‘House Of Cards’ Helped Russia Plant Anti-
Hillary Messages During Presidential Race: Report

MSN Entertainment, by Lisa de Moraes

Netflix’s House of Cards helped Russian troll factory workers craft messages messages slamming Hillary Clinton that they posted in comments section of Washington Post and New York Times reports during the 2016 presidential race. This according to a Yahoo report from Michael Isikoff, as explained to CNN’s New Day this morning. Watching House of Cards was supposed to help the trolls write messages to sway the election, Isikoff said he learned while interviewing a worker from the troll factory Internet Research Agency. The worker, who went by the name “Maksim,” said they were “forced” to watch House of Cards, in English

What next? Maybe there were ´secret messages´ picked up by tooth fillings that said bad things about Hilzabub.

Riiight! If I were trying to steal an election, it would be by hiding subliminal messages in a show that no one watches. That should work.

Any comments ´planted´ in those comments sections would have had to be remarkable to stand out from the lunacy of the usual remarks.

Nobody ever really pays much attention to the whack-job comments threads on those sites. The author´s suggestion that ´planted messages´ had any effect on the election should have Twilight Zone theme music behind it.

Okay - as far as I can determine, this is a MSN Entertainment report, which was first taken from a Yahoo News report by Michael Isikoff, which was then explained to CNN´s This Morning, about New York Times and Washington Post reports about comments written in their comments sections by Russian factory worker trolls, who were from the Internet Research Agency, who were first forced to watch House of Cards on Netflix (in, of all horrors, English!!!).

Sen. Cory Booker’s name comes up frequently in talk about the 2020 presidential race, but some Democrats wonder if he has what it takes to compete in what could be a crowded primary. While Democrats say Booker, 48, is one of the party’s “fresh faces” compared to elder statesmen like former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders, they aren’t sure he has created a lane for himself against would-be rivals. “It’s a very high ceiling but he hasn’t met early expectations,” said one top Democratic strategist who has worked on several presidential campaigns. “He needs a signature fight

Construction of new homes climbed 13.7 percent in October, the biggest jump in a year as builders broke ground on more apartments and single-family houses. The Commerce Department said Friday that the monthly gain put U.S. housing starts at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.29 million units. That is the best pace for home construction in 12 months. Housing starts have risen just 2.4 percent year-to-date, largely because fewer apartment complexes are being built. Single-family house construction has driven much of the growth this year in a sign of greater demand from buyers amid a healthy job market. But
