Report: Kaepernick files grievance

Colin Kaepernick has filed a grievance under the collective bargaining agreement for collusion against NFL team owners, reports Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report. Kaepernick has hired high-profile attorney Mark Geragos and is preparing to release a statement about his grievance soon, added Freeman. The free-agent quarterback has remained unemployed since his release by the San Francisco 49ers in March and has garnered little interest from teams around the league. This has caused some to suggest he´s being blackballed for his national anthem protests during the 2016 season. Kaepernick appeared in 12 games for 49ers in 2016, throwing for 2,241 yards with

I notice he is hoping that we will forget his interviews where he said he chose to be unemployed because he thought it helped his message.

He not only voluntarily chose to be unemployed, but his toxic poison is still spreading through the diversity that is now pro sports. Even European soccer is getting in on the act.

The team owners have every right to not take somebody who chooses to take money out of the pockets of the owners of the teams. Wonder how much of his fortune is left after his muslim girlfriend got her hands on him and his wallet.

Johnny Manziel won a Heisman Trophy, was drafted by the Cleveland Browns, is a fabulous talent and is also unemployed. What kind of a lawsuit could he file? Colon Kappie had a few good years when the San Fran Sissies were coached by Jim Harbaugh. When Harbaugh left Kappie tanked. He´s a tall dude so maybe he can get a job changing light bulbs. But you can´t kneel and do that.

Hey, where is Affirmative Action in sports like the NFL and NBA? Do not see the reciprocal quotas for whites in this industry.

I don´t get it he can´t possibly be claiming that the NFL isn´t hiring him because of him taking a knee during the national anthem. Half of the current players are doing just that and being encouraged to kneel if anything. Kaepernick isn´t getting hired because he´s a third rate quarterback.

Your desk can shine a light on some of your work habits and personality traits. So it´s not surprising that a recent photo of US President Donald Trump spawned several reactions on social media. The photo, in a White House handout, shows Trump sitting at the Oval Office´s Resolute Desk, the surface of which is mostly clear, aside from a phone. Trump is leaning forward in his chair, apparently listening to a phone call, while wearing a white "Make America Great Again" hat. The Trump tax cuts might not end well, since they’re likely to push interest rates higher than they’d otherwise go, possibly fueling inflation. And the extra debt Uncle Sam is taking on to finance the cuts only adds to the burden on future taxpayers. But for now, the tax cuts seem to be having the intended effect—they’re boosting corporate earnings, stoking investment and, in some cases, trickling down to ordinary workers. Stocks keep hitting new record highs, confidence is rising and nobody sees a recession on the horizon. Democrats in Washington seem to think they’re sailing into major gains in

Washington- Progressive lawmakers and activists are furious over the Senate´s Monday vote to advance legislation to end the government shutdown. Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown. The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown. It’s a stunning display of political leverage for a group that, at most, numbers several million, can’t vote now, and even under the most generous proposals wouldn’t be able to cast ballots for another decade. Congressional investigators believe they are barely beginning to answer the questions raised by the text messages between the FBI´s Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. For several reasons: 1) Strzok and Page were more prolific texters than anyone knew. In a statement late Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said FBI investigators have found "over 50,000 texts" in their review of Strzok-Page communications. 2) Even with all those texts, the FBI says it cannot find the couple´s messages between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017 — a critical time in the Trump-Russia affair. WASHINGTON – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called the government shutdown a “manufactured crisis” created by Democrats who want a permanent Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) fix, which he referred to as a “non-emergency” issue that does not belong in the short-term spending bill to continue federal government operations. “The one non-emergency issue our friends on the other side of the aisle are trying to shoehorn into this discussion doesn’t reach that status of emergency until March. Chuck Schumer is taking his big spending boost for Donald Trump’s border wall off the table. The Senate on Monday was set to hold a successful vote to reopen the federal government, after Senate Democrats agreed to let the bill through even though it doesn´t include immigration language they are seeking. "We will vote today to reopen the government to continue negotiating a global agreement," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on the floor. Under the bill up to be called up, the government would be fully funded through Feb. 8, and it would fund the Children´s Health Insurance Program for six years.
