothing to help matters. Tell him to go back to Chicago and peddle his lies.

What a crocka crap. Obama was practically the very epitome of racial politics. This is one of the biggest "you gotta be s**tting me" statements I´ve heard any politician say in over fifty years.

And as y´all know, we´ve heard some REAL doozies in that time...

OM*G is he even remotely serious?? He had a once in a generation opportunity, a unique opportunity, to be really savvy and thoughtful and help heal racial divisions in this country ... and instead he marched out every-extreme-leftist diversionary “true believer” race-industry despicable trick in the book, cast blame in one and only one direction thereby reinforcing extreme disfunction on one side and alienating the other, and did everything in his power to promote false narratives and thereby made things much, much, much worse; for all of us in America. All of us. Relations between groups in this country were light-years better before his election than afterwards.

He is either reallllly dumb ... or he did it on purpose.

While in office, he stoked it, supported it by giving bank and corporation fines to them, and constantly provoked each criminal activity associated with it.

House Republicans managed to pass the first comprehensive tax reform bill in over three decades Thursday without the support of 13 GOP defectors. The bill, which passed 227-205, eliminates the state and local tax deduction, a measure designed to compensate residents of high tax states by reducing their federal tax bill. This revenue saving measure sparked opposition from Republican delegations from New Jersey, New York and California, who believe the bill will result in a higher net tax for their constituents. Here are the 13 GOP members who voted “no” on the bill:

House Democrats mocked Republicans after the lower chamber passed legislation to overhaul the tax code on Thursday. House Republicans had started to clap after the bill received enough votes to pass when Democrats joined in and sang “na na na na hey hey hey goodbye." House Democrats appear to be referring to the possibility that Republicans who voted for the bill will not be reelected due to their decisions. Democrats mockingly sang the same song in May when House Republicans passed their ObamaCare repeal and replace legislation. The measure was approved by a vote of 227-205 Thirteen Republicans in the

President Donald J. Trump is routinely referred to as a fascist by the left. Much of that rhetoric originates from within the Democrat Party. We hear little to no outrage by either Democrats or Republicans at the use of this inflammatory language. In fact, the cliched phrase “the silence is deafening” finds a real application in this climate of extreme disparagement. Think of it: Trump’s desire to have extreme vetting of immigrants from certain war-torn Islamic countries is portrayed repeatedly as racist, Islamaphobic, and fascist. When the Washington Post filed its story against Roy Moore last week, we took a cautious line, agreeing with Republican lawmakers who said “if true,” these charges disqualify the GOP´s nominee in Alabama’s special election for the Senate. We pressed Republicans to extract more information from Moore. Since then, plenty more information has emerged. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, after getting Moore’s side of the story last week, withdrew his endorsement of the former judge. A former boyfriend of the chief Washington Post subject, who says Moore fondled her as a 14-year-old after flirting with her outside a custody hearing, corroborated the story. A
